Mindless, AnonymousEXO-M: Kris's POV
I grabbed my head and held it in place. The throbbing finally started to subside. Something had gone horribly wrong with the teleportation, because now we're all scattered across this planet. I don't even know if everyone was on the same planet or not, all I could see was an endless oblivion and not one single form of life.
Finding that just standing there wasn't going to help anyone, I began walking around the area. Keeping my surroundings in close check, I wandered further off into the darkness.
It seemed like an infinity when I discovered something glowing off in the distance, but it seemed so far away. It'd take me hours to walk there, it was right on the horizon. It was the only possibility in finding the others, so I headed off in the direction of the light.
My legs started buckling. Walking was exhausting. Then I became aware of something that made me want to hit myself. I can fly!
I dashed forward and jumped as high as I could manage. From there, I levitated through the air at an enormous speed. I could be so dense at times, why didn't I think of this before?
Taking a shorter time than I had thought of, I already arrived at the source. It was majestic and left me speechless. What stood infront of me was half of a tree that was about ten feet high up. This was it. This was one half of The Tree of Life.
I peered down and noticed it was completely rooted into the ground. How the hell was I going to get this thing out of here by myself? Well, at least I knew exactly where I was. I was on one of the two moons. All I had to do was retrieve the other half on the second moon. Now I just needed the help from the others to get it out.
Oh, yeah. My underlings are missing. I frowned at the thought. I hope they were all okay. I know Tao and Suho could fend for themselves, but the others couldn't survive for long on their own. We all depended on each other. They depended on me because I was their leader, and now I had failed them again.
I slid down the tree and pressed my back against it, pulling my knees up to my face. What do I do now? I can't afford leaving this tree, it was the whole reason why we had come here, but I can't just sit here and not go look for the others. My mind was stuck in a stalemate.
Maybe if I stayed, they would see the light like I had and come here. Thinking this was the best solution, I laid against the tree in hopes that someone would come find me.
