Taeyeon was single and she liked it.
Too many times have guys (and sometimes even girls) tried their hardest to impress her because they wanted to boost their reputation in the social hierachy in and outside of school.
But they weren't fooling her at all.
She knew how simple minded these people were.
Then one day, she finally meets her new coworker Byun Baekhyun, who honestly doesn't seem to be anyone special either.
Oh, how naive she was.
Foreword
Kim Taeyeon was not a romantic.
Her past boyfriends were the reason for this.
She was also not fond of hanging out with girls often.
Her fake friends were the reason for this.
Kim Taeyeon was the center of attention at school and she hated it. She hated being called 'flawless' and 'perfect'. She was sick of being labelled 'the girl that has everything'. All of these just made her a prized product in everyone's eyes and people only approached her because of who they thought she was, not who she actually was. Nobody was interested in getting to know the real her, except for her best and only friend, Chanyeol.
Then one day she meets Byun Baekhyun.
And for once, she was the one who wanted attention.

A/N: Introducing my second time writing a short story for you here on AFF! :) Also give me a pat on the head for not using Minzy for once in a story AHHAHAHAHAHA.
Anyways, so I know Baekyeon is a 50/50 for everyone's tastes but I actually really liked them together and I still think they suit each other. It's just a shame imo so I wanted to reignite my ship for them with this short story. I was suddenly feeling inspired one day at work when I met one of the new guys and this whole scenario came to me all of a sudden :') I told my boyfriend about it and he helped me pick Baekyeon to feature in this story ^^ Hope you enjoy~
