So, just as Taemin had told Kai; he didn’t have much time for him the next couple of weeks. He felt as if he was even busier than ever at school, and the small amount of spare time he got, consisted mainly of more studying. He was the kind of guy, who never waisted one moment on preparing for his exams, since he knew that it was something that couldn’t be redone, and he didn’t wish for anything in the world to fail any of his subjects – he knew that it would make his father quite angry if that happened.

So instead of hanging out with Kai every day, like Taemin wanted to do, he went directly home to study. He might invite Key over to help him with a few things, and maybe talk, but he wouldn’t dare inviting Kai over – first, his parents shouldn’t know about him, and secondly, Taemin was afraid that there would be more making out than studying.

“So… How’s you and Jonghyun moving along?” asked Taemin carefully, as he was trying to focus on solving some math for his last exam, which would be in a few days. However, he quickly wished that he hadn’t asked his “umma”, as Key’s eyes lit up like some firework.

“Oh! I never thought you’d ask!” Key exclaimed, turning to look at Taemin with a wide smile, “We’re doing great! We even had twice already! He’s really straightforward!”

“O-Oh…” Taemin stuttered, feeling his cheeks grow hot. He definitely didn’t need to hear that, especially since he now thought, that he and Kai were going really slowly, so he just lowered his head a little bit.

“Ah, sorry Taemin,” sighed Key as he found out that he might have said a little too much, especially when he thought about the fat, that Taemin had been not long ago, “I-I forgot about it… The thing…”

“It’s okay,” Taemin said quickly, shooting Key a smile, “I’ve almost forgot myself, too… It’s been… More than three weeks now, right?”

“But still… You must be terrified about it?” Key said, biting his lower lip, “D-Do you even see those guys at school anymore?”

“Ah…” Taemin said, looking a little bit down, “T-They’re rarely at school, and when they are, they walk about a meter around me… Avoiding me.”

“That’s good, right?” Key grabbed a cookie from the package of chocolate cookies they were sharing – a small snack for their studying; it was from their mom, since she knew how much Key loved cookies.

“I guess…” sighed Taemin, “But some of the girls at school are really curious now. Asking what me and Kai’s relationship is, since they apparently think he’s extremely hot!” The words escaped Taemin’s lips like some kind of small growl of a small hint of jealousy. He didn’t like to think about, that a lot of the pretty girls at school had some kind of small crush on Kai – he didn’t like it one bit!

“What did you tell them, then?”

“I-I just said that we were friends,” murmured Taemin as he calmed a bit down, “I don’t want to ruin Kai’s reputation even more.”

“Ah, I see…” sighed Key as Taemin went back to studying for a short moment. However, there really was something, that Key still wanted to know about his and Kai’s relationship. Yes, he did know that they were lovers by then, and that they were seriously in love. But with what happened those weeks ago, made Key slightly worried about the whole thing.

Especially since Kai seemed to be quite more… Straightforward than Taemin was.

“But… I guess you didn’t have yet?” Key asked, as he couldn’t really stop himself from doing it. Taemin’s cheeks just grew completely red in embarrassment over the question. Even though Key had informed him, that he and Jonghyun had already had , Taemin still thought it was a bit awkward to talk to Key about such things – maybe it was just because he was a little bit shy at times?

“N-No… We didn’t,” Taemin murmured, trying a bit to hide his red cheeks by looking down, making Key smirk a little bit.

“Eh? But you want to have with him, I can see it on your face!” Key said with a sly smirk, leaning a bit against his best friend, who just leaned shyly away from him.

“M-Maybe I want… I mean, he’s my boyfriend, and I do love him…” sighed Taemin, carefully turning his head to look at Key, “But really… I’m just so nervous! What if I do something wrong, or leave a bad impression on him?”

Key couldn’t help but smile a bit at Taemin’s words as he gently his hair, trying to calm his best friend down a bit. He knew how he felt – he had felt the same when he had his first time a few years back.

“It’s very difficult to do something wrong when having , Taemin… Your instincts kind of lead you,” the umma started explaining, “You can easily feel where it feels good to be touched, and where it feels less good.”

“B-But… W-What if he thinks my body is ugly or disgusting?” Taemin stuttered, feeling his cheeks grow hot again when he thought about having with Kai, “W-What if I turn him off?”

“Honestly, I don’t think he cares about what your body looks like when he’s ,” Key laughed softly, making Taemin whine a little bit in displeasure as he scooped away from his umma, still feeling uncomfortable about the subject.

“But Taemin, you’re not ugly, I’m sure he’s told you that already?”

“M-Many times, yes…” sighed Taemin, looking a bit down, “I miss him so much, umma.”

Key wrapped an arm around Taemin’s shoulder and pulled him closer, kissing his head lovingly, “You’ll be able to see him soon, Taeminnie. In a few days, you’ll be having your last exam, and then you’ll be having your vacation.”

“B-But… Key, can I ask you a favor?”

“Of course! What is it?” Key smiled, making Taemin bite his lower lip softly.

“I-In this vacation… Since my parents don’t know about Kai…”

“You want me to cover for you if you’re having a small sleepover at his house, eh?” smirked Key, winking at his son, “Don’t worry, baby. I got your back.”

“I-It’s not like that!” protested Taemin, even though his bright, red cheeks had already given him away.

“You’re welcome!”

Well, that was just one of their weird conversations about Taemin’s relationship. Key seemed surprisingly interested in knowing everything that they were doing! And he couldn’t help but smirk evilly when Taemin told him about the day, where they had been really close to having – the day they had been making out in Taemin’s bed while his parents were away. Taemin hated to admit it, but as the days had gone by, ever since that day where they made out, he had just wanted to have with Kai even more. He had seen a slightly Kai in front of him – now he just longed after seeing a completely needy, Kai.

Yes, .

That’s the word Taemin used to describe Kai in his dreams.

The boy couldn’t help but wonder, if Kai actually thought about him at least as much as Taemin thought about him? He didn’t care if he didn’t think of him while doing naughty things, but it clearly would make the elder happy to know.

Oh, Taemin had actually even been at the hospital a few times, too. He had to get checked up once in a while, which was very, very awkward. Because checking up meant bending over, and let some nurses check out how your has been healing lately.

It was something he needed to have done, if he wanted to have with Kai – since he was indeed homoual. Something the nurses and doctors had found out already.

Luckily, it seemed way better than when he was hospitalized, which made Taemin really, really happy, and he could then finally go to his last exam with a wide smile on his lips, knowing that he could finally get laid, very soon.

As you can hear, Taemin had been doing a lot of things while he had been away from Kai. It was still bugging him that they were barely in contact. Yes, they had been texting each other a few times every day, but it still wasn’t enough! He missed Kai’s very plump lips so much! He felt like pulling his hair out.

Taemin’s frustration could clearly be seen in his texts to his boyfriend, as they were now cheesier than ever!

Their texts almost made Kai’s gang members throw up when they read their messages over Kai’s shoulder. The gang leader didn’t care about it though, he liked being cheesy with Taemin, and it always made him smile or even laugh.

Sometimes, it even made him blush, just because he started thinking about him – thinking about being with him. His beautiful, bright smile that could light up Kai’s day no matter what had happened.

The gang leader let out a deep sigh as he fell backwards onto his bed once again, having a very short break from what he had been doing ever since Taemin said that he wouldn’t have too much time for him while studying for his finals.

A lot of unfamiliar words, that seemed too far away, were running through his head, making him dizzy and giving him a horrible headache. He was so close to giving up on the whole thing, but he knew that he would definitely regret it later.

“Kai, we’re continuing now,” said a voice in Kai’s door to his bedroom, making him groan slightly in frustration since he just wanted to rest. It was past ten o’clock already.

“Yah… Joonmyeon hyung, I just want to sleep,” he murmured, rolling onto his stomach and trying to keep sleeping. The name was also something that seemed so very far away – he coul barely remember how to pronounce it anymore.

“Don’t use my real name like that,” frowned Suho as he pushed his gang leader lightly, making him roll onto his side instead on his stomach. Kai just smirked up at Suho.

“Or else, what?” he asked.

“Or else, I’ll use your real name, too! Even in front of your princess!”

“D-Don’t you dare!” exclaimed Kai with wide eyes as he quickly stood up, facing his slightly tinier hyung, “I-I wont let you use it in front of him!”

Suho just sighed and rolled his eyes slightly, “He still can’t remember you, huh?”

Kai looked slightly down, frowning a little bit, “I-It’s okay… He’ll remember eventually, right?” he said, looking a bit at his hyung again, “H-He… He hasn’t forgotten me, has he?” Kai’s words made Suho’s heart hurt slightly as he put his hand comfortingly on his gang leader’s shoulder, smiling a bit at the younger.

“I’m sure he hasn’t forgotten you, how can he?” Suho smiled, patting the younger’s shoulder a few times, making him smile happily at his hyung.

“Now, shall we get back to work?” Suho asked with a small smirk, making Kai lose his smile immediately as he groaned loudly in frustration.

“Hyuuung!” he protested.

“You’ll regret it later, if you don’t do this!”

“I know, I know…”

They both sighed in unison as they walked together to Kai’s livingroom, where Kyungsoo, Luhan, Xiumin, and this time Lay, too, sat – waiting for Kai’s return. The gang leader smiled weakly, tiredly at them.

“It wont take long, we promise! You have to be well rested for tomorrow, right?” smirked Luhan as he sent his gang leader a small wink. Tomorrow was the day, when Kai would finally be seeing Taemin again, since he was having his last exam.

“Y-Yeah…” Kai muttered, blushing like mad as he sat down next to his friends.

Kai hadn’t been doing anything special. Well, his behavior had been quite unusual for the last weeks – he had been spending very much time with Suho, Kyungsoo and Luhan only. Sometimes Xiumin, and now Lay, joined them.

Like… Kai had been with them for about sixteen hours a day, not even coming out from his small apartment, and none of the other gang members knew what was going on, and it was probably better that they didn’t, since they would just think Kai had gotten insane.

Even though he was just too deeply in love to leave Taemin unprotected.

So it was really his only choice, if he wanted this to succeed.

About 3-4 weeks have passed now, since Kai and Taemin last saw each other, huehuehue. 

This is really the only way I knew how to skip those weeks quickly, since I doubt that you would LOOOVE to read about all those things Taemin had been studying for his finals.~ =u=''
