Parents?

After the big commotion of Kris crying in pain and Tao comforting him. Kyungsoo and Kai decided to leave the two “lovers” alone. They both left the room swearing and shouting at each other. Kris who was in too much pain just turned his back to them. and sent a glare towards Kyungsoo, while Tao waved and walked them towards the school entrance.

After a couple of minutes Tao and Kris Stood there in silence. The air was awkward and tense. They were both trying to think of a subject to talk about but none of them could. I mean seriously who has something to talk about when you ditched that friend years ago? Tao kept on biting his lower lip not wanting to say anything, scared that he might anger the older. He didn't want Kris to leave him alone. He actually wanted Kris to stay and raise the child with him.

Kris who was starting to get pissed at the silence, it was unbearable. The only sound you could hear was the sound of them breathing and the noise from the street, which consists of crazy and stressed business workers and cars. He finally decided to break the silence before anything else happens.

“So…Tao do you know what gender the baby is?” Kris ran his hands through his hair, while looking away. Wanting to avoid eye contact with the younger

Tao stared at Kris for a few seconds fully knowing that the older was trying to make the air less awkward. But a smile still made its way on his face. Tao was surprised to see that Kris was actually “interested” in the baby. He thought Kris would say all the cheesy crap just so he can mend their relationship and not care about the baby at all

“Umm I don’t know yet gege…I’m only about 2 months. Almost 3.” Tao gently rubbed his hands over his bump

“Do you know when you’re going to find out?” Kris turned to look at the younger with interest in his eyes

“They said for me to come back next week because I booked an appointment a few days ago” Tao smiled as he kept on rubbing his bump gently

“I’m going with you” Kris said a little too quickly. He

“What?!” Tao asked in disbelief. He wasn’t expecting that Kris was going with him.

“I said I’m going with you. Is there a problem in seeing what gender my baby is?” Kris raised his eyebrow

“N-o there isn’t a problem” Tao was really happy now

After that no one spoke a word. Silence filled the air but this time it was an awkward silence it was a comfortable silence. After standing there in silence for a few minutes Kris decided to offer to drive Tao home. Obviously Tao accepted because he had no way to say no to Kris. They walked towards the parking lot and Tao went straight for Kris's car.

Kris was surprised; he didn't think that Tao would remember what his car was. He smiled to himself as he got into the car. Tao looked at Kris weirdly but dismissed the thought as he quickly seat belted, wanting to make sure that his baby was going to be safe. He didn't want to have a miscarriage since he had Kris with him now.

The drove towards Tao's home was quiet. Tao didn't like the quietness, since he remembered that Kris and him would always talk and turn on the music every time they took Kris's car. So he decided it was his turn to break the silence

“Kris?” Tao looked out the window not wanting to face the older

“Yes?” Kris replied not taking his eyes off the road

“Are you really going to raise the child with me?” Tao said gently

“Of course I am Tao. Remember what I said?” Still not staring at the other but put one of his hands on Tao's thigh to make the younger less stressed

Tao sat there in silence. He was debating to either be spoiled or ask him to repeat what he had said before or to just nod. He really wanted to hear Kris's words again but he was scared Kris might have forgotten, and it might have been a once time thing.

To save himself from anything that could hurt him; he decided that he would just nod. He felt it was awkward to become that close after a very long time as well.

Kris stared at Tao as he just nodded.

A side of Kris was hoping for Tao to not remember or well pretend to not remember because he really wanted to say it again to make him feel like it was true. Kris really wanted Tao to actually feel wanted by him so he decided to make up a plan.

“Umm kris?” Tao said staring into Kris's eyes

“Yes Tao?” Kris replied

“You just passed my house….” Tao lightly shook Kris's arm. Hoping the older didn't forget where he lived

“I know” Kris chuckled

“Where are we going?” Tao felt more alarmed now. What if everything that Kris said so far was a lie, and he was going to get rid of him and the baby.

“To my place” Kris said as he continued to pat Tao's thighs. Fully knowing what was going on in Tao's head

Tao looked at Kris confused. He was happy he wasn't going to kill him and the child but why would Kris bring him to his place?

“We are going to my place to meet…my parents” Kris stopped patting Tao's thighs as he put his hand back on the sterling wheel. Not wanting to get into a car accident

Tao was now nervous he didn’t know how Kris’s parents would react. I mean Tao hasn’t seen them in years. He also never knew how they felt about him. What if they hated him? What if they hated gay people? He didn’t want Kris to be kicked out of his family because of him.

He was about to tell Kris to stop the car and get out and leave before trouble started but “oh no” It was too late. Kris had already stopped and parked in his parent’s drive way. Kris got out of the car wait opened the door for Tao and waited for him to get out. But Tao just sat there not wanting to move at all.

“Tao!” Kris called but he didn’t answer

Kris smirked as an idea popped into his head. He picked Tao up bridal style and began walking towards the door. Tao’s eyes grew as Kris picked him up. He squirmed and threw a “Mini Tiny” Tantrum in Kris’s arm.

“If you continue to move I’ll drop you here” Kris said seriously

Tao immediately stopped moving and curled in close to Kris’s chest. Kris smiled as reached the door. Kris tried to open the door but he was soon welcomed by his family as they opened the door for him. Tao looked up to see their reactions but it was nothing he was expecting.

Kris’s Mom kept on bugging Kris to release Tao so she could hug him and Kris’s Dad was smiling and greeting them both. Just as Kris let Tao go, Kris’s mom pounced on Tao squeezing him to death. Kris happily separated his mom and Tao as he saw Tao’s suffocating face. And he was also getting jealous that his mother was doing so much skin ship with his Tao

Once Tao was free he did a respectful 90 degrees bow. Both of Kris’s parents were so happy when Kris told them that he was bringing Tao over. They both wanted this to happen; they always loved/liked Tao. He was so polite and respectful, they were surprised at first when Kris told them he was gay but after he told them he was in love with Tao, It was a TOTALLY different story.
