Jessica glared at Yuri the moment she ended her video call with Tiffany

'Whoops?'

Yuri looked at Jessica innocently. 

'I told you to keep quiet and stay behind the computer didn't I?'

'Sorry. Can I make it up to you? Is there something you want to do? Some place you want to visit? I mean, our parents just left for their golf session and your sister's out. What do you suggest?'

Yuri has a point. The pair had chosen to stay behind because they couldn't decide what to do next. She only invited Yuri into the room because she didn't want the older girl to feel bored sitting in the living room alone while waiting for her to finish the video call. She made Yuri promise not to utter a word or appear in front of the computer because she didn't want Tiffany to question or .

'I don't feel like going anywhere.'

She replied.

'Oh.'

Yuri answered. Disappointment can be heard through her voice.

'I…I should be going then. I don't want to intrude or anything.'

She continued

'Where are you going?'

Jessica asked the girl

'Home? You said you don't like going anywhere.'

'That doesn't mean you have to go right?'

'Huh?'

'I was thinking if we could just stay indoors today. Have a movie marathon or watch a whole season of TV dramas? If you don't have any other plans for today.'

Yuri couldn't help but smile at the suggestion. She really enjoyed Jessica's company. She had such a great time with the girl the day before. Heck, she barely even slept after her father told her that they were going to have brunch at the Jungs. Today was going to be better than yesterday.

'So how was your weekend?'

'Huh?'

'You were totally MIA this weekend. Are you still angry that I forgot to tell you I couldn't make it?'

'Yeah. I met Taeyeon and her friend on Saturday. We didn't call you cause we thought you might still be pissed. I know Taeyeon went out with Tiffany yesterday cause she called me last night and was all giggly. We tried to have a conference call with you but you didn't pick up your phone.'

Taeyeon and Sunny asked the taller girl

'Oh. Just the normal busy weekend. Had brunch with my dad at his business partner's home. Are you feeling better? Have you talked to her yet?'

Yuri asked Sunny about her Hyomin situation

'…I don't know. I'm not ready yet.'

'Fill me in about you and Tiffany then!'

Yuri spent the next half an hour listening to Taeyeon updating her about what happened the day before. Sunny who already knew every detail kept commenting each time Taeyeon forgot a detail or two. Yuri couldn't help but be happy for Taeyeon. The girl was definitely in love. It was obvious and there was no point denying it.

'There you guys are. What did I miss?'

Hyoyeon interrupted their session. 

'Taeyeon's updating her on her love life.'

'Ohhhh. Interesting. Do share.'

'I'm not going to repeat myself! Sunny can give you a summary.'

'She's dating her bus crush.'

Sunny summarized it really shortly.

'Woah. About time. It's the last week of school anyway. Anyway…..I think there's someone waiting to talk to you.'

Hyoyeon pointed at a figure that had her back against the wall.

'Give her a chance. She told me everything. She stopped being friends with the girls.'

Hyoyeon told the girl before nudging Yuri and Taeyeon.

'Ah, I just remembered I need to get my sports shoes from the locker.'

Yuri stood up.

'Oh. I need to meet Tiffany in a bit. I should go now'

Taeyeon excused herself. 

The three of them walked away together leaving Sunny sitting on the bench alone. Sunny stared at the figure that was starting to walk towards her. She stood up from the bench, turning around and was about to leave when she heard a plea.

'I…I'm really sorry. Please don't leave.'

Hyoyeon had her arms around Yuri's shoulder as the three of them walked towards the school gate. 

'How was your date on Saturday?'

Hyoyeon asked causing both Yuri and Taeyeon to stop in their tracks

'Huh? I didn't have a date.'

Taeyeon responded

'Not you. I'm talking about Yul. Saw her and the girl that was here last weekend for our carnival at the theaters. Nic and I were buying our tickets when we saw you coming out from main exit.'

'Huh? Is that true? A girl that was here last weekend?'

Yuri was too shocked to say a word.

'Yeah. Your bus crush's best friend. What's her name again? J….Jessica?'

'WHAT?!' 

Taeyeon almost shouted. She was about to ask Yuri but the girl was already sprinting towards the bus stop.

'My bus is here!' 

Yuri waved at them and boarded the bus that was about to pull out.

'Woah.  Does she even know that she took the wrong bus?'

Hyoyeon pointed out. Taeyeon was still trying to piece everything together while Yuri was glad that she managed to avoid questioning. Little did she know that she had taken the wrong bus. Taeyeon quickly took out her phone and sent a text to Tiffany asking if the girl had any idea about their best friend's secret meetings.
