“Baby, what happened? Why are you crying?”

Six years old Seungri looked up at his mother who smiled beautifully at him. “Umma…” He bawled into his mother embrace.

“What’s wrong, baby? Tell Umma…”

“Umma, hyung’s being mean to me. He… He didn’t want to play with me anymore. He said he hates me!”

“Aigoo, my baby.” His mother chuckled as she ruffled his hair, “Your hyung didn’t play with you because he’s busy studying his lesson. I’m sure he didn’t mean what he said. He doesn’t hate you, baby. How could he hate his adorable dongsaeng? You know your hyung always loves you, right?”

The mother smiled seeing the boy nodded his head innocently, “Alright, since your hyung is busy studying, how about you help umma make pancake?”

“Pancake? I love pancake!”

Looking at the picture frame of his mother, Seungri couldn’t help but let his tears wet his handsome face. He misses his mother very much; he used to be very close with his mother; his mother would always take his side and scolded his hyung for bullying him; even sometimes when he’s the one at fault, his mother would just closed one eye and let him go easily. Yeah, maybe that’s the perk of being maknae.

But everything changed when his mother passed away six years ago; he was only eight years old by that time. He’s still so young; all he knew was he wouldn’t have his mother by his side anymore; he wouldn’t have the chance to feel his mother warm embrace anymore; he would never ever felt his mother’s love for him anymore.

And that’s how everything started to fall apart; his father has started growing distance from his boys; he’s never there to comfort his boys from losing their mother as he was too absorbed in his own sadness; he’s never there when his boys needed the father figure the most; he’s never there to care about his boys anymore.
