Plot

This is a story of a couple who separated because of trial that occurs to the girl’s family side. Dara is a rich girl who used to live in a life where she can have anything she wants because of her father being a good businessman, but it didn’t last long. Dara’s dad becomes addicted into gambling since he started doing it because of a friend advice. At first he is happy when he feels so lucky everytime he wins in the game, but as the days goes by, his luck have lost and led him to continue loosing, until one time he decides to collateral his house to play again hoping that he can win. All his hopes gone when he lost to Mr. Kwon, Mr. Park don’t want to lose everything so he made another bet and that time it’s his own daughter. They have an agreement that states there, his only daughter will marry Mr. Kwon’s son. He fails to retrieve his property and also his daughter when he loose again. When Mr. Park’s family knew about it, Dara oppose with it and it led to an argument between the father and daughter relationship. Mr. Park had an heart attacked and now confine at the hospital, Dara blame herself for what happened to her father, so she decided to continue the agreement without telling her boyfriend Seunghyun about the situation because she don’t want to hurt him. But her plan didn’t work out because he found out about the marriage by one of their friends. Will love can keep them together or love will break them apart?

Characters:

Choi Seunghyun – He is Dara’s boyfriend and very much in love with her. A simple man who lives in an ordinary life by being a part-time contractual worker  in the morning and waiter at night to sustain his own financial needs and of course for his girlfriend so her parents won’t think that he is a just a man who love a person for money. He lost his parents after the car accident that happened after his graduation in college, he is the only one who survived.

Park Dara – She is Seunghyun’s girlfriend and also in love with him. A rich girl who can have everything she wants because of money, but behind that she is kind and helpful. She is happy with her life not until what happened to her dad. Starting that day everything turns out wrong.

Kim Yoona – Seunghyun’s childhood best friend and later on becomes Dara’s friend. She has secret feelings towards Seunghyun, but she failed to tell him because Seunghyun already fall in love with Dara.

Kwon Jiyong – Mr. Kwon’s youngest son and the heir of the KJ entertainment. He will be Dara’s future husband and since he first met her he already fall in love at her that is why he agrees with the marriage. He is close with her sister and cold with his own father because of what happened from the past.

Kwon Yuri – Jiyong’s eldest sister. She leaves far from her family because Mr. Kwon didn’t honor her as his daughter for being a bastard child. She becomes independent, but never fails to communicate with Jiyong about his life and how he is doing. She is a carrying and loving sister to him.

Other Characters:

Lee Seunghyun – Dara’s best friend who always there for her and knows everything she is going through.

Kang Daesung – the owner of the bar where Seunghyun works as a waiter. He also becomes his friend who helps him found a job being a contractual worker.
