Invasion
Weird TaleInside an isolated jungle under the shining moon there was a unique and hidden sanctuary where the most fear supernatural creatures were growing; the Werewolf Clan’s den. This concealed place was surrounded by enormous canopies that acted like tall yet hard fences. There were houses belong to the werewolves living inside. Although these creatures were called as werewolves, they lived together from generation to another in their human forms. As if they were tribesmen, they built huts and shacks from every resource they could collect. As if it was a hidden village which soon evolving into a small town; as if houses were not enough to occupy the land there were other mandatory buildings as well such as the administration, post office, small hospital, town hall, academia, military site and the last but not least was the Werewolf Clan’s leader’s mansion. This mansion took 10 years to be completely which in the end all of its decorations and functions were too splendid. Every leader of the wolf clan did not have to busy themselves for thinking on how to build another place to live while they were ruling since this mansion was built permanently; changing leaders but same house. This was where Changwook and his fellow workers lived.
Inside a colossal yet epicurean office room there was Changwook who was standing on the carpeted floor while facing the window before him and his hands were at his back. The Prussian blue sky was bathed with tiny stars, looking so serene that one soul would just stop by the terrace and stared up at the sky while admiring the beauty of the night. The window was a large and tall one, having no hanging curtain to block the view. The carpet was all in luxurious brown while the walls of the room were having golden marbles which surely enhance the view of the room. On each wall, famous paintings were being displayed to show pride and wealth, candles being hung on the wall; making the room to have a style of an old era but in a prosperous way. Antique decorations were placed on top of the tables against the wall, potted plants giving off magnificent yet sweet aroma and the crystal chandelier was the most highlight in the chamber. Shelves of thick books were arranged in a circular pattern surrounding the desk in the middle, as if they were looking over to the one who would sit on the chair. The books were all covered with the same material; leather. The pages of the books were all stained and the passages were not printed but written well with unique shapes of letterings. Some of the texts were in Latin; all regarding about tomes that nobody would know their truth. The desk was made from expensive woods along with the chair as well. On top of the table, there scattered were the tools for writing and an old-looking necklace being neglected it seemed. Changwook who was still facing the large window, watching over his people and town, finally walked back toward his desk before sitting down.
“Wine.” Changwook spoke to nobody in particular as he leaned against his seat.
As if his low voice was loud enough to give orders to the people outside of the room, a butler suddenly entered the room after knocking the door. He approached Changwook’s desk with a glass of red wine in his grasp. He came into a halt and bowed before serving the wine to the leader. Changwook let the butler placing the wine on the table.
