EXO-M: Lay's POV

I couldn't believe this. Here I stood along with Tao, Xiu Min and Chen, wondering desperately how the hell things had gotten like this. I didn't exactly wanted to blame Kai for this but it was technically his fault that we got separated.

"I can't ing take this!" Tao screamed, kicking at the rocks in frustration. Xiu Min and Chen just sat there next to each other, Chen scuffing at the ground out of boredom. "Why did I even agree to this stupid thing?"

"Can you calm down please? Your tantrums aren't going to solve anything," Xiu Min complained. He sighed and laid down, pulling Chen along with him. They continued to just lie there.

"Xiu Min's right, Tao," I bolstered. He continued to thrash out in a rage until he kicked a rock so hard he almost broke his foot.

"Damn this!" he yelled. I couldn't help but chuckle at his foolishness. This guy was such a hassle. I walked over to him and held his shoulders. You just had to look him in the eye and he'll comply.

"What are you looking at?" he sneered. I held his gaze, matching the intensity that it possessed. He seemed to faulter then finally looked away, releasing a sigh.

"Fine. Now what do we do?"

"We go look," I replied.

"Look for what?"

"A way out, possibly?"

Tao looked hesitant and I didn't blame him. We were travelling across unknown areas. We didn't know what danger we could be putting ourselves into, but we still had to at least try.

"I'm up for it," Chen abided. Xiu Min agreed.

"I guess it's settled then. Get off your asses and let's go," I ordered. They got on their feet and we started to take a look around.

It seemed like years had passed. We were all getting exhausted and starving. The water that Xiu Min had brought along couldn't quench our thirst and soon we ran out.

"Why does this happen to us now?" Chen whined. He ended up giving Xiu Min a piggyback ride because Xiu Min's legs were almost ready to give out. My power couldn't do anything about fatigue. Chen requested a break and I was happy to oblige. Tao kept his silence, like he usually did after he got upset.

"We can't last much longer like this, and neither can the others. We have to find either a water source or Suho," I said.

"How the hell are we going to find a water source, Lay? We're on a ing moon!" Tao snapped. I glowered at him.

"I'm sorry, could you not be such an ? I'm trying to think of ways for us to actually survive!" I snapped back. His face swelled in agitation and he turned his back to me. Fine, be that way. I looked over at Xiu Min and Chen. They were in their own little world.

"Okay, can we take this seriously? I don't want to die here," I stated.

"All we have to do is find Suho," Xiu Min said carelessly.

"Yeah, well, does it look easy to you?"

"... Maybe."

I threw my hands up in exasperation. I can never win with these people.

"You know what? I'm leaving. I don't care whether or not you guys come," I bellowed and stalked off.

"Lay, wait!"

"Lay!"

I felt someone embrace me from behind. I turned around in their arms to find it was Tao.

"I'm sorry, Lay."

I couldn't believe this. Tao actually initiated a hug, and apologized at the same time? I suppose moons do actually make people go insane.

"T-Tao," I stuttered. I looked into his eyes and he held my face in his hands.

"Please don't be mad," he mumbled, dropping his gaze to my lips. I felt his thumb brush my bottom lip. My eyes grew wide and I threw him off of me. He was playing one of his dirty mind games. He started howling with laughter.

"You should've seen your face! What, you think I'd actually kiss you?"

I blushed and tried to hide it. I was so embarrased. Tao caught on and only started guffawing louder.

"Stop it!" I screamed at him. He wiped the remaining tears from his eyes and composed himself.

"Oh, relax. I was joking."

"ANYWAYS. Can we just focus on getting the hell out of here?"

"What do you suggest we do?"

"Find the others?" Chen inputted.

"Exact-" I was cut off by someone screaming my name.

"LAY!"
