“That’s a wrap!” the director called out and walked away.

Lani let out a sigh of relief as Chunji approached her.

“You did great,” he said and patted her on the back.

The filming for Lani’s music video had just concluded and she was exhausted. They filmed for over 18 hours straight and she hadn’t gotten much sleep in the past few days. Her digital single was a very upbeat song with strong vocals accompanied by Chunji’s power voice. Chunji starred in the music video alongside Lani and this made her more comfortable. Her debut was set to be in two weeks on M!Countdown and she felt at ease knowing that Teen Top would also be performing that day.

“You nervous?” L.Joe asked as he intertwined his fingers with Lani’s.

They sat upon the rooftop just enjoying the fresh air. It was a busy week for Lani. She had practice after practice since her debut was nearing quickly. She spent all of her breaks, which weren’t much, with L.Joe or the other Teen Top members, of course excluding Niel. It was almost midnight and her first ever music video was set to be released on the company’s website.

“What if people don’t like it?” Lani said worriedly staring down at her feet.

“Don’t worry. I bet you’ll get a lot of fans in no time!” L.Joe exclaimed, trying to be optimistic.

“How would you know? You didn’t even hear my song!”

“Lani,” L.Joe said softly. He lifted her face so she was staring straight into his eyes. “Trust me, you’ll do great. You practiced and worked so hard for this, so stop worrying so much. I’ll always be here for you no matter what happens.”

Lani couldn’t help but smile at L.Joe’s words. She wrapped her arms around his waist and gently hugged him. L.Joe smiled down at her a lightly kissed her on her forehead.

“Four more minutes,” L.Joe chimed as he looked at his watch.

Lani sighed and reached over to her bag. She pulled out her laptop and went straight to the company site. L.Joe held the laptop as Lani leaned on his shoulder. As soon as midnight struck, he rapidly pressed the refresh button until the video popped up on the page.

“It’s out!” L.Joe exclaimed in excitement and pressed play.

Lani perked up and stared at the screen. She saw clips from the day they filmed, but she was yet to see the finished project. Neither of them spoke as they watched the video.

“So, what do you think?” Lani asked once the video was over.

“I don’t like it.” L.Joe slammed the laptop shut.

What…? He didn’t like it? Did she hear him correctly? Her heart broke at his words. The only person whose opinion actually mattered to her didn’t like it.

Her eyes rounded as she looked up at him.

“Don’t get me wrong, the singing and the dancing was perfect,” he said looking at her.

She was confused… if he thought it was perfect, why did he say he didn’t like it?

“But then, you let Chunji kiss you?” L.Joe sighed and shook his head in a disapproving manner.

Lani couldn’t help but laugh at how immature L.Joe was being.

“What…?” L.Joe asked, slightly confused.

“You’re so cute when you’re jealous!” she giggled.

“What? Me jealous? Pfft… I just don’t like it when other guys touch my girl.”

“It was just a kiss on the hand. And Chunji’s my best friend; at least it wasn’t some stranger.”

“That’s true…” L.Joe said, much calmer now. “Well you did amazing,” he reassured as he wrapped his arm around her and gave her a tight hug.

“Noona! We saw you’re video!” “You’re so pretty!” “Your voice is so smooth and emotional!” “Your dancing was amazing!” “It was awesome noona!” Later that day, Ricky and Changjo flooded Lani with compliments the moment they saw her.

“Thank you,” she shyly smiled.

They were all hanging out in Teen Top’s practice room. CAP was busy sleeping on the couch and Niel was nowhere to be seen.

“Are you ready for your debut stage?” Chunji asked as he slung an arm around Lani’s shoulders.

“Not really,” she confessed.

L.Joe clucked his tongue and Chunji looked at him. “Hand, off.”

“No,” Chunji smirked.

“Excuse me?” L.Joe glowered at him.

“Sheesh, I’m just kidding,” Chunji said backing away with his hands up.

“You better be.”

“But! I got to kiss her~” Chunji chanted with a smile of victory on his face.

“Yah! Lee Chanhee!” L.Joe exclaimed as he began chasing Chunji around the room.

Lani just laughed as she watched the two run around the room.

“I want to kiss Lani noona too!” Changjo exclaimed then suddenly he lightly pecked her on the cheek.

“Me too! Me too!” Ricky chimed, doing the same as Changjo.

Lani’s cheeks flushed bright red with the sudden affection from the two.

L.Joe’s attention suddenly snapped to the maknaes sitting with Lani. He forgot all about Chunji and started chasing Changjo and Ricky.

“Well I better get back to practice, only six more days!” Lani exclaimed as she picked up her bag.

“I’ll come with you,” Chunji smiled.

Lani looked at him with confusion.

“You don’t expect me to not be on your debut stage with you, do you?”

“You’re going to be with me?! On my first stage!?” Lani’s eyes glistened with excitement.

“Of course!” Chunji replied.

“Thank you oppa!” Lani ran up to him and flung her arms around his neck.

Chunji patted Lani on the back and smiled. “Well we better start practicing.”

Lani smiled and turned back to the others.

“We’re off to practice, I’ll see you guys later!” she said and waved.

Before Lani could walk out of the door, Changjo and Ricky ran up to Lani and gave her another kiss on the cheek, just to tease L.Joe and it worked. He strode up to them with furry in his eyes. They quickly ducked behind Lani for protection. She put her hands on L.Joe’s chest to stop him from getting any closer to Ricky and Changjo and stared up at him. His expression softened as his gaze met with her’s.

“At least I’m the only one who can kiss you like this…” L.Joe leaned down and gently pressed his lips to Lani’s. She kissed him back and he smiled in satisfaction. Ricky couldn’t bear to watch this mushy love scene in front of his eyes and left the room, soon to be followed by Changjo.

“Yah, Ricky…” Changjo called out once they were down the hall.

Ricky just turned and looked at him, no expression on his face.

“What’s going on?” Changjo asked with curiosity and concern.
