Jaejoong stood there just staring at their newly arrived guest, at first he was clueless at who this towering guy could be, but then he smiled and bowed and saw the resemblance already.

 

“Annyeongaseyo... sunbaenim!” the guy greeted as he gave a 90 degree bow

 

“Aigoo... why are you so late Gaet-doong-ah...” Dara stated patting the back of her brother lightly as she showed him where to sit

 

“I just finished my schedule... didn’t I tell you I’ll come after it?” Cheondung stated with a smile and handed Jae a bottle of wine

 

“Ah... neh... this is for your collection” Cheondung smiled and was a bit shy

 

“AHAHAHAHAHA! Kamsahamnida!” Jae stated as he put the bottle of wine at the counter

 

“Have you eaten yet?” Dara asked as she was already preparing a small meal for her brother being helped by her husband

 

“Ah... wait... introductions first... stand” Dara stated as she waited for her brother to stand and fixed his clothing

 

“Cheondung-ah... this is my nampyeon... Kim Jaejoong... uri nampyeon this is my younger brother Park Sanghyun”

 

“Nice to meet you, sunbaenim” Cheondung stated with a bow and shook Jae’s outstretched hand

 

“Nice to meet you too... AHAHAHAHAHA, you are tall! You can call me hyung, after all I am your sister’s husband...AHAHAHAHAHA” Jae uttered

 

“I am such a fan of you... hyung...hehehehe” Cheondung tried to restrain himself from fanboying over his brother in law

 

“Do you want something to drink? Water or juice?” Jae asked as he stood up and went to the kitchen

 

“Water will do... hyung” Cheondung replied with a smile, “Ah... noona... how was your housewarming today?”

 

“It was fun! You should’ve joined us earlier... we played some games... although the girls lost... still it was fun!” Dara replied as she handed Cheondung a small plate of deokbokki and some kimchi

 

“Whoa?! Did you cook this noona?”

 

“Ani... that is Jae’s cooking... I cooked sinigang!” Dara whispered

 

“Cheongmal?! Was it a success?” Cheondung directed the question to Jae who was brining him some water

 

“It was delicious!” Jae gave a thumbs up, Cheondung just rolled his eyes upward thinking that whatever his noona cooks Jae would find it delicious

PD: Dara left for a while... what did you two do alone?

 

CHEONDUNG: it was a bit awkward at first... I am just like my sister, especially around strangers and whenever I am just by myself without my members... but then he talked to me seriously and I talked to him seriously as well... and I looked at him truly as a brother in law rather than a sunbaenim I look up to...

MC3: this feels nerve wracking... I don’t know why I feel nervous for Jae then?

“AHAHAHAHAH! This is awkward” Jae uttered as the two were left alone in the living room while Dara had to step out for awhile, she got a call from the company

 

“Ah... neh... hyung... I heard she cried” Cheondung uttered all of a sudden, catching Jae off guard

 

“Um... you see... that was... it was just... um... how do I say this? Um... I needed to find a way for her to open up and say everything that is on her mind... cause, I get the feeling that she is the type that silently endures everything... and I want to know what she really feels and open up naturally” Jae struggled to explain trying to avoid Cheondung’s eyes

 

“That’s right... I just worried over her that time, cause even at our house she seems worried and sad that time...  I didn’t know what was going on... until she told me about it and cried again... honestly at that time... I didn’t get why you did it? But after giving it some thought... I felt like it was one of the ways to help her open up like that... thank you for taking care of noona... I can see how you protect her and I thank you for always thinking of her safety... kamsahamnida” Cheondung stated with a small smile

 

“Ah... neh, it is what I am supposed to do as her husband right? So... does she really have a lot of fanboys?” Jae asked

 

“You bet hyung!!! I have my hands full always guarding and protecting noona from them... especially in year-end awards...” Cheondung stated as if whining to his real brother in law about his hardships being the guardian of Dara

 

“Ah... Cheongmal?! Aish... it looks like I have my hands full... now that they are actively promoting their new singles... for sure they will be performing in year-end programs again... I have to go to that recording tomorrow!” Jae stated determinedly

 

“Chincha hyung?! You need some help?” Cheondung was shocked but asked him if it was okay

 

“Sure... I need all the support I can get... but aren’t you busy with your guestings and promotions?” Jae asked now sitting side by side and closer

 

“Ani... I have the day off tomorrow... so I am free hyung!” Cheondung smiled feeling at ease now that they feel comfortable around each other.

 

After awhile of talking about what they were going to do once they arrived at the studio tomorrow...

 

“Really... is the call really taking that long?” Jae wondered as he stood up and tried to walk towards the door

 

“Hyung... I think she is just giving us time to talk among ourselves then” Cheondung stated as he also stood and followed Jae to the door.

 

Jae opened the door and found the hallway empty...

 

“She’s not there...hmmmm I wonder where she went?” Jae asked as the two of them went inside and continued their plan.

 

“Hyung...what do you plan to do tomorrow? What time are we meeting up?”

 

“Can we meet at the coffee shop at around 1pm? I have something to show you.”

 

“1pm? Ah neh... sure hyung... tomorrow they are recording for inkigayo... I think it’s their last performance of falling in love hyung”

 

“Cheongmal? What could we possibly ask her to do then?”

 

“A mission... mission... hahahahaha... I think she will really stress over it until their performance...”

PD: how was it like talking to your brother in law?

 

CD: in the beginning it was really awkward... but once he asked about the fan boys... I know we are one and the same with thinking that we need to protect Dara noona from fan boys and their advances... and since noona is married to hyung... and hyung is very protective of noona... I think I can trust him with noona.

JAE: Aigoo... at first was really awkward... I don’t know why... but then when I started asking about those fan boys of hers... the wall between crumbled and we immediately became brothers... and since I have grown only with noonas... I am finding that having a younger brother is really the best, especially when it comes to protecting your wife.

MC1: Aigoo... Cheondung really dotes on his sister that much

 

MC2: those two... while looking at them slouching together on the sofa and looking intently at each other... it’s like they are planning something sinister

 

MC3: ahahahahaha, I wonder where Dara went?

“Aigoo... why is it taking so long? Is it heavy traffic over there?” Dara wondered by herself as she waited impatiently at the reception of the building where their apartment was located.

 

She was waiting for something or someone to arrive, as she walked to and fro and kept looking at her cellphone for any new messages.

 

Finally a van was slowing down in front of the entrance as Dara’s face shone brightly and instantly welcomed the passenger of the newly arrived van.

 

“Aigoo... mianhaeyo... for meeting you like this... I know I should have met you formally... but since it is a surprise for nampyeon... thank you for coming... Annyeonhaseyo... Park Sandara-imnida.” Dara greeted the elder politely as Jae’s mom hugged her immediately

 

“Aigoo... uri Joongie has married well... you are pretty...and very caring...thank you Dara-ah” omma stated while patting Dara’s back

 

“You’re welcome ommonim... Jae would be surprised! I do hope they are both okay to be left alone!” Dara stated as she guided omma towards the elevator.

 

“How come appa didn’t come with you?” Dara asked as she ushered omma in the elevator and punched the floor number.

 

“Aigoo... yeobo is  busy tending to our grandchildren, I wanted to meet uri Joongie’s wife and I’m so glad you called us and you even sent someone to pick us up... but then our grandchildren arrived last minute, so yeobo decided to stay, but he really wanted to meet you Dara-ah... he wanted you to have this... uri Joongie’s baby blanket” omma handed it over to her then looked at her worriedly

 

“Oh don’t worry, it’s been washed” omma stated with a smile

 

“Hehehehehe... arasso ommonim...c’mon ommonim... Jae will be surprised to see you, he is with my brother, Sanghyun” Dara smiled as she directed omma to their unit

 

“Oh... the Thunder Cheondung?” omma uttered which shocked Dara, because she didn’t expect omma to know about her brother

 

“Durami? Right? Is she also there?” omma asked

 

“Aniyo... only my brother ommonim” Dara smiled as she slowly opened the door to their unit

MC1: Jae’s mom is so cuddly!

 

MC2: and she’s sweet... I’d like to see the appa as well

 

MC3: what would happen when they meet?

 

MC4: what would Jae’s reaction be if he sees his mother!

“Oh... someone is at the door hyung!” Cheondung called out to Jae who was in the kitchen fixing themselves something to drink.

 

“Who is it? Mind getting it for me?” Jae stated as he tried to pour out their juice drinks in a glass

 

Cheondung went to the door and was opened by his sister Dara.

 

“Oh... Annyeong... Jae! We have a guest!” Dara called out.

 

Jae peeked out and the moment he saw who it was, he came running towards the door and hugged his mother ever so tightly.

PD: so Dara-sshi surprised you with a visit from your mother

 

JAE: yeah, I remember getting a bit teary eyed, seeing omma. It was really a breath of fresh air. We had fun that day, all thanks to my thoughtful wife, for bringing omma there.

 

PD: a family reunion?

 

JAE: yeah, you could say that... it was really refreshing to see her with Dara, and brother in law... we have conspired to join our forces in protecting Dara from fan boys!

MC1: ahhh, it is said here in the note... that to give privacy to the parents of Jae, they asked if we could not air that certain episode

 

MC2: ahhh, Cheongmal...  ye... we understand the private time they needed to be with their parents and family.

 

MC3: so... their next mission is Jae and CHeondung invades the studio  program?

 

MC4: ah, majayo... that’s true.. I wonder what will happen then?
