Chapter 36 - His Performance


  After the three performances it was finally the last performance,which was Myungsoo's,the last performer of the night. The lights were off and Myungsoo was standing on stage at the dark. When he started singing the lights started to open,revealing his fully self.

His left hand was holding the mic while his right was behind him.


I always used to be unstoppable
But little by little, I am getting cautious

Soon then his four background dancers came on stage. His eyes started to look for you at the seat that he assigned Jongin and Luhan to lead you to. Once his eyes landed on you,he smiled which made his fangirls squeal.

I pretend to be a cold city man

With efforts to turn away and with strange words, I met you
This isn't a movie , I'm not that guy from that drama

* Now, I can't treat you differently from how I feel
I like you, will you please listen to my honest heart? he sang and revealed the bouquet which made the crowd grow loud.



He then started singing and dancing to the chorus.

** Shall we date?
I was single for such a long time, that I might be bad at dating
But, more than your ex-boyfriend,
More than any guy that you've met
I will love you the most
Shall we date?

You were watching him and you wished he never ran out off love for you. Doesn't he have any feelings for me? Does he already like someone else? you disappointedly thought and pouted.
"Hey,Is Myungsoo mentioning me in that song?Was I bad at dating you?" Luhan teasingly asked. As the 'ex-boyfriend' came up on the lyrics. You then glared at him which made his laugh cut off.

Myungsoo started walking on the stage and started singing. As he walked he was pointing his bouquet from left to right. 
While I was hesitating,     he suddenly stopped and pointed the bouquet in your way. You thought he would give you the bouquet but no, he gave it to another girl. Your face then made a pout. You were extremely jealous and disappointed at the moment,and thought they were no more chances for the two of you. 

Myungsoo noticed how your face changed but he just smiled and singing.

there were so many other guys
Looking at you with great interest and treating you nice
I think I'll go crazy

I wondered if maybe I should just turn away but no I can't
That's not being a man if I just turn away like this

* Now, I can't treat you differently from how I feel

You swore his voice melted your heart but now you were really down,not being able to smile at the moment. Suddenly Myungsoo stopped singing and started talking.

"Everyone must know that I'm in an arranged marriage with Kim Yuri,the campus crush. But I really wanna divorce with her soon." he told which made your fanboys whisper to each other,

"Is he crazy? He is with the prettiest girl in the whole world and he wants a divorce?!"
"Our little princess is already taken" one fanboys sobbed.

You suddenly felt embarrased and hurt. He revealed to everyone he wants a divorce from you as if you were a bad wife. All eyes were on you. Your head hung low and you held Luhan's hand. "Luhan,can we get out of here,please?" you whispered.

"What?Why? Let's finish this first" he told as he continued watching Myungsoo's performance. At this moment you knew,Luhan was the only who can comfort you. You could have asked your brother but you knew he won't get serious, Sehun would but he wasn't there, EXO was there but they'll be like your brother. You had no choice but stay with Luhan.

Myungsoo then continued talking, "But before we officially end this marriage, I want to do this," he cleared his throat. He then started again.

" Kim Yuri. Would you like to marry me again for real?" he asked as he was looking at you. The whole crowd went louder and squealed at him being so romantic. He started singing and got off the stage to give you a bigger bouquet of roses.


** Shall we date?
I was single for such a long time, that I might be bad at dating

"Sunggyu!" Myungsoo called and sent you a wink before going up the stage. You suddenly smiled and blushed. Jongin then groaned, "I suddenly regret helping him and watching his performance"

"Shut up! His performance is the best!" you told not taking your eyes off Myungsoo which made Jongin roll his eyes.

Sunggyu then went on stage and started rapping, 

I don't think it's because I didn't have time or my standards are high
I have waited alone for a long time
To become a prisoner of a woman, who I don't even know
I am telling you that woman is you
Can I tell you what I told you before again?

"He can rap? I thought he was until vocals" Luhan told as he watched him rapping.

Myungsoo started singing the last part,

Shall we kiss?
I want to tell you sweet words like "I love you" every day
I need to be a man of courage
I really want you
Will you stay by my side?
Shall we date?

After he sang,sof music started playing. He then spoke, "Baby Yul? What's your answer?".

The whole crowd started chanting, "SAY YES!SAY YES!" even teachers joined the crowd. A man,who was one of his background dancer, gave you a mic to let the others and Myungsoo hear your answer. "Yes" you answered and smiled at him while he sent you a wink. The whole crowd went crazy and louder. Some of your fanboys were happy and some of them sad,

"Our princess found her prince!So proud!"
"Yuri-ahhhhh!! Why???" the others cried.
