Narrator POV

It was already late into the night but Yvonne couldn’t sleep, she went down the stairs only to find that she wasn’t the only one that was awake.

“Can’t sleep either?” Myungsoo asked from the sofa and Yvonne nodded.

“I room felt… stuffy,” Yvonne replied, actually it was the whole house that was suffocating.

“Want to go out for a walk then?” Myungsoo asked getting up from his spot.

“Now?” Yvonne looked at the clock, “It’s 2 at night.”

Myungsoo shrugged as he draped a warm jacket over Yvonne, “Why not,” the corners of his lips turned upwards, “Unless you’re scared.”

Yvonne stuck out her tongue at Myungsoo, “Am not!”

“Its okay you don’t have to admit it, I’ll be there to protect you anyways!” Myungsoo hugged her from the back as he zipped up the jacket.

“Let’s go to the Park!” he spoke as his eyes sparkled and how could Yvonne ever say no to him.  

“It’s so dark I can’t even see my hands!” Yvonne waved them in front of her face; it really was hard to see.

Myungsoo took her hands in his and said, “Just follow me, I know the way.”

Yvonne groaned but never the less kept on walking. They must be crazy to come out this late to the park alone. “Umma will kill me if she found out about this… She’ll go on a never ending rant about how dangerous it is for a billion dollar company’s heiress to go out at night without proper bodyguards.”

“Don’t I count as a bodyguard?” Myungsoo asked while pouting.

“Huh?” Yvonne snapped out of her daze. Did I just think out loud?

Myungsoo gave her a recap, “You were saying something about your mom killing you because-…”

“Yeah, yeah I know…” I did think out loud.

“Do I not meet a bodyguard’s standard or something?” Myungsoo kept on pouting and this time Yvonne could see it because they came under the view of a streetlight.

She poked Myungsoo’s cheek and giggled, “Yeah you don’t, bodyguards are supposed to be scary not cute.”

“Wae?” Myungsoo asked keeping up the aegyo, “I’ll make a perfect bodyguard under a façade.”

Yvonne stuck out her tongue at him, “Yeah and that façade will all blow over when the smugglers realise how scrawny you are,” Yvonne joked.

“Me, scrawny?!” Myungsoo gasped dramatically, “For your information I have abs!”

“Really? But all you do is eat and sleep!” Yvonne replied with the same amount of sarcasm as Myungsoo.

“Fine I’ll show you then!” Myungsoo pulled his shirt up but Yvonne quickly pulled it back down, “Yah! Pabo, you’ll get diarrhea if you take your shirt off in this temperature!”

“Aw you’re shy…” Myungsoo winked.

Aishhh, what’s wrong with him today? She thought, he’s being abnormal, what happened to the real Myungsoo? But her cheeks pinked anyways.

Myungsoo’s eyes twinkled glad that he had that kind of an effect on her; he decided to put Yvonne out of her misery, “Look we’re here!”

Yvonne looked up and saw a deserted park, “Okay cool, we’re here, now let’s head back.” She turned to go only to be dragged back by him.

“Wae? Don’t you remember anything about this park???” Myungsoo asked and went back to pouting.

“Um… I’ve been here before…” Yvonne tried as Myungsoo nodded enthusiastically wanting her to go on.

“And…” Yvonne’s m
