Oh my neck is sore. Should have sleep at the bed.. tsc. What ever, I’m too tired to complain. Let’s sleep more ____. Kaja… you said in your mind.

                I open my eyes to find Minseok staring straight at me. hey wait, what is this position???

You quickly seat up after noticing what just happened. “what were you doing?” you said between your hands which rubbing your face sleepily.

                “Uhmm? Me?... nothing. Just brushing your hair^^ “ Minseok spokes.

“How in the world was I sleeping soundly on your lap a while ago?” you said irritate.

                “I position you on my lap since dawn. I felled bad noticing you doze off while seating.”

“Why would you care anyway. Uhmm.. where’s Jee?” you ask inspecting the room for your best friend.

                “She had been long awake, babe. Here..” he give you, your bag. “You should freshen up, we need to get home on the afternoon.”  With that he walks out leaving you alone so that you can change or whatever.

Huh… what a life of mine. Jisun huffs out a long sigh looking at the sky.

                “Stop staring would you, ____?” you’re there all along. But you kept quiet and stay hidden. Unfortunately, aaa- jinja! I'm busted   she knows you better. “Are you angry with me, bestie?”

“Ani…” you took the seat beside her gloomy. “Do I look like I’m angry at you?”

 Jee let out a chuckle and respond with a shake of her head. “But I’m hating you for this, alright.” You too then look up at the sky lying down in front of your orbs.                                                                Absorbing the silent atmosphere, you both lost in your thoughts that you didn’t notice the time. It has been _{nearly half an hour} that you both stay in silent.

                “____-ah. I never thought that the both of us would come to this. When we were in elementary school, I’d promise to be loyal to you. Remember? *she let a tear drop*  ……since promises didn’t made for us to keep. With the no secrets between besties. Disallowing lying or what so ever. I didn’t know that I ended up did every single things that we agree not to do. Hell of a friendship I torn off.” You just pull in her petite body into your embrace as the time you hear her. Patting her head, smoothing her hair to assure her that everything's okay. You know it hurts that she even blurred out an incoherent word in this matter.

                “Yah…you better find new friends, nae? This bad friend doesn’t have the rights to be your one and only from the start anyway. I know one of the reasons you stay out of society is me. So..you should drop all of that and find a new life, arasso.. don’t live in the past where you dejected the present. You know what I mean?”

And everything she said made you tighten your hug while she tug to your arms baring the pain. I know...

“Yes I understand every word. But just shut the crap. I’m not giving you a permission to talk about this. It should’ve been me who's yelling and screaming like crazy. Not you, got that?!”

You both sobs quietly, feeling secure in the hug. “Don’t leave me alone, Hwang Jisun. You’re the only person I’d been leaning on to after my grandpa. So I’m not letting you go like what had happen-” you just take a deep breath after you can’t hold the pool of tears."I don't care that you lied to me, you deceive me, acting like you find and everything... I'm fine. Don't be sorry to me." you let out a heavy sigh, to avoid crying. “..just stay with me, Jisun-ah. Let me be in pain so that we can still be bestie. Just burden me with anything.. bu..tt don’t- don’t. NEVER leave me.”

                Jee nods noticing the drops of tears on her right shoulder that stain her hospital gown. She’s not God to organize everything about her life and her bestie. But she promises anything just to lights up a smile on you. No one knows their fate, she just hopes that she can stay and heal your scars.

“Here.. wear this, okay? Your bangs keep falling out of place. It might get in your eyes.” You clips in your present on her crown.

                “Gomawo, ____-ah. I’ll cherish this with my soul.” You smile bitterly looking at her who now looking down to earth. Probably avoiding eyes with you.

“Oh there you are..” Minseok spoke up “about time I found the both of you. Come- let’s get back to your room. You need to take your medicine, young lady.” He comes over and starts to pull Jisun’s wrist. Bothf of you giggle whole heartedly since the ahjumma has arrives. It’s always been like this ever since you three become friends.

                “aaa- Shiro. I want to stay here with ____.” She let out a laugh but then giving him a sad look to tell him she’s protesting. She really hates hospital and all those pills.

Without further ado, you stand up making Jee surprise. “He’s right.. kaja^^ you need to take them if you want to stay with me, right?” you look down into her eyes sending a reassuring smiles. “You promise to stay longer. So come on. You just gobble them and I take the pain, okay?”

                Jee look at you sadly but she just nods off and get on her feet. “Since you say that, okay.. kaja.” With that she walks off leaving you tailing your eyes to her back figure. I do anything for you, bestie.. Minseok who already pulling Jee, looks at you from distance with meaningful stare.

“Jee, whatever happen.. I never leave you.”        “*crying endlessly* you promise?”

You nod in return showing your pinky.. “Promise…”
