Narrator POV

It was after the party and Yvonne found herself locked out in front of her house. She had forgotten to bring the keys with her, and it seemed like neither Kai or Myungsoo were back yet.

Where are they now that I actually need them…

 She realised that she haven’t seen them for the whole day after the incident in the morning.

Just when she was going to take out her phone to call she heard the sound of someone crashing into a garbage can. Yvonne went over to see who it was.

She gasped, “Kai?”

“Yvonne,” he turned around at the sound of her voice.

The strong smell of alcohol hit her nose, “Kai have you been drinking?”

Kai stumbled towards her clearly drunk, “Yeah I have. So what?”

“Umm… okay…” Yvonne didn’t know what else to say. She didn’t know how to deal with drunken people, in fact they kind of scare her.

“Okay? Okay?” Kai let out a short laugh, “I’m like this and all you say is okay.”

What was I supposed to say? Yvonne frowned; Kai never liked talking to her. Did that change when he was drunk?

“Tell me Yvonne, if (hiccup) I was Myungsoo would you be concerned? Maybe ask where I was… and why I was drinking, and all those caring question?” Kai came closer.

“Myungsoo… what has he got to do with this?” Yvonne asked confused.

Kai took another step forward and Yvonne took another step back.

“Myungsoo… he has everything to do with this. My best friend… who knew… who knew…” Kai started laughing bitterly.

Yvonne wrinkled her nose; she had always hated the smell of alcohol and backed up more.

Kai violently grabbed Yvonne’s wrist and pulled her to him, making their bodies crash together.

“So now you can’t even stand being near me?! You back away from me when you rush into Myungsoo’s embrace?” Kai growled eyeing Yvonne dangerously.

“Kai, stop it hurts,” Yvonne winced, glancing at her already red wrist, “You’re drunk right now, you don’t know what you’re talking about.” because I clearly have no idea where all of this is coming from.

Kai looked Yvonne in the eye, “I’m sober enough to find you but not sober enough to remember you kissing Myungsoo.”

“Wait, what…?” Kissing Myungsoo? When did I kiss Myungsoo? Was Kai still upset about last night?

“Stop. Thinking. About. Him.” Kai spoke in a low hollow tone, “Will you ever turn to look at me?” His voice suddenly filled with hopelessness, “I love you too…”

Before Yvonne could start explaining she felt Kai’s breath glaze down her cheek, “Why Yvonne… why Myungsoo, what does he have that I don’t? Why are you always on his side and never mines?”

Yvonne stood still shocked by Kai’s confession, “B-but don’t you hate me?”

“I did,” Kai admitted, “I was blind at the time, I couldn’t see that in front of me was the best gift life could give me…I threw you away carelessly… and Myungsoo’s right… I do regret it…”

“I’m sorry Yvonne but please give me another chance,” Kai spoke softly.

Mhmmm… that sounds familiar where have I heard that before… However before Yvonne could figure out where, Kai crashed his lips to hers. Yvonne felt like her whole body was on fire, and that her veins could burst any second. Kai on the other hand finally felt satisfied.

That’s right Kai, she is your fiancée, something that will never be Myungsoo’s unless you give it to him.
