Wait what?
What did I ever do?“Wait what?” Mrs. Wu stared at the couple with shock written all over her face. She didn't believe what they said.
Kris camly looked over to Tao and held his hand before repeating what he said.
“Umma, Tao is pregnant with my child” Tao hung his head low as Kris repeated that one sentence
Kris’s parents stared at both of them in disbelief. They couldn’t believe what their son just told them.
“Kris honey, don’t joke with us! Boys cannot get pregnant!” Mrs. Wu nervously laughed as she held her husbands hand
“I’m not lying Umma…We went to the hospital” Kris half yelled half spoke. Feeling quite annoyed that his parents were thinking that they were lying to them.
Mrs. Wu Stared at Mr. Wu for a few minutes. And stared back at the couple in front of her. Tao was scared of their reaction. He didn’t want Kris to de disowned or hated by his family so Tao stood up and began speaking.
“I am so sorry. I bet you’re disgusted with me. I am thankful for this wonderful evening. I will be going now. And Kris you don’t have to drive me home. Tao began to walk out of the dining room until Kris caught Tao’s wrist and pulled him towards his chest.
“Umma, Appa. I love Tao so much and I am hoping that you will accept him into the family. If you will not I will leave and never see and talk to you ever again. Kris bowed and waited for his parents answer. All of a sudden Kris and Tao heard a shriek and look up. Kris’s mom was rampaging on how long it took them to finally get together forever.
“OMFG! FINALLY! HONEY DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG UMMA HAS BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO GET TOGETHER!? AND NOW I CAN HAVE A GRANDCHILD?! OHH GOSH GOD YOU’RE ON MY SIDE! YOU BLESSED ME WITH SUCH WONDERFUL THINGS!” Mrs. Wu clapped her hands in glee
“what your mom is saying is that she is really happy that you guys are together and that you guys are able to give her a grandchild at this age.” Kris’s dad replied with his straight face not really showing much emotion
At that point Tao realized where Kris had got his face. Kris was really happy that his parents accepted Tao into his family. He picked Tao up and carried him towards the couch. He sat down and put Tao on his lap. He was smiling like crazy. He bet Tao thought he was crazy or something but Tao didn’t think that. He finally realized that Kris really wanted to be with him. He was about to get off of Kris’s lap but was pushed down by Kris’s mom (not hard)
“Tao! You can call me umma now! You are a part of our family now. We will welcome you anytime so visit us as often as you can.” She continued ranting on about how she will now have a cute little panda and how she can't deal with the 2 faced people in the house.
“Umm…Ms-Umma…..I hope that we can get along in the future?” Tao shyly rubbed his head
"Aigoo! you're so cute!"Ms.Wu Pinched Tao’s cheek
“Hey! Umma! How can you forget your own son and take care of only Tao?” Kris pouted
“Kris! I showered you with enough love. Its time I shower Tao okay?! You had it all your life, didn’t you ever learn to share? Hmm? I was sure that you were taught this in Kindergarten, and please don't pout again” Mrs. Wu playfull shuddered as she continued to pinch Tao's cheek
“Hmph Appa! Umma is so mean!” Kris whined towards his dad
“hahaha Kris your mom is right for once so let her be.” Mrs. Wu smirked
“Wait what?! I was right many! Times!” Kris’s mom said while putting her hands on her hips
All of a sudden they heard a small voice.
“Um..ma…Kris….Mr.Wu..I’m still hungry… umm can we..you know…go and resume eatting?”
Everyone bursted out into laughter when they heard Tao, He was so adroable! Tao started to turn red due to the embarrassment.
“Let us go continue dinner. And Tao”
“Yes Mr.Wu?”
“You know you can call me appa right?”
“Ohh umm yes Mr.W-I man appa…”
“Haha! I see you aren’t getting use to calling us Umma and Appa”
“Um yes ap-pa!” Tao hid his face into Kris’s chest trying to hid his face.”
“Aigoo you’re so cute Tao. I wonder why it took so long for Kris to say ILY” Kris’s mom said while patting Tao’s head
Silence quickly entered the room as Ms.Wu finished what she was saying.
“Umm..Ms.Wu we didn’ exchange words yet.”
“why?”
“Cause we are waiting for the right moment” Kris butted in as he saw that Tao couldn’t find anything to say.”
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” they all heard another shriek from Ms.Wu
“OMG! I TAO YOU’RE PREGNANT RIGHT?” Mrs. Wu yelled as she frantically looked between Tao and his stomach
“Umm..Yes Umm-a….wh-y?” Tao replied. Scared as Mrs. Wu shouted at him
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
Kris quickly covered Tao’s ears as it was starting to deafen them.
“UMMA!? WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING?!”
“TAO IS PREGNANT AND WE RAN AROUNG THE HOUSE AND WE JUST PUT HIM UNDER PRESSURE! AND STRESS!”
“So, Umma. we run all the time” Kris asked as he was slightly confused.”
“YOU IDIOT! Kris he could have lost his baby! You can’t let Tao do anything dangerous! And no stress and pressure! Am I clear young man!?”
“ye-s Umma….”
Kris dad cleared his throat to gain their attention
“Let’s continue eating. I can tell that Tao is getting very hungry and awkward” Mr. Wu said as he slightly laughed at Taos red face.
“Okay let’s start eating again” Kris said as everyone began to chow down on their food.
