The scent of warm fresh blood entered his nostrils once the dim lights greeted his sight. His body was aching, especially his lower abdomen area and then his wrists. He barely could let out a voice, his throat felt dry and he was craving for nothing but water to satisfy his thirst. He felt lonely, petrified and anxious. Where was him? What day was today? And after a few seconds of regaining his senses once more, Yunho finally found out that he was on the floor sitting and leaning his clothed against the wall. The pain throbbed even harder but he had to crank his neck and darted his eyes around the chamber. Bare exposed concrete floor and bricked walls, mossed corners and a single hanging lamp. There were no windows and only a wooden door was seen standing so ajar. It could be his escape route but he admitted too well that he was captured within a foreign property and he dared not seek for a rebellious action as to his acknowledgement, he was again, inside the wolf’s world. Yunho winced as he gazed upon his shirt that was now merely engulfed by a pool of crimson blood, and he did not have the heart to check on his stabbed wound as he assumed that the cut itself was now developing into a worsened condition. However, as if being stabbed was never enough, Yunho groaned in frustration as he noticed that his wrists were tied with a rope and the same went to his ankles. He was sweating mostly by his own beads of sweat, nervous, scared, injured and hoping. Yet he was surprised he was not dying despite the engulfing pain of his wound. But again, he was so certain that he had no chances in saving himself.
“Junsu is saved…” Yunho mumbled under his breath as his eyes gazed upon the floor.
His pale lips curved into a small weak smile as he had the feelings that he had rescued Junsu. By that way, he was sure that he had erased some of Jaejoong’s burdens and guilt, and it was a reason and way for Yunho to redeem himself. Yet he was not sure if he could crawl out of this place alive, knowing that his wound would just provide him with limited time of breathing, and until the last of his breath, he thought, he would die with a smile after admitting that he had done something so heroic that he didn’t expect a human like him could do. He didn’t regret dying, and he assumed the others would not come to save him. Or even if they did, he would not be seeing them with closed eyes. That was it, losing hopes upon himself, Yunho just heaved a weak sigh as he leaned his head against the wall and closed his eyes, perhaps a one last rest for him.
“I am fine here…” Yunho uttered with a nearly hoarse voice as he forced himself closing his eyes and smiled, trying to convince himself that everything was so perfect, despite death was probably approaching.
