“Come here, .” A voice said, walking towards Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo kept on stepping backwards until his back hit the wall.

He’s trapped.

Kyungsoo felt tears on the corner of his eyes.

“G-Get a-away from m-me, p-please.” The smaller boy pleaded.

But instead of backing away, the boy in front of him smirked and inched closer and closer to him.

Kyungsoo found an open door, not too far away from where he is now.

This is his chance to escape.

He took his chance to run when the boy in front of him wiped his sweat.

Kyungsoo didn’t even know where his feet took him but he just continued to run.

He ran faster than his record time and stopped behind the big boxes.

He tried to regain his proper breathing and stood up again, ready to leave.

He only took one step before he felt strong arms wrap around his waist.

“Where do you think you’re going?” The boy behind him said with a scary voice that made Kyungsoo tremble.

“J-Jongin…no…please…” He pleaded.

Jongin suddenly attacked his neck.

“J-Jongin!” He cried.

“Kyungsoo?”

“J-Jongin, stop.”

“Kyungie-ah.”

“Jongin!”

“Kyungsoo!” A deep, husky voice screamed, making the people in the room flinch a bit.

“Ah!” Kyungsoo cried and sat up abruptly, sweat and tears rolling down his face. “Minsoo hyung.” He cried.

At times like this, when Kyungsoo is feeling so scared, he would always look for his beloved hyung.

Chanyeol looked at him with a serious, worried face.

His friend’s condition is getting worse.

Chanyeol was about to touch his sobbing friend when Kyungsoo backed away.

Chanyeol was shocked by the sudden action.

“K-Kyungsoo. It’s me. Chanyeol.” Chanyeol said, voice full of apprehension.

Kyungsoo looked up and saw that he wasn’t at school anymore.

He’s at home.

His parents are present. His mother is on the verge of tears while his father is seriously worried.

“Kyungsoo-ah. What’s happening to you?” Mrs. Do said, and her tears just started escaping from his eyes.

Mr. Do hugged his wife and rubbed soothing circles on her back.

“E-Eomma… A-Appa…” He cried.

Chanyeol stood behind to let Kyungsoo’s parents hug him.

If it wasn’t for this situation, Chanyeol would have beamed happily because Kyungsoo had always wanted his parents to hug him affectionately.

"We'll call hyung, okay?" Mrs. Do ensured his crying son.

Kyungsoo continuously nodded.

A few moments later, Mrs. Do successfully lulled his little boy to sleep, again.

Mr. and Mrs. Do went out of the room, worry still present in their faces, and assigned Chanyeol to take care of their little angel.

Chanyeol sat on the chair beside Kyungsoo’s bed.

Kyungsoo shifted a bit and his eyebrows met. How could an angel be like this?

Chanyeol frowned at the sight.

You shouldn’t be experiencing all of these.

He reached his fingers and straightened Kyungsoo’s eyebrows.

Kyungsoo shifted again and now, he’s sleeping soundly.

Chanyeol smiled.

A few minutes later, Chanyeol suddenly thought about what he and Kyungsoo talked about during his birthday.

Talk to him.

Chanyeol grabbed his phone from his pocket and started typing his message.

To: Baekhyunee♥

Meet me at the usual place. 6 pm.

Chanyeol didn’t have to wait for a long time because Baekhyun replied immediately.

From: Baekhyunee♥

Why?

To: Baekhyunee♥

Just go, okay?

From: Baekhyunee♥

No.

To: Baekhyunee♥

Stop being stubborn, Baek.

From: Baekhyunee♥

Why would you want to meet me there? Just tell me now.

To: Baekhyunee♥

No. I have to tell it personally. Meet me later or else…

Fine!

“Gosh Baek why are you so-- Ugh!” He groaned loudly, forgetting that Kyungsoo was just in front of him, sleeping.

It wasn’t a long time until Kyungsoo’s eyes fluttered open.

“Yeol?” He said and rubbed his eyes.

that was cute.

Chanyeol restrained himself from squishing the boy in front of him.

“Oh, did I wake you up? I’m sorry.” He apologized.

“Sort of. But it’s okay. I had enough sleep for today.” He chuckled.

Chanyeol just smiled. He can still smile despite of the pain.

“Are you okay now?” He asked and assisted Kyungsoo in sitting.

“I don’t know.” Kyungsoo answered, looking down.

“Don’t worry, Kyung. As long as I’m here, I won’t let that beast get you.” Chanyeol assured, making his friend smile.

“Thanks, Yeol.” Kyungsoo flashed his heart-shaped smile. “I heard you groan. What’s with Baekhyun?”

“I’m actually meeting him later. I’m gonna talk to him.” Chanyeol replied.

Kyungsoo nodded. “What time?”

“6 pm.”

“Oh? It’s already 5. Go ahead.”

“I still have an hour.”

“That’s not the point. You should wait for him rather than him waiting for you. Gooo!” Kyungsoo chuckled.

Chanyeol smiled. How can you even manage to smile like that?

“Are you sure? I can just—“

“No. Go ahead. I’m fine. My parents are here.”

“Okay.” Chanyeol said in defeat and stood up from his seat. “Just call m—“

“I won’t interrupt your moment, Yeol. He’s your boyfriend. Not me.”

“Okay. Okay.”

“Leave now.”

“Why are you pushing me out?”

“Leaveeee~” Kyungsoo wooed.

. . . STOP BEING CUTE!

“F-Fine. Okay. Bye.” Chanyeol said and finally left the room.

Kyungsoo just chuckled.
