EXO-K: Suho's POV

I wasn't expecting that. I could see Kris fuming at every step Tao took towards Kai. Every fibre of his being was tested from trying to stop killing Tao himself. I was just watching the scene unfold around me in amusement and anticipation. Kai could be really stubborn and such a handful sometimes.

I glanced around the room. The lethal atmosphere was beginning to die down already. Our plan was initiating. Kris and myself had decided to join forces, realizing the potential us and our underlings had when we worked together. There might be some barriers that will get in the way for some of them, but they'll surpass them. We could be so powerful. We would be invincible.

I switched my attention to D.O. He could be one of the most powerful if we just worked on his attitude a little. He was starting to get softer, more cowardly everyday. I scratched the nape of my neck. I couldn't see anyone changing him, though. Maybe I didn't want him to change. I noticed Chanyeol had left him to go talk to Kai and he looked so delicate and defenseless. I couldn't help but walk over to him. I gave his shoulder a tight squeeze and his large, moist eyes stared deep into mine.  He was like a little brother to me, I couldn't change the way he was.

"Are you alright?" I asked him. He nodded his head then shifted his gaze to the floor. I gave his shoulder a final squeeze and walked back over to Kris.

"This is working well," he commented, referring to our plan.

"Do you think it'll stay this way?" I asked his opinion.

"Well, look at Tao and Kai for example. They were trying to murder each other just a while ago, now they're acting like they are the best of friends." It was true. Tao and Kai have seemed to get closer after their brawl. They were even laughing with each other. I emitted a small grin.

"That's Kai for you."

"You know, ever since I met Tao, I have never gotten a single laugh out of him, let alone a smile," Kris said, letting out an oppressive sigh. I patted his back, then continued to watch the pair. It seemed so unlikely that Tao and Kai would have gotten used to each other already, but Kai does have a way of bringing people together. He was our key.
