As her pregnancy was going to its eight months old, they started to buy some stuff for the new baby. Eunji tended to buy everything in pink color since she was sure that their baby must be a girl though Sunggyu suggest her to buy another uni color so that they won’t be any waste if their baby was actually a boy.

“But my instinct said so, Oppayah. Our baby must be a girl. It’s called ‘mother instinct’. Mother instinct!” she insisted while tugging on a pink baby bed sheet.

Sunggyu could only rub his neck at his wife’s stubbornness. As her pregnancy getting old, she somehow being a lot more stubborn and fussier than before so that Sunggyu couldn’t even fight her words. He now was sure of why his father told him that a pregnant woman is scarier than any ghost.

“Okay, just take that pink one, then,” he conceded. She then stomped and bounced happily to put the bedsheet into their push cart and made him worrying about her. “Be careful, Jagiyah!”

She pouted but yet she obliged to his word and clung into one of his arms. As her pregnancy getting old, her husband always worried for every single thing she did. He even banned her to do house chores except for cooking because he would do everything she always did before from cleaning up the room and to do their laundry or dish washing. He was being a gentle husband in a wait of being a newly father.

“So, what should we buy now?” he asked.

“Baby cart! I want that hot pink one, Oppa!” she whined while pointing at at a baby cart stall inside that mall.

“Pink—again?” he half-laughed as he looking down at every pink stuff in their push cart. Whatever their baby is, he was sure that the baby must get enough of being drowned by every pinky stuff Eunji bought for him/her.

To welcome their soon to be newborn baby, they planned to redecorate Sunggyu’s old room to be the baby’s playing room. Hence, they took out everything inside the room before putting in their baby’s stuff. Yet, they needed to get rid many of of Sunggyu’s old stuff since they were actually desuetude. And Eunji was surprised when she found her photo album was placed in one of his shelves.

“How could you get it?”

“Your mother gave it to me as a gift when I visited her on my last business trip,” he answered simply as he was trying to lift a box full of his old books. The box didn’t even budge for an inch so that he pushed and slid it on the floor.

“But it’s mine, how could she just give it to you?” she protested. Eunji sat at the edge of the bed and started to take a look at her old photos.

“But I’m your husband, how could she not give it to me?” he grinned as he finally moved the box outside the room and joined to sat beside her to look at the album.

“When I was in your family mansion, Eomoni let me to take a look at your childhood photo as well, Oppa.”

“Really?”

“Hm. And I’m kind of curious what will our baby look alike. Will our baby took your appearance or mine? Or will our baby's character same as yours or mine?”

He hugged her waist and leaned his chin on her shoulder so that they got same view. “Whatever it is, I hope our baby only take the best part of our genes. I hope she/he had your charming eyesmile…,” he snuggled at the crook of her neck.

“But I want our baby to have your charming eyes too, Oppa…,”

“Then we’re going to have three daughters who look like you and two sons who look like me.”

“E-eh?” she was surprised by his words. “Oppa! Are you serious of having five kids?” she glared at him and asked him in disbelief yet her face was blushing by her husband’s wish.

“Hm, I’m serious, Ji.”

“But that was too much. Raising a child is not a simple thing, Oppa. What if we mess up with everything?”  she mumbled.

“We’ll try our best, Eunji-yah.”

“But what’s up with the number 'five'? I think two or three children must be enough.”

“Because I like basketball,” he simply said.

“W-what?”

“I like basketball, and I would like to have five children so that I could make a basketball team and play together with them.”

She half laughed at his statement. “But—”

“Well, it’s okay if we didn’t get five. I won’t force you though,” he snuggled deeper to her neck’s crook. “I just don’t want our child being lonely thus I want to have many children as possible so that they can play together with their siblings.”

She nodded yet her mind was still considering his thought of producing many children for their family—it must be something new since the baby’s parents, Eunji and Sunggyu were the only child in their family. They then left the baby topic hanging just like that and planned to just enjoy everything they’ve gotten first. Soon, they were immersed to have a look at her old photos and it somehow reminded them of their high school nostalgia.

“Ji, which class are you in when you’re a junior?”

“X-A. Why?”

“Ah, no wonder we barely meet, I’m in class XII-H. We separated as the two ends of the entire classes in our school.”

They giggled.

“I wonder what will happen if we knew each other back then…,” she murmured. “Would we end up as we are now? As a married couple?”

“We might have a love relationship, though we were too young back then.”

“We might end up fighting and hating each other though.”

“Hm. I guess everything was much better this way for us,” he grasped for her hand and intertwined it with his own. “Though I regret it for wasting you in our beginning for being together,” he squeezed her hand softly.

“Hm-mh, everything is better this way,” she squeezed him back.

“By the way, your mother told me that you had a crush in our high school when you’re junior. Who is he?”

“What’s up with that sudden question?” she was blushed and elbowed him lightly on the gut.

“I’m just… curious,” he leaned forward closer to look at her face as she tried to look away from him. “Jagiyah, what’s up with that blushing expression? Do I know him?”

She didn’t answer him yet her face was getting red even more.

“I know him, right?” he squinted and kept teasing her. He was just too curious to not ask.

“I don’t know,” she tried to pulled out from his embrace and covering her face with her hands instead.

“Is he Yoseob?” he pointed out.

Eunji stopped her struggling and loo
