RAE’s POV

“NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!” I suddenly screamed, sitting up from my bed and breathing heavily.

“wh-what happened?” Ha-Ye suddenly came in holding a bat with her sleepy eyes looking around the place.

I grabbed my chest and breathed in and out slowly, shaking my head from the memory

DREAM FLASHBACK

I was on the ice rink again, standing beside Xander who held my hand and smiled
“Step by step Rae-Rae you can do it.” He said and I nodded smiling

I took a step forward and to my surprise, I was moving smoothly.
“I’m doing it.” I looked at him and he nodded, squeezing my hand lightly

“Your really amazing Rae-shii huh?” He stopped skating and stood infront of me

I arched an eyebrow and looked at him “What do you mean?”

“You wake up from a coma, strong as ever. You stand infront of flames like their nothing. You cant skate but you tried hard and did it. And—“ He intertwined our fingers “you caught my heart”

“Mwo?”  I looked at him wide eyed

He smiled and held my cheek, he started leaning closer and I felt my heart beat change faster. When suddenly we heard something break. I looked down and saw the ice cracking.

“Xander, its breaking.” I said looking back up at him, but he suddenly let go of me and fell into the hole the broken ice created.

“XANDER!!!!!!!” I screamed bending down trying to look for him.

“He’s gone…..” A voice whispered and I bit my lower lip

“No.” I said standing “He cant”

“Ohh but he is.” The voice said again.

“NOOOOO!!!!!!”

FLASHBACK END

And that’s when I woke up. I looked at Ha-Ye who dropped the bat, which I have no idea where she got and laid down on the floor, hugging her legs as she slept.

I looked at the clock and saw it was 8 am; I sighed and slowly stood up.
I walked into the bathroom and splashed my face with water; I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed.

“Such a strange dream…” I whispered. I puffed up my cheeks and poked them with my finger when suddenly something caught my eye.
I looked at my bracelet and saw I had a new charm.

“I don’t remember getting this.” I held the charm in my hand and arched an eyebrow; it was s charm of ice skates.

“Aish, ice skates.” I shuddered but bit my lower lip, it was still really pretty though. Did—Did Xander happen to give this to me?

I shook my head and sighed. Xander and ice skating do not go well “Pshhh, evil dream”

“Dreams are evil now?” I heard a voice behind me and I turned around finding him leaning against the door frame

“Yaa, I was in the bathroom, you didn’t even dare knock?” I asked him and he shrugged

“Well it’s a good thing you’re not doing anything….” He smiled “I shouldn’t see”

“You’re erted.” I walked pass him and heard him chuckle

“So, whats with Ha-Ye being passed out on the floor of your room?” He followed me into the kitchen.

“I dunno, she just came into my room carrying a bat then passed out on the floor.” I shrugged and he smiled

“What are your plans today?” He sat down and looked at me

“Today, I wanna find a job.” I said placing my bowl of cereal on the table as I sat across him

“Didn’t I say you don’t need one?” He sighed “I’m here, so you don’t need a job.”

“Xander…I’m not a parasite that just everything you have.” I said pointing my spoon at him “So, I’m looking for a job”

“How about—“ He was going to say something but I cut him off

“No, I’m not working for Ukiss.” And with that he pouted

“OK, then, I’ll help you look for a job.” He smiled “I’ll drive you around.”

I bit my lower lip, trying to think if this was a good decision or not
“Okay.” I nodded and he gave me a thumbs up

“Then after, we drop of Suki at the airport, together with U-kiss, Arraso?”

“Okay.” I bowed and started eating.

“This is useless!” I screamed looking at him “I am going in there, and you stay out here. Don’t you dare follow me inside”

“But—“ He tried to say but I covered his mouth

“Follow me and I’m running away.” I warned him and he sighed nodding

“Good” I let go of him and smiled “I’ll be back in a few minutes.”

I slowly walked into this store that sold cakesand sighed. I hope I get this job since I failed getting the past 10 ones. DAMMIT XANDER, why did you have to ruin every chance?

FLASHBACK

“Good morning Ahjumma.” I bowed and smiled at the woman

“Good morning” She said looking at me

“I would like to apply for a job, I saw you had a sign outside saying you were looking for a new worker.”

“Ohhh yes, we’re in a rush to find one. I think you’ll—“ Before she could finish her sentence Xander came next to me

“Ommmoooo, RAE! I haven’t seen you in a while; I heard you were in a coma for 6 months, are you okay?” He smiled at me and I looked at the woman who shook her head

“We cant be responsible for that, sorry, you cant have this job” She said and I sighed.

NEXT:

“Well, you like you can handle this job.” The manager told me and I smiled

“I know I can, I promise to work hard.” I pumped a fist in the air and he chuckled

“Rae? You’ve only started walking for 2 weeks now, right? Suki is asking.” Xander popped up holding his phone as he looked at me. I bit my lower lip and looked back at the Manager

“2 weeks?” He said then shook his head “I’m sorry, but your not in any condition to work. And we cant be held responsible for that”

NEXT:

“I’m very approachable so I bet I can do this job.” I smiled

“Then sign here and you’re hired.” He handed me a piece of paper and I smiled, finally.

“Rae, the doctor told me he wants to check you up today, he’s saying he thinks the coma might had side effects” Xanders voice boomed and I groaned loudly standing up

“I KNOW, I CANT GET THE JOB. AND YOU CANT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT!!” I stood up and grabbed Xanders hand as we walked out.

FLASHBACK END

I walked into the store and smiled, it was another cake store. I remember my old job being involved with cakes, I can do it easily.

“Anneyeong?” I looked at the counter but no one was there “Is anyone here?”

“I’m here.” A boy suddenly popped out from the corner and my jaw dropped, he was gorgeous.

“Is there anything you need? What type of cake?” He smiled and I blinked my eyes a few times

“Uhhh—job, wanted sign outside.” I pointed at the door and he laughed

“Actually, someone already took the job.”

I suddenly pouted “Really?”

“But, you look like you really need this job, you can be an exception.” He leaned against the counter and studied me.

“REALLY?!” I beamed and He nodded smiling that amazing smile

“Ommmooo, you are so great.” I clapped

He nodded “But, I’ll need you number to text you and tell you when you can start.” He suddenly pulled out his phone from his pocket and handed it to me.

Before I could take it, I felt hands snake around my waist and my eyes widened. I looked to my side and saw Xander laying his chin on my shoulder as he looked at the guy with a glare; he then set his gaze on me with a smirk

“Whats taking you so long?” He asked and I gulped. His face was so close to mine.

“Di-Didn’t I tell you to wait outside?” I stuttered and he just smiled at me

“I got bored, you’re taking too long.” He said and I slowly removed his arms from my waist, but he suddenly grabbed my hand and held it with a smile

“Just—Don’t speak” I told him and he nodded obediently and I looked back at the guy who placed his phone back in his pocket

“Ohhh, I was gonna give you my number.” I smiled and he just looked at me

“You don’t need to.” He said blankly “someone already took the job”

“But I thought I was an exception?” I said

“I was wrong” He said looking away “there’s no job here for you”

“AAAAIIIIISSSSSSSHHHHHH” I groaned and made Xander let go of me as I walked out of the store “is it really this hard to find a job?!”

I placed my hands in my jackets pocket as I walked faster when I heard footsteps run after me.

“RAE RAE” Xander grabbed my arm and forced me to stop walking

“WHAT?!” I glared at him and he gave me a wide grin

“My cars this way” He pointed at the other direction and I looked at it.

“really??” I bit my lower lip “I—I mean, I DON’T CARE. I don’t wanna ride with you. I’m walking home.”

“Your house is also this way Rae.” He continued to point at that direction

“WELL I WANNA GO ON A WALK FIRST.” I made him let go and started walking away when I heard him chuckle.

“I’ll join you then.” He walked beside me and I groaned

“WILL YOU PLEASE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE FIRST?” I glared at him and he shook his head, saying no.

“why are you so mad anyway?” He looked at me

“WHY?! WHY?! You’re asking me WHY?!” I snapped “I didn’t find one job at all today cause you kept butting in! They were all ready to accept me! But you—“ I pointed at him “ruined it all.”

He simply shrugged and looked straight ahead “Maybe its fate, telling you that you shouldn’t work, or maybe just work for U-kiss.”

“MWO?!?!?!??!?!” I yelled and stopped walking “FATE?!”

He stopped walking and looked at me with a smile “Rae-Rae, you are so loud. Come on, lets continue our walk. We still have 2 hours before we go to the airport with Suki.”

“ANIYEO! And why are you so calm! I’m screaming at you like a mad woman.” I glared at him

He smiled wider “Its cause you look too cute, I just cant find it in me to get mad right now.”

“Aigoo, Xander you are so annoying.” I stomped and he just walked towards me

“Get used to it Rae, kaja, lets continue our walk.” He held my hand and we started walking again. I simply decided not to talk, since if I did I might forgive Xander then and there. He had to believe I was mad at him for a while, that is my next mission. Make him believe you’re mad at him.

Took me 3 days and alot of tears and laughing to get back to writing. :)))))))), you guys should watch that drama, i'm frigin inlove with it.
