Flashback

“Unnie, I don’t really mind if Joongie knows that I am helping you.”  Su Young cooed.

“Ani, I want to do it on my own. I want to show him my sincerity and love. I have to do this... for us.” I said adamantly.

“Arasso... but I will do everything I can to help you even if he knows about it. However, I promise that I will not utter a word about you or your situation to him instead I will help you meet him as often as you can. Will that be okay?”

“Aigoo~ Ssantokki.... loosen up. Just leave the work to Su Young and me. We promise you that we will not interfere so much. You want to succeed right?”

“Yes...”

“So let us be.... Forget about us and just concentrate on getting him back. It doesn’t matter how we do it as long as our goals are achieve. Ara~ ” Bom stated.

I nodded however I’m still worried; the three of us together means disaster.

End of Flashback

2ne1 don’t have any schedule until the 6th but I have one last to attend to. I need to go to Addidas store to submit my sneaker design while the 3 members went home to their families. Yes, including Bom. She told me not to worry so much and that Su Young and her will always be there and that they have a plan.

On my way to Gangnam, I decided to get the girls and I personalize sneakers plus Sabbunim and our dancers as a token of our hard work. I choose the colours that identify us individually unfortunately not all colours are available so I had to change some.  While I was looking around, I saw the grey, green, and yellow Addidas CC Ride M running shoes and instantly Joongie came to mind. It’s beautiful and it will work well on his newly found hobby – biking/cycling. Yes, I knew about it. Su Young told me. The truth, I loved it more than him spending time with his friends drinking. 

I smiled looking it. I turned to the salesperson and told her to give me a pair and asked her to put “JD 2Y” on the inner part of the heel collar.   Though the name is not that obvious, I still don’t want to mess up the shoe design so it had to be place there. The lady looked at me oddly at first then smile knowingly. She might have guess that it’s for someone special, obviously the “JD 2Y” is not a name but a code.     *GIGGLES*    (For their 2nd year Anniv)

Just when I was about to be done, my phone rang. It was Su Young. She asked me to meet her at Cafe Le Alaska Apgujeong and informed me that she’s almost there.... then hanged up. What the ...!!!!  Well, she didn’t say it was an emergency so I took my time plus the store is only 5 minutes away from the cafe. Unfortunately, I got stuck in traffic.

(There are 2 branches of Cafe Le Alaska in Sinsa-dong and I don’t know which one JJ went to but based on the cafe description only the Apgujeong branch have a 2nd floor terrace so I assume that was it.)

“Unnie, where are you? We have a change of plan. Don’t come to the cafe anymore.”

“Boh?? I am almost there - give me 2 more minutes.”

 “Ani unnie, just meet me at Caffebene; four shops right of Cafe Le Alaska. Jebal~ do not come here. Arasso?”

“Yah~ Kim Su Young, what is wrong with you?”

“At Cafebene unnie.... I’ll meet you there.” She said then hanged up again.

“Aish~ Jinjja!!!”  I hissed in irritation.

Jaejoong’s POV

Out of the blue, Su Young noona called and invited me for a coffee.  She said she wanted to discuss something with me and since I don’t have anything plan for the day I readily agree.

I was at seating at Cafe Le Alaska’s terrace with my Ice Americano and a piece of bread. As usual, she’s late so to kill time I took out my phone and play anipan – the latest game craze in Korea. I had my back on the entrance to avoid unnecessary attention and concentrated on scoring high on the game – had to beat Junsu.  *LAUGHS*    I didn’t even notice my sister until she taps my shoulders.

As soon as she sat done in front of me, I asked  “Why are you late?”

“Traffic...”  she flatly said so I rolled my eyes. Her and her alibis.

“Are you sure you’re not sick or drunk noona? What got into your mind that you decided to treat me?”  I mocked. Every time we went out, I always pay for our bill not that they have to beg me for it... of course I gladly do it for them but out of the blue she offered to pay. There must be something special about today.  I wondered.

“Ani... I’m 100% sober.” She cheekily grinned.  “I just miss you dongsaeng-ah.”

I smirked.  “Tch~ so what do you want to tell me?”

“Oh that... when are you leaving for Busan?”

“Tomorrow. Waeyo?”

“Can I come?”

I arched my brow.  “Waeyo?”

“It’s your first red carpet as an actor. Is it wrong to support you?”  She reasoned.

“Arasso but you have to go there on your own and pay for your expenses.”  I teased since she’s normally very stingy.

“Don’t worry.”  She replied happily then took a big bite on my bread.

“It’s confirmed. You have gone mad... Are you sure you’re not possessed?”

“I....  “  She started but was cut off as she glares past through me.

I turned around and saw some girls bowing their heads close to their phones or looking away from us guiltily – giggling. I realized that the terrace is almost full, with only 2 tables left unoccupied unlike when I just arrive.

I heard noona cursed.  “Wait...”   She took out her phone and searched something on the net.

“Aish~ this people. It’s only been a few minutes.”

“Waeyo??”  I asked and she showed me her phone and there it was... a picture of me awhile ago.

“I think we better go before more fans arrive.”  She stated and I nodded in agreement.

“I will call you when I arrive in Busan.”  She cooed.

“Arasso...”

 “Ow~ Joongie-ah, can you text me your schedule so that I will know where to see you when I’m there.”

“Deh.... “  I said as I put my arms on her shoulder and squeezed her lovingly.

“Ok... now... pali... leave... before they catches you.”

I nodded and waved her goodbye.

Dara’s POV

“Yah~ what’s wrong with you?” I asked Su Young as I took my seat.

Immediately she showed me a picture of Joongie at Cafe Le Alaska. I looked at her after reading the caption.

“Deh... that’s why I asked you to meet me there.”  She confirmed and continued,  “I wanted to make it look like an accidental meeting unfortunately fans saw him even before I arrive. My pabo brother didn’t even make an effort to disguise himself. Aish~ “

“Yah~ Kim Su Young. You almost created a scandal. Aish ~ Boh?? Disguise??.... Why would he disguise himself when he’s only meeting his sister?”  I scolded.

“Arasso Unnie... Don’t be too work up. Geezzz.... nothing like that happened right? Thanks to my attentiveness.”  She laughed and stated proudly.

“Aish~ could I really trust you and Bom?”  I mumbled.

“Unnie, I’m hurt. Waeyo? I’ve always help you and I’m always on your side.”  She stated dramatically.

“Ara... Geezz...”    I rolled my eyes.

“Anyway, Joongie’s heading for Busan tomorrow for the festival and I already told him I’m going there to support him ----- and you’re coming with me... oh I didn’t include the last part.”

“Boh?? Mitchuso??”

“Will you please stop interrupting... Let me explain our plan first.”

“Okay... go on.”

“I have a feeling that he will be there for 3-4 days. I’m not sure. I’m still waiting for his schedule. I talked with Bom unnie and she said you’re free until the 5th – meaning we have time to go there. You can start making your presence known in Busan. We don’t have time to wait for him to get back since both of you have schedules overseas.”

“How about the millions of fans waiting for him there? It’s an international festival, for goodness sake, you want me to die?” I stated sarcastically.

“Unnie, we will not stay in the hotel. We’ll stay in your house. Its minutes away from the venue, right? Don’t worry about me. I already told Joongie, I’m going there on my own and that he doesn’t need to be bother about me.”  She stated.

“Are you sure about this?”  She nodded and smiled mischievously.

“and Bommie?”  I asked.

“She’ll come with us. We promised to help you, right?”

I sighed. Somehow, I sensed that there’s something they’re not telling me and it made me nervous.

“So, what are we going to do when we get there?”  I dug in deeper.

“Uhmmm~ Bom noona said to just leave it to her.... we’ll just follow her lead.”

“Yeah Right!!! Now, I am really worried.”

Jaejoong’s POV

I was given a room on the 21st floor of the hotel, the second highest and the view was spectacular. It is said that the higher the floor the more important the guest is. I was dumbfounded. I’m just a rookie actor and I don’t consider myself that important so I was extremely uncomfortable about it.

I arrived at around 6:00pm the night before. I had enough time to explore the area. Of course, I’ve been to Busan a thousand times but I just can’t get enough of the city. Ji Sung hyung and I had our dinner together; he called and invited me as soon as I arrive. Though he asked me to spend a little more time with him to get some drink, I declined. As much as I wanted to play, somehow I felt I had to be somewhere else. There’s a void inside me that I can’t explain.

I left the restaurant and drive around. Yes, I am happy, excited, and nervous to be here. It’ll be my first time to be at a festival as Kim Jae Joong, the actor, and alone. How I wish the members will walk with me on the red carpet; if not, how  I wish they’ll be at the sideline watching me, how I wish she is here to cheer me on; and how I wish my family is here to support me... so that I won’t be too lonely.

Speaking of wish, where the hell is Su Young noona? She had not call me after I texted her my schedule.  I parked my car at the road side and decided to call her.

“Hello noona, where are you? Are you in Busan?”

“Yes... I arrived hours ago. Waeyo?”

“Where are you staying? Why did you not call me?”

“Hey...hey... hold on. Why are you asking so many questions? I’m not a child so don’t worry about me. I’m okay. We’ll... I mean... I will be there tomorrow.”

“Wait...  WE... who’s with you?”

“Huh!! Oh... chingus.”

“Ahhh.... can we meet? I don’t have anything to do and I’m just driving around. Where are ...”

“NO!!! Ani... I’m sorry. I mean NO, I can’t. I’m busy.” She interjected.

“Busy with what???”

“Aish~ I’m just busy. I’ll see you tomorrow, okay. Bye.”

I sighed. What is wrong with her? I thought she’s here to support me.

I continued to roam around and my car brought me to the park in front of Dara’s house. The night was beautiful and the breeze was comforting. I turned off the car engine and opened the windows to have a better view of the house. I sat there for quite a while wishing she would somehow appear.

Yes, I’ve totally gone insane. It’s impossible, right? She’s in Seoul for goodness sake. The past weeks, at night, it became a habit of mine to lurk around her apartment until her room lights turned off.  Yes, I followed her schedule online. It somehow eases the emptiness inside me. I have not called her and she has not called me. Is this what I really want??  I missed her. I want her but things are just too complicated. We tried.... I tried... I fought but was it enough?

Dara’s POV

Bom, Su Young, and I were happily driving back to our house in my newly purchase car when I suddenly noticed a white car parked on the opposite side of the road. As we get closer, I realized it was a Bentley – a white Bentley.

“Omo~ Su Young-ah, do you know what car Joongie’s using here?”  I asked hurriedly.

“No... Waeyo?” She replied still holding on to her unfinished coffee.

“Bentley!!! Plate number... what is the plate number of his Bentley? “

“Wae??? What is wrong with you Ssantokki?” Bom asked while munching some chips.

“Pali... tell me.”

“Shouldn’t you know it... it’s your boyfriend’s car after all.” Bom stated.

“Aish~ I will not ask if I remember. Pali... plate number?”

We were about 5 meters away from him when Su Young finally said it and I immediately screamed in panic.

“Yah!!! Ssantokki... Aish~ my ear drum.” Bom hissed.

“Unnie, watch out!!!! Car...!!!! ” Su Young swiftly screamed.     ***SCREAMS ------> AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!”****    I stirred our car just in time and immediately accelerated away from the house. The two were dumbfounded. A blocked away, I hastily stopped the car and let out a deep breathe... that I didn’t know I was holding.

“UNNIE!!!!  - YAH!!!! SSANTOKI, MITCHUSO? WE ALMOST DIE THERE. -  OH GOD!!! WE’RE STILL ALIVE.  UUNNIIEEE~!!”  The two immediately screamed at me, as th
