Moments after Sooyoung had left them, Kyuhyun and Victoria decided to leave the apartment as well. They wanted to do end some unfinished discussions. They had to. Kyuhyun led Victoria to the car, opening the door for her.  Kyuhyun followed her inside the car, entering at the other door. Before Kyuhyun could start the engine, Victoria spoke up. “Is she gonna be okay?”

“Yeah… She will. I know she’ll be fine.” Kyuhyun started the engine after putting on the seatbelt.

Silence covered the both of them during the drive. Kyuhyun’s stare was straight-forward and his expression was unreadable. Not even Victoria – who has been with him since his childhood days – can read it. Shoving the thoughts out of her head, she gave out a sigh and tried to come up with a conversation. “How are you?”

Kyuhyun didn’t answer her directly. Much to her surprise, he did after a few moments later. “I’ve been good.”

“Does Sooyoung know your decision?” Victoria tilted her head to see a better view of the maknae. “No… Not yet.” Kyuhyun said, his expression unchanged.

“Are you really planning to be obedient this time? As far as I could remember, you’re not a good little 10-year-old boy who obeys the orders of his stepmom…” Victoria smiled sheepishly trying to lighten up the atmosphere.

“Noona… You do know what’s gonna happen if I stay right?”
