NO ONE'S POV

Kris walked back into the mall smiling, oh how he wished Onew would become his daughter. He loved the way Tao would smile and his eyes would light up when they would go out together. As he got closer to the bench, he frowned. He couldn’t see them anywhere. He sat down and sighed. They probably went to buy something and Tao forgot to text him. He opened his phone and began to play games. After 10 minutes of waiting, he decided to call Tao

*sorry the number you have reached is off or is out of service. Please call again or leave a message after this BEEP*

Kris eyebrows knitted together. Tao wouldn’t close his phone. Maybe it died. But after waiting 20 minutes Kris panicked. He called Kyungsoo and Kai and informed them that Onew and Tao were missing.

“Tao, where are you?” Kris got up and ran out the mall and into his car.

NO ONE'S POV

Tao woke up disoriented, he looked around the room with squinted eyes. “, what happened?” He felt his head throb

All he remembered was Kris walking away and his conversation with Onew…ONEW!? Tao rescanned the room searching for the girl. What are they doing to her if she’s not in the room with him? His thoughts were interrupted by cough. Looking up he saw two men in black.  He was so into his thoughts that he didn’t hear them come into the room

“Mr. Huang it seems like you’re awake, please come with us” One of the men said showing the way out with his hands

“Where are you taking me?” Tao questioned, he was not going to follow them, hell he’s being kidnapped right now.

“Just come with us, we mean no harm to you and your baby…yet” Shocked Tao look at them with panicked eyes.

“Leave me alone, don’t come near us!”

The other man sighed “don’t scare him, we need him to be calm and rational! You idiot”

“Just come with us, we won’t hurt you….or your baby” Tao hesitantly got up from the bed and walked towards them in slow and careful steps. “What do you guys want with me?”

“Your questions will be answered when we arrive to our destination” The nice man in black said as he directed Tao towards the long hallway

They walked down the long hallway in silence, no one spoke until they reached another room, they opened the door for them and he saw someone sitting in there. His eyes widened. The person he was worrying for was sitting on the other side of the room, well dressed and unharmed.  His eyes widened even more when the man he had ruined walked into the room and placed his hands his daughter’s shoulder shoulder.

“O…..Onew?”

MEANWHILE

Kris was frantically walking around the room while Kyungsoo and Kai were watching him.

“Kris do you have any ideas of who took him as captive?” Kyungsoo sighed, Kris has been doing this as soon as he contacted the couple and told them that Tao and Onew were missing.

“I don’t think anyone would want to harm them” Kris thought hard.

“But I do remembered after we took Onew in Tao told me how Onew’s dad was abusive….but it can’t be him, he has been out of the country for the last few days. And he has been there for months. There is no way he did it, and he doesn’t even have enough money to pay someone to do it”

“Then who else, this can’t just be a random kidnapping. We haven’t received a ransom not, why would they also kidnap Onew, no one knew that she was with you guys but us’ Kyungsoo sighed

“That’s the part that connects this incident to Onew’s dad” Kai shared looks with Kris

“We can’t just accuse someone without evidence, like I said, Onew’s father has been out of town for months now, and there is no possible way for him to do this alone”

Kris opened his phone and dialed in a number

“Omma, Appa, Onew and Tao are missing” Kris moved his phone a bit to the side as he heard his mother frantically scream. Kris sighed and disconnected his phone

“My mother told us to meet in my office” Kris grabbed his keys and headed out. Kai and Kyungsoo trailed after him.

BACK TO PLACE THAT IS TO BE DETERMINED

“Onew why?” Tao stared at her with pained eyes.

“Sorry, Mrs.” Onew looked at her hands, she really didn’t want to do this. At first she did it for fun, for revenge. But after spending so much time with them she couldn’t do it. But she had to. She was having so much fun until her father called her

MONTAGE

ONEW POV

“I’m so tired, I finally beat Kai and Super Smash Brawl. I jumped onto my bed and snuggled into the sheets. I closed my eyes ready to take a nap before I had to eat dinner.

“ONEW” I heard Kris calling me. I rolled my eyes, I can’t believe I ever thought he was cool. I got up and stared at him as he entered my room

“Hmm?” I hummed to him

“Onew, honey. I and Tao are going out for a business dinner. Is that okay with you? We have some pasta in the oven, if you don’t like it you can call Kyungsoo over to cook for you”

“Okay” I pouted at him. I was looking forward to having dinner with them

“Don’t pout, if you aren’t that hungry now, I’ll bring you back some cake. But if you are you can when we leave” I Pouted even more at him

“Ummmmaa!” I whined

“Yes?” I heard Tao respond. I couldn’t stop my smile from coming up when I saw his face

Tao entered the room and raised his eyebrow at Kris

“Honey, I didn’t do anything” Kris put his hands up in defence

“What wrong Honey? What did Appa do?” Tao walked and sat beside me

“Umma, Appa is a Pabo, He told me to eat and be lonely or starve myself to get cake”

Tao turned his head and face Kris

“Wu Yifan” I giggled a bit when I saw Kris’s face. It looked like he was going to him self

“No! t-that’s what I said b-ut tha-ts not  what I meant!” Kris started to stutter

“So what did you mean?” Tao tried to hold his stoic face.

“I…Never mind, I’ll go and buy Onew cake.”

“Good boy” Tao patted Kris’s head before leaving

Umma and Appa dropped off the cake and left for their business meeting. I sat at the dinner table in silence. I picked up my chopsticks and began to eat but after a few bite I slowly put the chopsticks down. Looking around the dinning room It was quiet and empty a complete opposite of the usual routine, I felt so lonely. This was the first time in a long time since I ate by myself. I sat there for a while looking at the wall, I lost my appetite I don't feel hungry anymore. I’ll probably eat when Tao and Kris are back. While walking back to my room I heard my phone ring

“Yeboseyo?”

“Onew?” my breath hitched a bit. How could I forget...?

“Yes, sir?” I said strongly, afraid to let him know I forgot about him

“How is the plan going so far? Did they drop their suspisions?”

“Everything is proceeding like how it’s supposed to. Yes I have gotten passed their guards. They won’t suspect a thing” I exhaled a breath, I didn’t even know I was holding

“Good, Remember, next week is when we will put the plan in action. Have you fixed the GPS on your phone?’

“Yes, I have”

“Ok” I heard the line cut

I changed to my GPS system, I saw it was clicked off. Hopefully he won’t find out find out my GPS was never broken.

A few minutes later I head Kris and Tao come into the room. I locked my bedroom door. I heard them talking outside my door.

“Kris is Onew awake?”

“I don’t know” I heard appa twist my knob

“The doors locked” I could hear the panic in his voice

“I’M GOING TO SLEEP” I yelled out, I couldn’t hear anything after a while

“Did you eat? I heard umma ask

“Yes”

“….ok, sleep tight honey” I couldn’t sleep that night. I didn’t want this to disappear, the late night snack. Family dinners, playing with people I could trust. And especially Kris and Tao.

PRESENT TIME

NO ONE'S POV

Onew’s father look between his daughter and his victim. “Well, enough of the reunion. Tao-shi you have ruined me, I have lost everything I owned, my wife, my estate, and my company. I want you to feel my pain of losing everything in a split of a second” As soon as he walked out of the door, a few men came in. Tao stared at Onew in panic, He saw Onew return the look. Seems like her father didn’t tell her everything. “Come on Onew, you don’t want to get dirty do you?” Onew’s father voice boomed through the room from the speakers.
