“Eunhee, open the door.”

Then came the banal rasp on the door that was slowly grating on Eunhee’s nerves. Eunhee lifted her head from the mattress, debilitated and demoralized. Her head felt heavy and her vision was bleary. It hurt to blink. She imagined her eyes red and swollen from the amount of tears that had unceasingly flowed out of her eyes.

Eunhee squinted. The light in the room was starting to dwindle away quietly. The parting in the room revealed what remained of the sunlight being swallowed by darkness.

Four hours.

Four hours she had been idle, doing nothing but lie on her bed doing nothing but cry. She knew that it was inane: she had to get over it. But she could not. Every time she tried to stand up, her thoughts would swivel back to the events that day. Pain would shoot through her as if a new wound was opened and she could not help it.

She did not wait three gruesome years for this.

The rasp on the door sounded again.

“Eunhee, you can’t stay in there forever.” Sora’s soft voice filtered through the door. It did not process in her mind though, as her thoughts were a thousand miles from home.

“That’s it. I’m going in.”

There was a twist of the knob and Sora strode in. Realizing this, Eunhee’s senses became sharper and her distracted eyes focused.

She looked up and found her cousin’s face gazing back at her. She violently wiped the tears away from her face and gave a forced smile to Sora.

“Yeah?” she uttered throatily. Her cousin smirked and sat next to her.

“You cried,” Sora stated. Eunhee shook her head, even though the evidence was so obvious.

“Shut up, you did. Now why did you?” Eunhee sniffed.

"I don't know... I just..." Her voice trailed off. She remembered Byunghun's dark eyes, two chips of eyes, bore into her and swept her cold.

Sora shifted. “You know him, don’t you?”

Eunhee inhaled deeply.

“Yeah.”

[A/N: Hey guys. I know this chapter is a bit okay maybe VERY short but my stupid writer's block decided to strike today.but, MY EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER AND IT MEANS THAT I CAN WRITE MORE.
