Once we were outside and out of my parent’s line of vision I turned to my fiancée and noticed that she was staring up at the sky admiring the stars.

“Doesn't the stars look like they're having a competition? Each one of them is trying to outshine their neighbour,” she spoke not breaking eye contact with the stars.

But you will always be the brightest star in my universe… that would be what my parents would’ve wanted me to say but they’re not here right now so… “I don’t want to marry you.”

“Hum?” she finally stopped looking at the sky and looked at me. Her face was unreadable so I went on with my speech, "Yes I admit that you're pretty and everything but-..."

“And what makes you think I want to marry you?” she spoke unwavering.

"I already-... what?!" Her words were like a slap at my face. All my life girls came at me in crowds crying like there’s no tomorrow just so I’ll go to the school dance with them and this girl here was telling me that she didn’t want me?

“I was forced into this whole thing just like you were,” she continued.

“Well…” I was dumbstruck, “I already have a girlfriend but don’t expect me to break up with her.” My jaw hardened, I took Myungsoo's advice and tried to break it to her gently but... we booth clearly underestimated her sensitivity.

“I know. Her name is Kimie; I did my research before I came here. You’d think I would agree to a marriage with someone I knew nothing about? But then again, I had no choice to begin with.”

Again she shocked me, just how much did this girl know about me I had no idea.

“Don’t worry I won’t force you to break up with her. Nothing in your life changes… just don’t get her pregnant.”

I scowled, “What type of a guy do you take me as?”

I watched as she shrugged and turned her back at me, “How would I know? And I really don’t care. All I care about are ways to break this arrangement, and I’m sure it's the same with you so why be bothered with anything else?”

Her straight forwardness once again made me speechless.

“It’s cold and I don't think you'll be willing to give up your jacket for me so let’s go back in. Oh and if your parents ask, my favourite dessert is ice cream, favourite thing to do is drawing, and favourite celebrity… I hate all celebr
