~~~~~~~Sanghyuk had never regret anything greater than he had in that very moment. Not only had this been the most nerve wrecking experience ever, he was just so confused and clueless. This woman kept asking him questions, things he didn’t know but she expected him to answer. He was scared she would start to get mad soon.

“What about an address? Do you have an address for your house?”

“Oh, I know what that one is! I know it, but……..I don’t know what it is. I never remembered the numbers, Hongbin hyung kept telling me I should. It was really hard though.”

“That’s okay. We’ll find something else.” This woman looked like she was trying to think of something, Sanghyuk recognized this look. He messed something up again. He was supposed to know that…………he felt bad for not remembering the numbers on their house. He should have looked before he left.

Like this Sanghyuk continued to struggle. She asked him all these different questions, but they were all stuff he didn’t know about. He could tell that they were trying to help him, but they just didn’t make sense. Hongbin hyung did it different, he did it better. Things made sense when Hongbin hyung was around……..and Sanghyuk was starting to really miss him. He missed everyone else too. They were more helpful than these people. Maybe he should have come with them?

“How about you come to the back with us? We just need to know more about you before you go see your mom.”

“Why? Is she still really sick? If she’s mean right now I can come back with my nice hyungs. They’ll know our address!” She seemed taken aback, but Sanghyuk didn’t know why. He didn’t understand what part of his words were confusing them.

Just as Sanghyuk started to talk again, he was interrupted. He knew this voice well……it was the person he could have gone without seeing. Hyung sounded extra mad already, and Sanghyuk really didn’t want to look at him.

“What are doing here brat?! Did you come with those morons to screw up our lives even more?!” Sanghyuk stopped moving, his hands slowly trying to reach down for his phone. Hyung was really scary right now, like the time that he locked himself in his room and called Hongbin hyung. Only there was no room to lock himself in right now, and Hongbin hyung wasn’t here to protect him.

“Hhhyung, there not here. I just wanted to-“

“To do what? Haven’t you destroyed things enough as it is!! You have no right to start stuttering and acting all innocent, you’re a pathetic useless little bastard like always!!”

Sanghyuk almost forgot what this was like. Now it was a painful reminder, as his hyung grabbed Sanghyuk and forced him to turn around. Sanghyuk wanted to call his nice hyungs, he wanted them to come help him again but hyung wouldn’t let him. He wouldn’t stop cursing and screaming. The lady was trying to stop him, but he wouldn’t listen. Hyung never listened.

“I-I’m sorry. I-I’ll leave, I’m sorry….you’re hurting me. Please let go, I’m sorry. I’ll leave.”

“Like I care if this hurts you pathetic baby! Mom shouldn’t even be here, this is all your fault!. You shouldn’t even have been born you bastard!!!!”

Everything hurt so much after that. Hyung pushed him against a wall, Sanghyuk hearing a pop and suddenly burning pain. He started screaming and crying, hyung pushing him to the floor and hitting him. Large people in black outfits came and tried to pull hyung off. It took a lot of them, and everything just hurt. It didn’t matter where it was, everything was just so painful.

“Sanghyuk, are you listening? Sanghyuk can you hear me?” Was this the woman? Hyung wasn’t there anymore, and Sanghyuk watched him get dragged away cursing and screaming by the big people. Sanghyuk could barely answer, he was still sobbing. 

“It hurts……I need the nice hyungs. It hurts, they—they will make it stop hurting. I need to say sorry to the nice hyungs—I was bad. It hurts—“

“It’s okay, shhh. We’re going to get you to the doctor Sanghyuk. Try not to move, your shoulder is injured. It’s okay, the doctor will take care of you.”

“Doc-doctor will help me find the nice hyungs again. I l-left them. I need to say—sorry. Ouch. I need to—I need to tell them I learned it was wrong now……they don’t get mad. Ow, they won’t let hyung hurt me anymore.”~~~~~~

Once he had spent a small while in the hospital, Sanghyuk started to think he could understand why Taekwoon hated this place. Not only was there always some person hovering, checking on you repeatedly and running around the room, but it never felt good here. Sanghyuk felt sad enough, but the hospital did nothing to help him. It was scary when the nurses came to look at his bruises, and if Hongbin hadn’t been there Sanghyuk would have cried almost all the time.

Sanghyuk didn’t think this place made any sense, since he didn’t know why he was still at the hospital in the first place. The doctor told him it will take a long time for Sanghyuk to be entirely better again, but Hongbin hyung said they that they wouldn’t be there for the entire time. He had told Sanghyuk that the nice hyung’s and grandma will help take care of him at home, but he was still in the same bed. They said something like “staying admitted until we can be certain his mental state is stable enough to support the burden of his physical injuries.” Sanghyuk could remember the long and very complicated sentence because he had heard the nurses and staff repeat it many times.
