Jieun headed out the campus of her college. After explaining to professor Park about her condition and sorting out her work, she asked for a two-week break which professor Park let her take.

Jieun checked the time on her phone and walked to the main street to take a cab to the airport; her mom’s flight should arrive soon. She shook her hand but instead of a cab, a black car stopped by her. Jieun raised an eyebrow to talk back to the person who was probably going to waste her time by hitting on her.

fell open when she saw Wonho with a wide smile on the driver’s seat.

“Get in babe.” He motioned her to get in and Jieun did so.

“What are you doing here Hoseok?” Jieun asked surprised.

“I was waiting to pick you up!” Wonho smiled at her surprised face and tapped her nose lightly to turn her shocked mood off. “Airport right?”

“Yeah… but didn’t you say you’re busy today?!” Jieun asked again, still confused. “Whose car is this?!”

Wonho smiled proudly and eyed the car before glancing back at her. “Our car!”

“WHAT?!!” Her jaw fell.

“I was busy buying this!” Wonho chuckled. “What do you think? Do you love it?”

Jieun eyed the car, still in mental shock. “I love it… but why so sudden?”

Wonho shrugged with a goofy smile. “I just felt that now that we’re a family, we need a car.”

Her heart was shaken by the word ‘family’. It was still surreal that how they were going to be a real family in just a few months.

“You’re so random… I wasn’t expecting this!”

“You aren’t mad, right?!” Wonho pouted slightly. “I’m sorry I bought it without telling you, I kinda wanted to surprise you. I promise I won’t buy anything without telling my beloved wife.”

Jieun was already melted by his sweet talk and his smile. Wonho knew that she wasn’t mad but he wanted to spoil her anyway. Her cheeks that got slightly red whenever he mentioned the word ‘wife’ was the cutest thing to witness. Then he hovered over her and grabbed the seatbelt. He pecked her lips before fastening it.

“Let’s go get your mom!” Wonho fastened his own seatbelt and slightly laughed at her nervous face at the mention of her mom.

As soon as Jieun saw her mom, she forgot all about other things and jumped into her arms. It was so long since she last met her and she missed her so much. Wonho walked toward them and waited till their warm greeting ended. To his surprise, Jieun’s mom hugged him too and called him, son in law. Well, he should get used to it too.

“Omonim, you sho
