“The fourth and last member of the new SME girl group is non other than the suppose-to-be-SNSD-member Soon ChaeYoung who also is the leader of the group. She is studying at Dongshin university majoring in music, which means that she are classmate with Beast’s Yong Junhyung and Jang Hyun Seung.”

Name: Soon ChaeYoung (순채영)

DOB/Age: September 19, 1990, 20 years old.

Height: 165cm.

Position: Leader & lead-vocal.

She walked in Doo-Ri Chung’s spring/summer fashion show in 2008, in2009 she did a ice cream CF for Lotte and later that year she was featured in Korean group Jumper’s MV ‘Yes’.

Training duration: 8 years and 1 month.

Background: She grew up in Seoul where she also began taking singing and dancing classes at the age of 8. And in the spring of 2002 she auditioned at SM Open Weekend Audtion Casting and passed. She was suppose to debut with SNSD in 2007 but due to personal reasons she didn’t. She is currently studying as a freshman at Dongshin University, majoring in music.
