     Chanyeol stares at the sleeping figure before him and can’t help but be awed. Baekhyun look so peaceful in his sleep. Almost a hundred times more beautiful than the Baekhyun Chanyeol knows. Never in his life had he felt this way to another person before. There’s something in Baekhyun that really attracts him. He wouldn’t deny that at first he was attracted to his physical appearance but the more he got to know him he had the sudden urge to protect Baekhyun. He wonders how Baekhyun can stay so strong fighting life all alone. He himself couldn’t imagine surviving that concept. Sure, he hadn’t fully known Baekhyun and that the shorter guy still holds back from him. But no matter, he's determined to see Baekhyun all the way and he promised to himself that he'll be with the older's side. Forever.

He sighs. When the shorter guy collapsed before him earlier in the restaurant, his heart can only recognize pain. It’s as if he’s the one suffering.

“Baekhyun! Baekhyun!” 

Chanyeol yells loudly gaining a few stares from the other customers inside the restaurant. One waiter rushes to his side ready to reprimand him but stopped after seeing the lifeless form on his arms. 

“Please call for ambulance.” He pleadsto the waiter, panicked written all over his face. The waiter immediately leave and  he returns his attention back to Baekhyun. 'Please be okay', he whispers like a mantra. It did not take long for the waiter to comeback and informs him that the help is on the way. He also politely asked him to bring Baekhyun inside the staff room as to not draw any more attention. Chanyeol complies and carries Baekhyun’s body to the said staff room. He couldn’t help but noticed how light Baekhyun feels on his arms. ‘Why aren’t you taking more care of your body?’

The help came just after a few minutes and Chanyeol watches in pain as the paramedics’ checks on Baekhyun. The body is then carried to the ambulance and he was asked by the ambulance driver (whom Chanyeol recognizes) if he will ride with them on the way back to the hospital. As much as he wants to be with Baekhyun right now, he can’t. He can’t leave his car behind and he still have to settle some things in the restaurant. He declines and told them he’ll go after them taking care of something. The driver gives him a nod in understanding before the amulance drives their way back to the hospital.

Chanyeol went back inside the restaurant and apologize to the staff over and over again for causing such commotion.

“Sir, don’t stress yourself too much about it. Things like that can’t be avoided. No need to apologize.” A man whom he assumes the general manager said.

“I’m really sorry.” He bows again.

After paying the bills in the restaurant, Chanyeol quickly rushed to the hospital. He found himself in front of the information desk and he took a deep breath to calm himself down before stealing the information lady’s attention. He clears his throat as the said lady looked at him, a smile on her face.

“Hello sir Chanyeol. What can I do for you?”

“Hi Pilsuk-noona, a friend of mine was brought here by an ambulance. Jaeho-ahjussi was the driver of the said ambulance.” Although calm on the outside, Chanyeol is all ready to sprint anytime as soon as he gets information about Baekhyun’s whereabouts.

The information lady types a few things on the computer and few seconds later she looks at him. “He’s at room 205, third floor.” Chanyeol is about to run away to go to Baekhyun when Pilsuk spoke again. “But sir, we still haven’t got the full name of your friend and that room 205 is a private room. Since he’s a friend of yours we thought we should give him a more comfortable room. Is it fine we put him there?”

Chanyeol doesn’t care on what room they put Baekhyun in because what intrigues him now is the shorter guy’s full name. Wow. He can’t believe after all these time, they haven’t introduced themselves to each other properly. ‘Way to go Chanyeol, way to go.’ He smiles sheepishly at Pilsuk trying not to look suspicious for not knowing Baekhyun’s full name.

“Uhmm… Baekhyun, Park Baekhyun. That’s his full name.” Chanyeol wanted to smack himself for that but fought with it. He doesn’t know what came on to him to say it. ‘Seriously Chanyeol? That’s the best you can come up with?’ Pilsuk gave her a nod and after mumbling a thank you, he went for the elevator. Finding the room isn’t much of a hassle to Chanyeol since he’s kind of familiar with it. As he arrived at room 205’s door, he heaved a deep breath before calmly turning the door’s knob to let himself in. He immediately spotted Baekhyun on the bed and rushes beside him taking the shorter guy’s left hand.

“It’s nothing serious.” The giant snaps his head to find the source of the voice. He saw one of the hospital’s resident doctor and the said doctor made his way towards him. “Over fatigue. But he’ll be fine.” The doctor continues as if sensing the questions formulating in his head. Relief immediately washes over him and turned back his attention to the sleeping guy.

“Thank you Doctor Lee.” He said without breaking a glance at Baekhyun.

“Anytime Chanyeol. Don’t stress too much, he’ll wake up soon. I’ll leave you now.”

Chanyeol nods and heard the door opens and shut afterwards indicating that they were alone now. He leans a little bit more towards the sleeping Baekhyun and pushed some hair strands away; stares lingering for a while.

“You made me worried so much.” He whispers as he pressed his lips on Baekhyun’s forehead. “Have a good rest.”

Chanyeol wasn’t aware that he had fallen asleep too not until he heard a piercing scream coming from his side. He jolts back to full life, throwing away the groggy feeling when he realized that it is Baekhyun's voice. The shorter guy is hyperventilating and  question’s like where am I?, why am I here?, what happened? are thrown to him. A constant ‘ohmygod' can also be heard clearly.

Chanyeol panicks for a moment, not knowing what to do. But then he calms himelf down when realized that it won’t do any good if he matches Baekhyun's antics. He hold the patient’s shoulders and squeezes it. “Relax Baekhyun.” He gives the shorter guy a reassuring smile and luckily Baekhyun did and he calmed down a few seconds after.

“Where am I?” That was Baekhyun’s first question to him.

“The hospital?” It came out more like a question than a statement. He’s pretty sure it won’t take for a sane person to recognize a room like this.

“I know that!” Baekhyun snaps. “What I meant is, what am I doing in a room like this?”

Chanyeol saw how Baekhyun gave the room a look over and he's not sure anymore what response he should give to the latter. “Because you’re sick and you need a room to rest?” That's the best thing he could come up with.

Baekhyun started his ‘ohmygod’ fit again. 

“Baekhyun, calm down.” 

Still not complying. 

“Baekhyun! Baekhyun!” 

He shook Baekhyun but again the latter still hasn’t calm down.

“BAEKHYUN!”

Chanyeol’s voice echoed throughout the whole room which earnsBaekhyun’s attention. Finally. He clears his throat and spoke once again, this time in a softer manner. “Baekhyun, tell me what the actual problem is.” He regretted asking that as soon as he saw Baekhyun lowered his head and tears rolling down from the patient’s cheeks.

“I’m going to jail.”  Baekhyun mumbles. sniffing.

“Baekhyun, what are you talking about?” He heard Baekhyun sniffed again.

 “I’m going to jail Chanyeol. I don’t have money to pay for this. Oh god! What am I going to do?”

If it’s some other time or case, Chanyeol would be laughing his off right now with that statement. But this is Baekhyun, and he’s crying. He couldn’t help but feel bad too. So instead of laughing, he did what he thinks Baekhyun needed the most right now. A hug.

“Shhhhh. Don’t cry.” He whispers softly. “You’re not going to jail. I can assure you that.”

“But I don—“

“This is my family’s hospital. We own this place. I’m going to care of it.” He cuts Baekhyun to it. He touched the patient’s cheeks and made him look at him. They stared at each other for a while as Chanyeol wipes Baekhyun tears. “Just don’t worry about it. Sleep for now Baekhyun. You need a good rest.” He motions Baekhyun to lie down on the bed again. When Baekhyun complied, he pulls the blanket up to the patient’s chest and leaned down to kiss his forehead again.“Sleep.” He said once more. Baekhyun nods and closed his eyes. “I’ll go outside if you’re not comfortable with me being around.” He turn around to go outside but Baekhyun stops him.

“Stay.”

Chanyeol heart skips a beat when he heard that one word. He smiles and walks back to Baekhyun again, sitting on the same chair he was earlier. He snatches Baekhyun’s hand and give it an assuring squeeze. 

“I’m just here if you'll need anything.”

First of all I want to apologize for updating so slow. >< No, I'm not busy, it's just that I'm too lazy to write. lol. Please forgive me. *puppy eyes* But on the bright side, here's an update. haha. I know this chapter kind of (i mean all chapters so far, who am i kidding?) but this is such an important scene so we'll be able to take BaekYeol's relationship into the next level... :> And lol at Park Baekhyun.. ><

Secondly, about my other new other fanfic, I"m sorry if I haven't posted a chapter yet. I'm plotting it carefully coz I want it to be kind of unique. What am I talking about??? OTL But anyway, it'll probably start on the first week of February. --- Also I'm plotting another side story for Back for You. But nothing's sure yet but I'll keep you posted.
