After letting out a light growl, Wonho opened his eyes to the striking light of morning. Although his body was sore and his throat still hurt but he felt a lot better than last night.

He turned his face to the source of softness on his right and found Jieun sleeping there. She was curled into a ball beside him and a towel was lying loosely between her fingers. Wonho finally felt the wool on his own forehead and put away the towel. He glanced back to Jieun, from the signs she’d taken care of him overnight. There was an extra blanket on him while she was perhaps freezing. Wonho moved the blanket away from himself and lied it on her.

“Thanks.” He her cheek lightly but suddenly she stirred in sleep and opened her eyes.

Seeing Wonho already awake, Jieun straightened up and observed him worriedly. “Hoseok ah, how are you now?” Without waiting for his answer she bent over him and felt his forehead. “That’s a relief, you don’t have a fever anymore.”

She ran a hand through her rather messy hair and moved them away from her face. Wonho couldn’t take his eyes off her. Maybe he was still sick and out of his mind but she looked ier and prettier than other days.

Wonho glanced at her concerned face and smiled. “I’m alright now.” His voice was still raspy and hoarse but at least he could speak now.

Jieun started nagging at him. “I was so worried last night. I wanted to call Shownu oppa but then I thought they’re tired like you, so I didn’t… and I didn’t know what to do… you were whimpering in sleep and those coughs were really bad… what is this Shin Hoseok?! Who let you get sick?!” Jieun ended her whining with a little cry. She didn’t know she would react like that but seeing that his significant smile is back, made her heart and mind go crazy.

Wonho stretched his arms and cupped her face. “I’m sorry that I made you worried.” He her cheek with his thumb.

“Don’t you dare to get sick ever again.” Jieun pouted.

Wonho saluted with a playful smile. “Don’t pout Kang Jieun, you look cute and I can’t resist the will to eat up your lips but I don’t want to get you sick.” Wonho tapped her lips softly and she chuckled.

Jieun made breakfast ready till Wonho got a quick shower. When the dripping water sound stopped and Wonho stepped out the shower, Jieun sat the table but after some minutes he was nowhere in the kitchen. Jieun made her way to their bedroom and found Wonho standing there in his bathrobe.

“Change quickly, you’ll get cold again!” Jieun scolded him but he pouted and glanced at her with puppy eyes.

“I’m so weak to change. See…” Wonho faked failing to grab his shirt from the closet. “Will you help me… like last night?” He pouted, showing his pleading eyes.

Jieun remembered last night when she helped him wearing his clothes. He was seriously sick but apparently, he was remembering it.

Jieun rolled her eyes while folding her arms, knowing him too well to know that he was acting. “Now you’re asking me to dress you?”
