“106b…107b…108a! AHA found it!” I crumble the piece of paper with the apartment number and stuff it back in my pocket. I picked up my suitcases and drag them along with me to the apartment.

“Yoseob said he’ll be waiting outside…but I don’t see him anywhere.” I search around for a perky hyped boy so sadly to call he’s my brother. Well I just came back from my studies in American and decided to come back to my home.

Sad enough to say my parents made the house into a hotel. I was bushed. My home. My room is all gone. Surprisingly I did not know Yoseob moved out right after I left. My parents gave me his number.

Yoseob was glad I was back and told how much he missed me. I miss him too. So I asked if I can stay with him until I get my own place and said it wouldn’t be a problem.

I crept up the stairs and knocked on the door. Maybe he’s inside. Who’s knows he could be sleeping or doing something.

I knocked again. No answer. He said he’d be here! I place my suitcase on the ground from being tired of holding it so I sat on the stairs and waited patiently.

Couple minutes later I heard the door open behind me. Happily I turned around. “Yoseob!” But it wasn’t Yoseob.

“I do not look like that fake maknae! I’m the real maknae Dongwoon!”

So this guy is name Dongwoon. Pretty tall no really tall I’m only 5’4 and from what I see he’s a skyscraper to me. What is a maknae? I’m not familiar with these terms…yet. Anyway Dongwoon looks very different as in really different heck I don’t know if he’s the same race as me.

“Who are you? Do I know you? Have I seen you before?” He came closer to get a better look of me.

I awkwardly pushed away. “Umm..no. I’m Yume.”

His eyes brighten when he heard my name. “Oh you’re Yume! Yoseob’s sister! Wah I never knew he had one until he told us last night.”

“Really?”

He nodded. “Uh huh. Come in you must be cold.” He took my suitcases in and I followed. What nice fellow eh? I’m just wondering why he hasn’t open the door before when I knocked numerous times and decides to now.

I close the door behind me and already the livingroom is right there. It’s so small…not that I except Yoseob to be a billionaire or something…okay with his cute looks I thought he would hit it off into a model industry.

Dongwoon set my suitcases on the ground and went to the fridge. He grabs two glasses and pours water into them. “Thirsty?”

“Yeah.” I took the glass from him and drank the water with one big gulp. Dongwoon sips on his. “Wow you’re thirsty.”

I wipe the water that was left on my mouth and sheepishly smiled. “So…I’m guessing Yoseob doesn’t live alone.”

“No if he did. I don’t think he’ll be able to own a place.” He chuckle. I join with him agreeing. Yoseob couldn’t even tie his own shoes I had to teach him and sadly to say he was 13 at the time.

“But he has the 5 of us to keep him in good place.” Dongwoon added.

All of a sudden I choke on my own saliva. Dongwoon rushed to my side and patted my back. “Whoa you okay!?”

I nodded assuring I was fine. Shesh what has got into me? “Wait 5?” Don’t tell me there are more than 5 people in this household.

“Well 7 now counting you.”

“Wait 7 what?!”

Dongwoon jumped in surprise at my shout. “You mean there are 5 other men in this house?!” I cried in disbelief.

“…Yes. Is that a problem?”

“Of course it’s a problem. I’m a girl the only girl that is living with 6 boys! Don’t you think this could attempt as !”

“Hey you said men before why boys now? ? Or please we are not dirty dogs. And you’re not the only girl. Hyunseung can perm his hair with you if you like.” 

This guy is unbelievable. What is taking Yoseob so long! He and I are going to have a long chat.

I rub the sides of my head. “Are you okay there?” Dongwoon asked.

I gave him a look. “Does it look like I am?”

Dongwoon just meekly smiled then he turn around to an unexpected unknown person that just walked out of a room. “Oh hey Junhyung. Remember Yoseob told us his sister is going to stay with us? Well she’s here.”

Junhyung eh? Well he doesn’t look much appealing or I should say doesn’t give a freaking fly I’m even here by the solid stern look on his face. He wore a baggy hoddie that he kept over his head as he walked towards us.

“Hi am Yume. Hope we can become good friends.” I took out my hand for a shake but he just stared down at it and walks pass by me. Ummm…I just take my hand back. Awkwardly I stood there.

Dongwoon shook his head at his friend. He looked at me and pointed his thumb to him. “Junhyung is the emotionless guy so don’t be hurt if he doesn’t say a single word to you. Deep down he care- OW!”

Dongwoon held the back of head from the bottle that just hit him.

Junhyung with a blank expression just carries his glass of water into his room, closing the door behind him with a slam.

I watched every move and made a mental note. When living here avoid the emotionless guy.

I went over to Dongwoon. “You okay?”

“He likes you already.” Dongwoon grinned.
