Bright lights illuminated the city of Seoul. People are roaming around the city, enjoying the night view. Some are busy fulfilling their jobs. While others are just simply walking around, not knowing what to do and where to go.

He walks around Seoul. Too occupied with his thoughts.

He didn’t want to go home.

He received his report card earlier and he didn’t want to show it.

He’d be dead.

He’ll be ceased to attend and hold parties.

Of course no one would want that.

He wouldn’t want that.

He walked slowly without any destination at mind. He just let his feet take him anywhere.

He spotted a stall that sells street foods and decided to have a bite.

He was about to take his third bite when his phone vibrated.

Come home. Now.

He cringed. this is scary.

He finished his food and continued walking home.

He prepared himself for whatever torture he’ll receive.

When he was at their front porch, he took a deep breath.

He didn’t expect what happened next when he opened the door.

He didn’t expect a slap across the face.

His head flew to the side and he could feel his cheeks burning from pain.

“What the hell is this, Alexander!?”

Alexander assumed that his uncle already knew about his grades.

Stupid principal.

He looked at his uncle and rubbed his cheeks.

“What will our business partners say? That I have a dumb heir? An irresponsible heir? You’ll be replacing me soon, Alexander. We have to be on top! You have to be on the same level of Kim Corporation. How disappointing.” His uncle said.

Alexander gritted his teeth but said nothing.

He’s too afraid to fight back.

Especially to his uncle.

He’ll be dead in just a second if he does.

“I’ll work on it, sir.” Alexander answered.

Emmanuel was his uncle. But he prefers being called ‘sir’.

“You better.” His uncle said and walked closer to him. “You don’t want to sleep on the streets, do you?” His uncle added and patted him on the back before he left.

Alexander sighed and ruffled his hair.
