Jieun checked the time on her phone before dialing Wonho’s number.

“Shin Hoseok, where are you?” She said as soon as he picked up.

“I’m… on… the way…!!” His voice was drowned in so many noises and roars and it made Jieun think what was exactly happening in the background.

“The show begins in 15 minutes. If you can’t make it, I’ll seriously kill you. I told you to take a day off!” She was nagging while his rough breaths could be heard through the phone.

“I’m almost there, honey…!”

“You’d better!” Jieun snorted. “I’m waiting for you in the hallway, next to a huge banner.” Jieun eyed the banner saying ‘The 15th Children Musical Festival’ and ended the call.

16:55 and Jieun saw a clumsy Wonho running toward her from the entrance door. He slipped a few times on the floor before stopping in front of Jieun, panting and resting his hands on his knees.

“I… made… it…” He panted hard and Jieun felt sorry for him. She grabbed some tissues from inside her bag and started cleaning the drops of sweat from his face as he straightened up. 

“Why were you running?” Jieun quickly asked. They didn’t have much time before the show began.

“It was traffic… I got off the car a few blocks away and ran till here.” Wonho explained proudly. That was the hardness of being a husband, dad and idol at the same time but for the past six years, he managed to balance everything well. Sometimes he had to undergo some difficulties but for his family, he could do anything with a smile that never faded.

Jieun smiled at his effort and pulled him closer by his collar. Wonho got surprised by her behavior but soon started smiling when she ran her fingers through his hair to style them. She patted the collar of his coat and made him decent.

“Let’s go before…” Jieun started but she was caught up when he kissed her lips out of blue.

After all the time they spent together, still, his little actions could make her heart flutter.

“Yah~ what if someone sees!” She hit his chest lightly.

“No one is here…” Wonho shrugged upon seeing the empty hallway.

“Oh God! The show is beginning! Hurry up!” She grabbed his hand and dragged him into the theatre hall.

After saying sorry to a bunch of other parents who were sitting and the Shin couple had to pass them to reach their seats, they settled down and right after that, the lights went off.

“We were just on time.” Wonho said excitedly. Jieun shook her head while holding onto her husband’s arm.

The show was absolutely fun. The kids were cute and adorable in their costumes and all the parents there were proud of their children’s acting. The show ended with a loud round of applause and the kids stood in a line to introduce themselves. They all said their names and their roles and the audience clapped for them till it reached to a couple of kids standing in the middle. The five-year-old boy, who had his mini guitar in his left hand, reached his hand for the five-year-old girl standing next to him. The little girl held his hand tightly and they bowed together.

“Annyeonghaseyo.” Both of them said in sync.

Then the boy started. “We’re… Shin Jiho…”

“…and Shin Jina.” The girl ended with a smile.

Jieun chuckled seeing her babies so grown up standing there and she felt proud as the other parents were commenting that how cute the ‘Shin twins’ looked. That was the nickname for Jiho and Jina, Wonho and Jieun’s twins.
