Chapter 25

“what are you doing here?” he asked.

“uh… im visiting my mother. You?” I asked innocently.

“Kai is here. By any chances, he’s on room 150. Second floor”

“Okay. I’ll visit him later”

I went out. That was so close. I enter his room and locked the door. I need to be more careful now.

“Ji Young” I heard Kai’s voice. He’s already awake.

“Kai? Are you okay? What are you feeling right now?” I touched his forehead and trying to check his temperature.

I prepare the rice porridge and the coffee I made.

“eat this” I feed him since he cant move.

Suddenly, I heard the strong opening of the door. I saw umma rushing to Kai and hug him tight.

“My son! What happened to you?” I stand from my sit and watch the scene.

“Umma…. My wife is here” Kai said and Umma smiled while tears were escaping from her eyes.

“are you okay? I bought you foods. “ Umma said.

“Ji Young! Thanks for caring my little boy” umma said.

I smiled.

“ I thought something happened to you” umma carressed Kai’s face.

I went out of the room and cry. I went to the rooftop and sobbed.

After some minutes, I felt the vibration of my phone

Ji Young…. Go back to my room

I wiped the last tear escaped my eyes and went to his room.

“where did you go?” umma isnt here.

“rooftop.” I said.

“you cried?” I did not answer.

“Ji Young… come closer” I came closer.

“Closer” as he said, I came closer.

“Psh” he grabbed my wrist and he hug me.

“I miss you” he whispered.

“Are you really sick? You’re hugging me now and I cant barely breathe” we laughed.

“now tell me, why did you cry”

I stopped.

“The scene awhile ago, Umma is so worried about you. She really takes care of you. My parents never did that to me. I don’t feel im their daughter. They never said those comforting words to me before” maybe that’s why I became warmth hearted when it comes to Kai’s parents because they treat me like their true daughter.

“Shhh… don’t cry. You’re more beautiful when you smile” I smiled to him.

“What are feeling right now? Do you want to eat?”

“no. just stay by my side”  I grabbed my bag and gave him chocolate bars.

“what are this?” Kai asked.

“when Im experiencing extreme fatigue, I always eat chocolate because they were rich in energy. Now just eat that” I went to kitchen and peel some fruits.

“After you eat that, here’s the next” I said.

“Im full”

“No. you’re not” he pout.

“you need to eat more food!”

“Im full!” I slapped his arms slightly. He laughed.

“Okay! I’ll eat”

After he ate, he said he want rest so he slept. I sat down and quietly eat. I went to the comfort room to change my clothes.

I am about to exit when I heard Kai’s voice

“Ji Young?”

Next thing I heard, the opening of the door.

I exited and saw a girl entered Kai’s room.
