After school ended, Sungmin and Kyuhyun went to Taemin’s class and waited for Xiao to come out. As soon as she stepped out they grabbed her by her arms and pulled her away.

“W-what are you doing?” Xiao asked confused. They didn’t say a thing. “Geez, I have to clean gym and classroom, thanks to you, so release me now!” she said irritated, but they didn’t listen to her. Instead of listening they kept on walking, while Leeteuk, Eunhyuk and Donghae were already waiting for them in front of the gym.

They showed her inside and closed the doors behind as they stepped in as well. Xiao looked from one to another in confusion.

“Just what is going on?” she asked again and sighed angrily.

“Yun Xiao,” Leeteuk started, making her flinch a little. A smirk appeared on his lips and even grater confused on her face.

“What?” She didn’t stand it anymore. “Just say it, god damn it.” She said annoyed and stomped with her foot on the floor.

“Your real name is Yun Xiao, right?” Eunhyuk asked.

“So what?” Xiao looked at him. “What are you going to do? Sue me for lying that I was Park Jung Jinny?”

On her big surprise, Kyuhyun bowed deeply. Her eyes widened as she looked at him.

“I’m sorry for making a bet on you.” He said. Xiao only smiled, knowing that she’ll enjoy in teasing them a little for few minutes.

“It’s okay,” she smiled like an innocent girl.

“W-what?” they all stuttered and widely opened their eyes, looking at her.

“I’m not mad at you guys,” she started and waved with her hand. “I know I didn’t have any taste for fashion and everything …” she said.

“S-so y-you f-forgive me?” Kyuhyun stuttered from surprise.

“Ne~” Xiao sang and suddenly her smiled disappeared. “Is what you want to hear right?” she asked and looked straight into his eyes, making him flinch. Being shocked by her sudden change in expression they didn’t know what to say or what to do, so they just stared at her blankly.

“Did you really think I would forgive you so easily, just by bowing and saying sorry?” she asked and looked at Kyuhyun. “Do you have any idea how much I suffered because of you? Nooo~ you don’t, so don’t just bow and apologize to someone who has suffered like his whole life was hell!” her voice raised. “And yes, I am that Xiao Yun that Lee Taemin dated, as well as bet on her. You can tell them if you want, but that won’t make my mind change. I already decided on what to do with everyone …” she said and sighed.

“B-but I saw you crying …” Sungmin suddenly spoke.

“I did cry at the park,” Xiao agreed and looked at him. “I cried everytime I was bullied at school, even when I broke up with Taemin. Well, who wouldn’t cry?” she asked and looked at him like he’s an idiot, which he looked like one, right now. “And thank you for that kick you gave me,” she smiled a little painfully, not pretending anymore. “I woke up from the nightmares that were hunting me for months. I’m really thankful to you for that.”

In that second Leeteuk grabbed Sungmin’s collar and looked straight into his eyes.

“You kicked her!?” he yelled.

“S-she hurt K-Kyu,” Sungmin defended himself, scared of his look.

“Leeteuk,” Xiao called him, without honorifics, making him flinch. He looked at her and released Sungmin’s neck. “He’s right,” she started. “I hurt Kyuhyun, because I was hurt when you all hurt me.”

“I didn’t hurt you!” Donghae protested.

“Everyone did in their own way.” Xiao smiled at him. He was shocked. “But the one that hurt me the most, were Taemin and Kyuhyun.” She looked back at Kyuhyun. “I thought we were friends, since we were all talking like ones … but I guess I was wrong.” She looked down to the ground and started walking towards exit.

“I have to go,” was all she said and left them in the gym.

From that day on, Sungmin and Kyuhyun tried to pay her off for what they’ve done, but she ignored them. Whenever they saw each other on the hallway and boys greeted her, Xiao only turned the other way, like they were just other students of SM High. They tried their hardest to talk with her and trying to be friends with her again, but all ended in failure.

Suddenly, there came a time, where few students got a chance to dance with famous American singers, like Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, Rihanna, etc. Taemin and Eunhyuk got first two places and there were still three places left. Eunhyuk, Donghae, Leeteuk, Sungmin and Kyuhyun thought that Xiao will be on the list as well, they all got disappointed. She wasn’t on the list, but the funniest thing was that when Britney Spears came to Korea, Seoul, she personally, asked for Xiao Yun, since she was good at English – American and British –, Japanese and German language. As soon as they saw her, standing right next to Britney, Taemin got a little jealous of her, but that wasn’t all.

~Xiao’s POV~

“So what did she say?” Bom asked hyper.

“Who?” I asked, pretending not to know, and looked at her confused.

“Don’t play,” she said and gently hit my shoulder. “Britney,” she added and pointed at her as I was walking beside her.

“Is everything okay?” Britney asked as she heard her name.

“Yes, don’t worry.” I said and give her a gentle smile. She smiled back and sat on the chair in dining room, while Bom and I just walked a little farther away from her, to not listen to our talk, though she doesn’t know Korean.

“So?” Bom asked impatient. I quietly sighed and looked at her.

“She gave me a chance to go with her in United States to improve my dancing skills, since she saw me on time.” I said and smiled.

“Bwoh!?” Bom screamed, so everyone turned to us, including Britney.

“Shush,” I put my hand on .

“So you’re going to America, huh?” I suddenly heard a smirk from above. I looked up and saw … no one else, than my dearest Taemin. I rolled my eyes and let a loud sigh for him to hear it as well. He walked down the stairs and stopped right next to us with Bom, looking at me.

“You have a problem?” I asked as I looked back at him.

“Actually I do.” He nodded. “You’re just going to America, because you were kissing her , right?” he asked.

“Hey, don’t talk like that!” Bom hissed at him. He looked at her from head to toe and smirked: “Or what? Big Bang will come and kick my ? All you do, is hiding behind them and act like some ***** which you really are.”

That has done it. I slapped him, so his left cheek was reddish. I could feel Britney’s eyes on us in interested.

“You can insult me as much as you want and think whatever you want, but if you insult my friends, you’ll make a big enemy out of me!” I yelled.

“Tche,” Taemin snorted and touched his chin. “You think I’ll be scared of little girl like you?” he hissed and stepped right in front of me, so we were only inches apart. I could feel his breath on my skin, making my knees week, but I didn’t show it, instead I only smirked.

“You really are full of yourself, Lee Taemin. You should be careful when Xiao comes back, because she’s not the same anymore.”

His eyes quickly blinked as I said my real name.

“W-what?” he stuttered.

“You heard me right. Did you think Xiao will stay still after you humiliated her in front of school? Do you think that your current girlfriend will be still as well after you’ll humiliate her?” I asked, and poked into his chest.

“H-how do you know that?” he stuttered.

“I told you, Xiao Yun is my sister.” I laughed and then turned around, seeing all eyes on us, as well as Britney’s eyes. “I’m sorry for this mess,” I said and bowed ninety degrees. “I’ve decided. After school I’ll go home and prepare my luggage to go to United States of America.” I smiled.

“Great,” Britney smiled, stood up and hugged me, making all boys and girls jealous. Then she moved away a little and looked at her security guy, with light brown hair, that was standing next to her, while other three were standing on the other side of dining room, observing everyone, but mostly Britney.

“Accompany her and don’t let anyone in her vicinity that she doesn’t like, okay?” she ordered. He lightly nodded and Britney turned back to me. “Well, I’m going to hotel, okay? Just call me when you’ll be ready to go.” She smiled and gave me her card.

“T-thanks,” I stuttered in a surprise and took her card. She hugged me again and then walked out, with her guard walked in his distance behind me as I was talking to Bom and got all the glares from girls.

“Oh my god, Jinny!” Dara suddenly yelled from in front and ran to me. Guy quickly stepped in front of me and stopped her. Dara looked at him confused and then at me.

“It’s okay,” I said to him. He glanced at me and lightly nodded, going back to his place.

“Who’s he?” Dara asked as she hugged me tightly.

“The guard Britney gave me …” I muttered.

“So it’s true?” She screamed from her excitement.

“How do you know?” I asked confused and surprised.

“The whole school already knows, since you made such a debut in dining room with Taemin right now.” CL said from in front. I saw Minzy right next to her.

“Arraso,” I muttered and laughed. “And yes, it’s true. I’ll be going with Britney to United States to improve my dance.” I said, walking together with everyone towards their class.

“You’re so lucky, really.” Dara smiled. I smiled back and then saw Donghae in front of me. Girls saw my uneasiness and bit their lip.

“I-it’s okay,” I nearly stuttered. “I’ll just talk with him, nothing else.” I added and walked up to him, saying the guard to stay with girls.

“What do you want?” I asked, lightly sighing.

“I just want to say that I’m really sorry for everything I’ve done to you.” He said. I was surprised, but managed to smile.

“You haven’t done anything to me, so I’m not mad at you.” I said and held his hand. His eyes widened and stared at me. “Look Donghae, I know you are nice at heart and I know that you all didn’t mean to do that, but think about it, before you act. It can hurt a lot of people, just by doing that, not saying how much you can hurt a person by words.” I bit my lip.

“W-what about Kyuhyun?” he asked, sounding a little worried.

“While I’m in USA for another two years, I’ll think about that.” I smiled gently and released his hand, walking back to girls. “Let’s go,” I said and we all walked to their class.

Of course bullying didn’t stopped right away, but while Britney’s guardian was next to me, others were somehow avoiding me, like I was some daughter of President or a famous singer; but oh well, I didn’t care about it, since all I did, was talking to 2NE1 about my staying in USA.

After school we were slowly walking towards my bike and talking about everything.

“You mustn’t take other people’s words seriously, you hear me?” CL said

“Yes, mom,” I smiled teasing. She smacked my head and hugged me tightly.

“Gee, I’m going to miss you.” She muttered. I smiled again and then looked at her.

“It’s not like I’m going forever, you know.” I said.

“Well, but you’re going today!” Dara screamed, all hyper, which made me worry a lot.

“You know, Dara, you’re making me worry, since you’re hyper since morning. I’m going to think you’re happy that you’ll get rid of me.” I said, looking at her suspiciously.

“Of course I’m happy,” she teased and hugged me tightly, that I barely gasped for air.

“You know she’s only teasing you, since she liiikes you.” Bom imitated the voice of Happy, from anime Fairy Tail. She isn’t really an otaku, but she just likes this anime, like me.

“But still,” I pretended to be sad. “It hurts me,” I faked a tear. Bom smiled, knowing that I was only pretending, and hugged me.

“While you’re in USA, kick some asses and show that Koreans can dance more awesome than them.” She joked.

“Okay, but don’t cry when I’ll come back with more awesome dances skills than you.” I joked back.

“Then I’ll challenge you, Yun Xiao, known as well as Park Jung Jinny.” Minzy pointed at me and grinned.

“I take the challenge, Gong Minji.” I grinned back, hugging her. “Though I’m going today, I’m already missing you girls.” I said, looking at all of them.

“We won’t be fooled now,” Bom muttered.

“I’m not joking.” I said seriously. “I’m telling the truth; because of you, I suffered, but because of you, again, I was able to stand up on my own feet and got my feelings back, which were lost at that day.” I smiled. They looked at me from head to toe, seeing for any kind of hint that I was lying; but at the end they hugged me tightly again.

“We will miss you too,” CL said and patted my back. “Take care in America.” She added smiling.

“I will,” I nodded and showed away. “If they’ll tease you, making jokes on you, just call me and I’ll be here in a second, okay?” I said and looked at all of them, but I knew they won’t tell me a thing, making me to not worry. I let a quiet sigh. “Forget it, I’ll stay here …” I muttered, but right then, they all grabbed my hands and looked at me in the eyes.

“No, no, no, you must go to America. You must. We’ll be fine, so don’t worry,” Dara said. Others only nodded. I looked at them suspiciously.

“But promise me, you will call me, at least, one to two times per day.” I said, looking straight into their eyes.

“I will call you!” Bom yelled and raised her hand like a little child. I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Okay,” I smiled and then took my bike. “Just call me whenever you’ll have free time.” I added and grabbed my bike.

“We will~” Boom sang and they started walking away.

“We have dance practice, so we’re going now.” Minzy said.

“Okay. Take care and don’t forget.” I said back and waved at them. They waved back; and as soon as they turned right behind the corner I let a loud sigh out, making the man laugh.

“Sorry,” I said in English and blush a little.

“It’s okay,” he said and waved with hand. I was quite surprised he spoke, so I just stared at him for few minutes.

“What’s your name?” I asked curious if he would answer.

“Mason,” he smiled.

“And you already know my name.” I muttered, snorting.

“Yes I do, but I don’t know which one is real; Xiao Yun or Park Jung Jinny.” He said and looked at me, his glasses falling on the edge of nose, so his blue eyes were looking at me right thru my soul. My heart stopped.

“My real name is Xiao Yun; I’m just pretending to be Jinny, because I decided to take a revenge on a certain guy.” I nervously smiled as we started walking towards school gates as well.

“That one, who came to you in dining room?” he asked interested. I only nodded. “Did he do something wrong to you?”

I didn’t answer; instead I stopped and looked down to the floor.

“I’m sorry, if I made you remember stuff you don’t want to.” He apologized.

“It’s okay,” I smiled sadly. “It’s just that he humiliated me in front of whole school, with making a bet with another boy from this school.” I explained quickly and started walking again. Then I remembered I should at least say goodbye to him. I stopped again, making Mason confused, and looked at him.

“I have something to do, can we go to that place first?” I asked him.

“S-sure,” he nodded. I smiled gently and walked together with him to NH Media.

When we came to their building, I leaned the bike on the small wall and walked in, with Mason behind. I didn’t really say to him to stay out, since he’s a nice person.

I walked over to the receptionist, woman in her early 20’s, and asked if they’re here.

“Yes, they have singing practice at the moment.” She nodded as she was looking on the computer.

“W-where?” I asked, making my heart skip a bit.

“It’s in media room on the third floor.” She answered and smiled, looking back at me.

“Thank you,” I lightly bowed and walked towards elevator.

“So?” Mason asked as we both stepped into elevator.

“I’m going to meet few friends, to tell them that I’m leaving for USA.” I smiled, but it quickly disappeared as I remembered his painful expression everytime we were together. That’s why I stopped going to visit them and that’s why he never came again, whenever I was with Big Bang or 2NE1. It was just too painful when we were so close together, seeing his painful smile. I didn’t want that, so I decided to back away and disappear from his life, though it’s really hard, since I can’t stop thinking about him.

“One sided love?” Mason asked as he saw my expression changing.

“I don’t love him, but it’s just painful whenever I see him suffer in my presence.” I muttered.

Clang, the elevator announce, before Mason could say anything. The doors opened and we stepped out, seeing long hallway. We walked towards right and started searching for media room with number 305.

“Here,” Mason called from in front and pointed on the doors in front of him. I quickly walked to him and took a deep breath, holding the hook. I slowly opened the doors and heard a piano coming out of it. At first it was somehow a quiet sound, but then it got louder when we both stepped in and closed the door behind.

“Annyeonghaseyo,” I greeted, bowing as few people looked at us. Mason went back into his guardian mode.

“Annyeonghaseyo,” they greeted back and lightly bowed with head, but quickly turned to the mirror, where they were standing.

His lightly brown hair, reminding on red color, were shinning in the room light. I couldn’t help but smile, but at the same time, my heart shattered in pieces.

“What song are they recording?” I asked the closest guy.

“0330,” he answered and suddenly they started singing. First, was Eli: “Yo listen up, this is my tragic story, just to break into my heart, check it.”

He sounded so heartbreaking that even my heart ached at his voice. Then it was Hoon’s turn:

“I still cannot erase you.

I keep thinking about you

I really miss you.”

Others sang: “I cannot sleep at all at night.” Then it was Hoon again.

“The sound of the raindrops hitting on the window of my heart

The place that you left

I really miss you.”

Others again: “And I cannot sleep at all at night.”

Suddenly his voice, the way he was signing, no rapping, broke my heart again.

“The view of your back, leaving me on this rainy road

Because I couldn't do anything again,

I regret it again every day. I'm sorry,

I pray I want you to be back.

I can't. I can't stand it. I cannot stand a day without you.

My tears are falling again.

Will I be able to forget you? When will I be like that till?”

“You are so cruel,” I muttered as I felt tears in my eyes. I shook my head to stop them and luckily I was able to. When the song ended, they came out and was surprised by finding me there, sitting on the couch.

“Xiao~” Kevin sang suddenly showing his childish side and hugged me tightly.

“Kevin~” I sang and hugged him back, jumping off the couch.

“What are you doing here?” he asked, suddenly really excited. I smiled and looked at him and then at others.

“I have something to tell y…” I tried to continue, but AJ cut me.

“I’m going back first.” He said coldly. Others looked at him as well as me.

“AJ,” Kiseop tried to stop him, but he didn’t stop.

“Don’t deny our r²π (r squared pi).” I sang the line I loved the first time I heard it. He stopped, not turning back. I slowly stepped towards him and touched his hand; but he showed it away, like he just got burned by fire. Suddenly he turned around and looked straight into my eyes.

“What do you want?” he asked, still cold.

“I want to tell you that I’m going overseas.” I said, so everyone heard it.

“What?” Kevin asked. I was still looking at AJ, not moving my eyes away. He didn’t showed anything; his eyes were cold as before when he saw me. I smiled painfully and turned around, knowing I already lost him.

“Britney Spears invited me.” I said, trying hard to hold my tears back. I heard doors opening and then closing. Without holding back anymore, my tears streamed down my cheeks.

“Xiao,” Soohyun muttered my name and hugged me tightly. “What’s wrong?” he asked, like my father did everytime something bad happened and I came home with tears streaming down my cheeks.

“I think … I realized …” I sobbed.

“Realized what?” Kiseop asked.

“My feelings for …” I didn’t continue because they already knew who I am talking about. “I didn’t know until I heard … this song, you were singing. It hurt me … when he was rapping, because I could feel it … in his voice.” I hugged Soohyun back. He lightly patted my back, trying to let everything out.

“Aigoo …” Kevin sighed.

“I know I shouldn’t have said that line, but … I … I … love him…” I sobbed and looked at Soohyun, who only smiled painfully.

“I know you do,” he whispered and leaned my head back on his chest.

After I calmed down a little, I told them everything about America and what I’ll be doing there. They were happy for me, which they showed, yet they were still sad, since I came seeing them after months of not. They were curious why I didn’t come and I told them about that too.

“I didn’t want to see AJ’s painful expression whenever I was near him. I know I broke his heart and that I hurt you all just by going back to SM High, but I just couldn’t let it alone.” I explained.

And after hours of talking with them, we parted our own ways; me going home and them going back to their dorms. It was already evening, but I was walking slowly, pushing my bike alongside.

When I reached home I talked with mom, saying that I got a chance to study in America together with Britney Spears. At first she was angry after I told her that I’ll be going this night, but later she accepted the idea. We both went up, while Mason was in living room feeling like he’s home, and started packing up my clothes.

“And here I am, living alone from now on.” Mom whined as we were standing in front of house in the middle of night.

“Don’t worry mom, dad will probably come back quickly.” I smiled and hugged her. “I will call you when I’ll landed in Korea.” I added and looked at her.

“You better do.” She said in strict voice and pinched my nose. I laughed and hugged her again.

“I’m going then,” I said and suddenly a black car, looking like limo, stopped in front of house. Mom and I both stared at it and then Britney stepped out.

“Britney,” I smiled and waved. She looked at me and waved back, walking towards us. I looked at mom and said in Korean: “Mom this is Britney,” then I turned to Britney and said in English: “Britney this is my mom, I’ve been talking about her excellent homemade food.” and smiled.

“Annyeonghaseyo gwa mannaseo bangapseumnida,” Britney smiled bowing. I looked at her surprised, but I know she just learned this a while ago, since I said it first time when she asked for me.

“M-mannaseo bangapseumnida,” mom stuttered, amazed by her beauty and how she greeted in Korean. I looked back at mom and smiled.

“I’m going now,” I said waving, while Mason took my luggage and put it in trunk.

“O-okay,” mom stuttered and nodding, still amazed, but still managed to wave. “D-don’t forget to call!” She yelled as I sat inside.

“I won’t,” I smiled and closed the door.

“Your mom was quite surprised when I appeared and greeted her in Korean.” Britney smiled as we drove off.

“She didn’t expect for you to come to our house, neither did I.” I smiled and admitted. Britney only laughed and looked on her phone as it started ringing, as well as my phone. I looked up, and saw Kevin’s number.

“Yeoboseyo,” I picked up.

“When is your flight?” he asked breathless.

“In an hour …” I muttered confused.

“Which airport and which exit?” he asked again even more breathless.

“W-what is going on?” I asked back.

“Just tell already!” I heard Dongho’s voice behind.

“Is this phone on loud speaker?” I asked.

“Say it!” I heard Kiseop as well. I let a quiet sigh out and closed my eyes.

“Seoul airport, exit 4.” I answered.

“Thank you,” Kevin sang happily and hanged up. I stared in front thinking ‘what the hell just happened’.

After we reached the airport and headed towards Exit 4, I suddenly heard someone yelling my name.

“Xiao!” At first I couldn’t recognize it, but then I heard Soohyun’s voice. I turned around and right in front of me was, now totally breathless, standing AJ.

“A-AJ,” I stuttered from surprised and stepped a little away. He didn’t say anything, he only wrapped his hands around my lower back, pulled me closer and pressed his lips on mine. From surprise I didn’t know what to do. I felt Britney’s eyes on me and probably grinning evilly.

“I love you,” he said after he pulled himself away from my lips, trying hard to resist.

“I love you too,” I smiled gently, finally knowing what it really feels like when someone truly loves you.

“You tried to leave, without saying a proper goodbye.” Kevin pouted like a child. I looked at him and laughed.

“I’m sorry,” I lightly bowed my head.

“When will you come back?” AJ asked. I looked at him and grinned: “Surprise,” and pressed my lips again on his.

“Xiao, we’re leaving!” Britney yelled. I looked at her and waved, yelling back: “Coming!”

“Oh my gosh, it’s her!” Kevin screamed and pointed at her. Then he looked at me, still pointing at her. “You’re so lucky, you know!” he yelled, hyper, just like Dara.

“So you’re a fan of Britney, huh?” I said, already with a plan in my head. He nodded without looking back at me, staring at Britney, while she was waiting me. “Well, I’m going now,” I added and hugged all of them.

“Bring us something~” Kevin sang as he hugged me.

“Ne~” I sang back, already knowing what I’ll bring him back, or what I’ll show him.

We parted, kissed AJ again, and walked after Britney to the doors, which lead to airplane. I looked one last time back and smiled, knowing that I’ll miss them a lot. As we seat belted our self, we set off. I quickly fell asleep, but was, after time, awakening by a sudden shaking of airplane. I looked at Britney who was obviously worried. She looked back at me and we held our hands tightly. In a split second, I saw a fire from the right side, and then … darkness.
