"Clear up your plan for tomorrow. I'll pick you up." Seul-ki muttered her breath, sweeping the floor angrily. She got angry when she found a paper on the floor, that she swept it with such force that the broom slipped off her hand, nearly hitting Myungsoo who was cleaning the windows.

"Yah! You're crazy or something?" He screamed, looking at her with disbelieved eyes.

Seul-ki pouted and furrowed. "I'm sorry..."

"What's up with you today? You're all agitated." He said, resuming to his work while watching Seul-ki picked up the broom and started sweeping again.

"Nothing..." She sighed. "I don't want to go home."

"Wae yo? Did you get into a fight with Halmeoni because you got fired?" He let out a mock chuckle.

"No..." She glared at Myungsoo before looking at her watch and freaked out. "Myungsoo-yah, can you please, please let me go today?"

He frowned. "Then you're leaving me here? I'm not even done cleaning this side of the windows."

"Please! I need to go somewhere today!" She begged, making a miserable face.

"You're going somewhere?"

"Yes..."

"Where to?" He looked at her, trying to figure out whether she was lying or not.

"Somewhere..." She sighed again, looking down on the floor.

"With whom?"

"My future husband." She looked up at Myungsoo who looked at her for a moment before he furrowed again.

"Where exactly? In your laptop? On your wall? In the CD's photobooklet?" He scoffed.

"I'm not lying!" She wailed. "Whether you trust me or not, I'm going home!"

She threw the broom down, took her bag and ran out of the class, with Myungsoo shouting after her. She literally ran back home, and she was almost breathless when she saw Kim Sunggyu standing in front of her house, looking bored. He was wearing a weird shirt under his jacket and his jeans were so fancy. His hands were inside the pocket of his jeans, and he looked as if he was posing for a photo shoot. He saw her and his face changed to a scowl for a split minute before he smiled.

"There you are."

Seul-ki walked closer and felt her heart beating rapidly. "I'm sorry I'm a bit late. I was on duty..."

"It's okay. Do you want to... go change?" Sunggyu was looking down on her skirt, which to him was awfully short; revealing her pale thighs, with her socks covered her legs up to her knees. Seul-ki looked down herself as well, following Sunggyu's eyes; feeling disturbed.

"Are we going somewhere?"

"Yeah, let's talk someplace else." He was still looking down her skirts.

"I'll go in and change then." She said, rapidly and went into her house.

Sunggyu was looking at her until she disappeared into the house. "Tsh... Doesn't she feel cold in that skirt? Gee...What's up with kids these days? Might as well walk around in your only."

Seul-ki walked out wearing jeans and a thick jumper and she stood awkwardly in front of him.

"Ready?"

She nodded promptly.

They took a train to the city, and walked a bit more till they reached a cafe. Seul-ki was stiff, not offering any word to him; Sunggyu was always walking ahead of her, sometimes forgetting that she was trailing behind. When they had sat down in the cafe and ordered their drinks, Sunggyu took a deep breath and looked at her.

"You don't want to get married to me, am I right?"

That was fast, she thought. She nodded, and then she shook her head. Sunggyu was looking at her strangely then. She couldn't decide which gesture was correct to the question so she answered, "No, I don't want to."

"Good, me neither." His tone was really matter-of-fact, and he was nodding to himself. "Then let's get this straight. I only agreed to get married because of reason."

"Money?" She blurted out.

Sunggyu didn't reply her.

"You're gay."

"Yah!" He snapped, and saw as Seul-ki was puffing her cheeks, trying to hold back her laugh. Sunggyu shut his eyes to content his anger before looking at her.

"So it's money?" She asked again, still smiling giddily.

Sunggyu looked at her with a straight face. "Yeah. My father would kick me off the list of I don't marry you."

"Ah. But your father, he doesn't even know me? I don't understand why... I'm not even a daughter of some CEO or anything... If this was a drama, it wouldn't make sense..." Her voice trailed off.

"He must've heard about you from Halmeoni. But I really don't get why either..." Sunggyu thought hard but couldn't make ends meet.

"So then, we need to fail this?"

"Yes. Tell your Halmeoni that you don't want to marry me." He said, lazily.

"I did. Many times." She sighed.

Sunggyu got annoyed for no reason when she said that. "Try harder."

Seul-ki pouted at him in anger. "Halmeoni is stubborn. She won't listen to me..."

Sunggyu sighed and sat up straight. "We have to think of some way..."

"You tell Halmeoni that you don't want to marry me." She said, looking straight at Sunggyu.

"Yah, how could I tell that to her? Have some pity on her. She's your grandma, isn't she? Don't you feel sorry for her? I can't do it." He crossed his arms over his chest.

Seul-ki moaned and squirmed uncontrollably in her chair. "Then what are we going to do!"

"You don't want to get married to me that much, huh?" He asked, scoffing.

"Yes." She said with a straight face.

"You got a boyfriend?"

Seul-ki looked away. "No. But I have someone I want to marry."

"Who?" Sunggyu was curious, he couldn't help it.

"Kim Jaejoong."

"Huh?"

"Kim Jaejoong."

"The singer?"

She nodded and Sunggyu erupted into a loud laugh, earning some sceptical looks from the other customers. He only stopped laughing after a moment and he was still smiling ear to ear, looking at her. "You're funny."

"I'm not." She scowled. "You tell Halmeoni that you have a girlfriend then."

"Can't do that. Lying isn't my thing." He said, getting all serious again.

"Just this once! You gotta do it!" She pleaded, furrowing harder.

"Yah, are you talking informally to me?" He said, narrowing his eyes.

Seul-ki flinched, realising that she was being rather too friendly. "I'm sorry."

Sunggyu sighed. "Well. You can go and see my parents and tell them that you don't want to get married to me."

"Your parents?" She choked.

"Yeah.  It's the only way." He said, sighing. "Aren't you hungry? I want to eat something." He called out for the waiter and Seul-ki was sulking to herself, wondering what she should do. In the end, she felt that it was only her that was going to make the plan work. Then what was Sunggyu doing then?

"You should do something too..." She mouthed.

"Huh? Do what?" He asked, looking at the menu.

"Fail this."

"I told you before, didn't I? There's nothing that I can do."

"But what if I fail?"

"Then we'll get married." He said, matter-of-factly.

"And you wouldn't mind that?" She said, bemused.

"Not really. You're a woman, aren't you?"

"Of course I am." Seul-ki looked at him, bewildered. "Do you want money that bad?"

Sunggyu looked up from the menu and looked at her with a straight face. "Look here. I know that I'm sounding all selfish and greedy, agreeing to marry you just because of money. But you see here, Lee Seul-ki-sshi, I'm the only son in my family and I had never gone against my parents. And I'm at least glad that he isn't marrying me off for business profits because that'd be even more wrong. I don't care about money that much. I work for a living too, for your information. But if I don't listen to my dad, what's going to happen to our family? Would you go against your father's words, Lee Seul-ki-sshi?" He ended his words with a sigh.

Seul-ki looked down on the table, her eyes dimmed under her long lashes. "
