A/N: Okay, I'm gonna be posting another chapter in a few days for you guys becuase it's literally been 2 weeks since my last update >< I'm been sick for over a week and I'm still sick right now actually, but I didn't want you guys to think I fully neglected! Anyway a heads up, next chapter will be much more interesting than this one, I promise!

‘Thank you all for attending this meeting. It has come to my attention that you have all enjoyed this new training system we introduced and we have received satisfying results from all of your instructors. Of course, your extra hard work and training will not go unnoticed by the fans.’ YG Sajangnim smiled. The room stayed silent but all of us idols were looking at each other in question. What exactly did our bosses have in mind?

‘I know it’s a little bit surprising to suddenly hear this, but we have prepared an exclusive crowd of 300 of your fans to come and watch a mini concert, starring all of you.’ SM Sajangnim smiled. ‘You may have noticed that in these last 3 weeks, a few training sessions involved a repetition of learning the same pieces. These will be your performance for the day.’

‘Excuse me, Sajangnim,’ BoA sunbae raised her hand. ‘Are you really sure the kids are ready for it?’

It was a good question. I was sure everyone in the room was thinking the same thing. Being professionals, all of us knew that it shouldn’t be a surprise to have a sudden performance scheduled without our notice, but this was different. It wasn’t like they were asking us to perform a song off our albums, which have had actual practise and lots of time put into them. We weren’t even in our respective groups, and they were expecting us to perform something we probably learnt about 2-3 times?

‘This was already planned as part of this new training system. We are testing how well you are able to pull off what you have learnt in these 3 weeks. You are all professionals who I believe can put on a great show. As for BoA and Se7en, you two will also perform a piece of your choice, since you weren’t actually training under this program, but rather teaching your hoobaes.’ SM Sajangnim nodded.

‘I know you must all feel overwhelmed right now. But this is what we have decided to do in order to test your strengths and abilities. This is just like any other performance you do. You will produce a perfect stage and leave your fans struck in awe. I would now like to brief you all on the details of this concert.’ YG Sajangnim looked around the room to make sure we were paying attention.
’The dancing group will be the opening act, followed by the rap, vocal, instrumental music, acting, and then vocal again. The live show will only run for an hour. You all have exactly 2 hours to make any last minute preparations for your performances. We have arranged all of your stylists to fix you up, and you will meet them in your practise rooms along with your instructors. The set list is now being handed out to all of you right now by the staff. Please review it yourselves and be sure to meet back in this room before 8pm. We know you all have what it takes to put on a good show, so make it worthwhile for the fans who are anticipating this exciting collaboration.’

The announcements had ended and we all clapped, bowed and thanked our bosses. I knew I wasn’t the only one thinking and freaking out about how underprepared we were for this so called live show. I shuffled along with everybody as we made our way to our practise rooms. The elevator could only fit a certain amount of people so we divided ourselves into our category groups. While waiting for our turn, I leaned myself against the wall and sighed. Looking around the area, I noticed no one was talking, but everyone carried the same worried expression. Figures, since our bosses were still within ear shot. The elevator came and my group entered quietly. Lay pushed the button to close the door and the second we started moving, all of our huge outbursts came out at once.

‘I can’t believe they’re forcing us to perform like this!’ I exclaimed, stomping my foot on the ground.

‘HOW DO THEY EXPECT US TO JUST PERFORM? How am I supposed to remember this particular piece?’ Victoria was pointing to the set list sheet. ‘I wasn’t even here for the last time we practised this choreo…’

‘I don’t think we even got to make formations for this one. We just stood wherever we wanted.’ Kai grumbled.

‘This was probably one of the worst choreos we did, since I still can’t get it down pat.’ Sehun mumbled.

We all made our way to our practise room, where our stylists and instructors were waiting for us. Since there were only 2 girls in our group, Victoria and I got our outfits and makeup taken care of first. The instructors were helping the guys out and forming positions for us. While I was getting my makeup on, I kept glancing to see what kind of formations we would use, but my makeup stylist kept pushing my face towards her. We were probably both annoyed. Her because she really had to rush my makeup and hair, and me because I was annoyed at the fact we were so underprepared for this stage. As soon as we were done, we switched places with the guys and our instructors informed Victoria and I where our positions would be. Everyone had finished preparations and there was only half an hour left before we were supposed to head back to the meeting room, so we decided to have a quick run through all together. We each had our solo segments or partner segments and then we would join at the end for a big group dance. I was paired up with Taemin for this particular piece, Lay and Kai were a pair, Victoria and Sehun were a pair, leaving Youngbae Oppa with a solo part. After 2 REALLY short run throughs, we rushed off to the meeting room. In the elevator, no one was speaking. We were all feeling the pressure and wondering what would happen If we failed to put on a good performance. The opening act has to be a big smash for the rest of the performances to fun smoothly after all, so a lot of weight was put on us. As all the groups arrived at the meeting room, it wasn’t long until we were all shuffled off to the area of the stage, which was held just outside the building. A good part of the area had been cut off and I could hear the cheers from the fans. It was exciting yet painful, as it felt like I was about to go up for my debut stage all over again. As we waited for the 10 minutes left until the concert started, I couldn’t help but think to myself what kind of promoting had to be done in order for the fans to believe that YG and SM idols were working together, because something like this never happens. It’s simply a fact that we do not share close bonds....until now I guess. I was fidgeting around with my fingers as I recalled the steps in my head. I felt a sudden warmth on my hand, and turned my head to see Kai.

‘Are you okay?’ He asked.

‘Yeah…’ I mumbled. Of course I wasn’t okay and he knew that, but I know I would’ve asked the same thing.

‘You will be awesome Minzy…2NE1’s maknae always surprises the audience with her dance.’ He smiled.

‘You too.’ I turned my head away to avoid him seeing my possible blushing face. I hated that he looked super-hot in that outfit, with his hair styled and that damn eyeliner…it was hard to concentrate.

I retracted my hand away and walked over to Taemin, who for some reason didn’t have as big of an effect on me with his charms, thankgod. Maybe because his styling was done a bit less intense than Kai’s.

‘Taemin…’ I tugged at his shirt. ‘I’m worried I have the timing off for our spin after the-‘

‘Minji, calm down.’ Taemin grabbed onto my shoulders. ‘We’re professionals. We know what we’re doing.’

‘But I don’t think I-‘

‘Think about it this way.’ He whispered. I watched as his fingers moved up to graze my cheek gently, to which I felt a sense of comfort and ease. He looked at me in a way I couldn’t quite explain.

‘This is just another performance you’re doing for our fans. You’re from 2NE1, which means you know best about having fun on stage. Nolza?’ He gave me a knowing look.

I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding and just like that, I was able to smile and feel better just by looking at his face. We shared a lingering moment, just smiling at each other until I realised where we were.

‘Let’s smash it.’ I nodded, leaning my head away so he knew to let go. Even though I knew Kai was most likely watching us, I still pretended to scan the area and in the corner of my eye I saw him staring at me. God, I’m such an idiot. Obviously, I would have to deal with it later.

‘Cheers to a successful night guys!!’ Chaerin unnie raised her beer. Everybody cheered and joined in as we hit our drinks together. ‘Cheers!!!’

‘Mingkki, I think you stood out the most in your dance performance.’ Dara unnie smiled at me. I chuckled lightly at her and shook my head. ‘I’d only believe it If someone not from 2NE1 said that.’

‘Okay, how about me?’ Luhan who was beside me, grinned.

‘Not you either Oppa.’ I rolled my eyes and took another sip of my beer.

‘You were great though. You and Taemin are a great pair up for dance too. The fans went crazy!!’ Dara unnie waved her hands around in a mini dance.

‘It wasn’t much compared to your awesome skit with Chanyeol.’ I raised my eyebrows. ‘THAT was something the crowd loved more than we anticipated. Do I spy a ship going on there?’

‘Oh Mingkki, stop it!’ She covered her face in embarrassment.

Before I could say anything else, she had hurried off to talk to some others in the room. I looked around the loud, music filled hotel room and couldn’t help but notice Taemin and Kai weren’t here. Yeah, there were others not here, but I disregarded that for now. Some of them obviously must’ve been hanging out in their separate rooms. It was pretty crowded an hour ago when we ALL had to squeeze in one room.

‘Minzy, you’re not hanging out with one of your lover boys right now?’

I turned my head back to the oh so familiar voice of Luhan and pushed him harshly.

‘You make it sound like I’m dating two people.’ I pouted. ‘Why don’t you go and find someone to fall in love with Oppa? Perhaps, even a member from my group?’ I smiled. Luhan only frowned but smiled at me and shook his head.

‘Are you already drunk or what? All of your members have someone they fancy, or fancies them.’

‘Oh yeah, like who?!’ I widened my eyes in surprise.

‘Okay, take for example Dara sunbae. Her and Chanyeol.’

‘Yep yep, that’s an obvious one.’ I waved my hand around, trying to speed him up.

‘Okay, Bom sunbae. I don’t know If she likes anyone, but I know Baekhyun and D.O are quite interested in her personality. You should hear how they talk about her in the dorms.’

‘As If you haven’t told me this before you babo!’ I slapped Luhan’s arm, to which he took my half-finished beer bottle away from my hand.

‘I think you drinking makes you hit people. How much have you had to drink tonight?’ He stuck his tongue out at me.

‘Just….a little? I mean this is only my 4^th beer for the night and I’ve had 2 shots of Soju.’ I shrugged.

 Luhan shook his head in disapproval at me. ‘Okay next we have CL sunbae, and this one is a damn surprising one. Did you know Kris told me he thinks she’s hot? I mean, he never says that about any-‘

‘NO.WAY.’ I exclaimed, shaking my head in disbelief. ‘Wait you’re not serious are you?!’

‘I’m serious. He’s called her hot more than once and said several times that he’s trying to get closer to her.’ Luhan said in a matter of factly tone.

Kris likes Chaerin unnie. Kris likes unnie. He thinks she’s hot...Kris likes Chaerin unnie!!

‘Minzy!’ Luhan waved his hand in front of my face. ‘Why the sudden scary face?’

‘What scary face?’ I asked.

‘…You look like you’ve just acquired a new weapon to kill your enemy with. You look so evil right now.’ He shuddered.

‘Evil what? No I’m not evil. I’m completely normal.’ I sang.  YES. This was GREAT. Well not great, but good. I wasn’t so hooked on the fact that he likes her, but the fact that he LIKES her is what makes him a hypocrite towards me and Kai.

‘Minzy…?’ Luhan called me. ‘Mind telling me what it is you’re up to?’

‘Sorry Oppa. But you’ve just told me some golden news and I will definitely have to return the favour someday, but I’ll explain.’ I grinned. He only nodded slowly, waiting for me to continue.

‘Alright so basically, I meet a beautiful boy named Kim Jongin who by the way is incredibly cute, handsome and hot.’ I smiled, wondering If I shouldn’t have had those last 3 beers because I let all of those adjectives slip out of my mouth. ‘We become good friends and then your freakin leader comes up to me, warns me not to make a move on this dongsaeng of his and claims I’m someone not worthy of going with. THIS pisses me off to no end, but Luhan Oppa I’m SO happy you just said what you did, because that son of a can’t say to me now that I know he has the hots for my leader and-‘

‘Woah woah calm down there Minzy…’ Luhan looked at me with a worried expression. ‘Look, I’m happy I finally get to hear how much you like Kai, but don’t forget there are some people in here that could eavesdrop on our conversation….please don’t swear like that about Kris…maybe If we’re alone you could.’ He stifled a laugh. ‘Are you feeling dizzy at all or?’

‘No no I just let my honest words come out you know…I’m not feeling dizzy.’ I smiled, leaning on Luhan’s shoulder. I suddenly felt my pocket vibrate and I took my phone out to check my notifications. Luhan leaned closer to watch my screen and gasped in excitement, making me look at him in confusion.

‘Bwo?’ I mumbled. He tapped his index finger on my messages icon and opened up a new message I received.

To: Minzy

‘Minzy! Come up to my room. I’m number xxxx. Hurry over okay? ’

From: Kai
