things you said through your teeth
things you saidI watched Minwoo stumble out into the dining area where I set two plates of breakfast on the table. He stood still, and I slipped myself into my seat without acknowledging him.
"...thank you for lending me your bed." Minwoo fidgeted, hesitating before heading to the dining table for his seat opposite mine. "...and breakfast."
I nodded simply, scrolling silently through my phone to check for new e-mails.
He took a few bites, slowly losing the tension in his shoulders. "Sorry for bothering. I must have told the taxi the wrong address."
I shrugged.
"I'm doing pretty well." He laughed a bit awkwardly, and I eyed his hands before reading a new mail from a client. "My mom introduced me to this really cute girl and we've been hanging out often."
I scanned the content of my mail once more, mentally making plans.
"We've got lots in common. The girl says she hopes we can get married within the next year because she'd like to have kids early." Minwoo continued, and I felt his gaze on me.
"Minwoo-ssi."
He raised his head sharply, eyes widened.
I smiled softly. "I have to head to work soon. Please finish your breakfast as soon as you can so I can lock the door before leaving."
Minwoo dropped his head and nodded, then finishing his meal in silence.
I watched his hands once more as I took my last bite, his index finger and thumb rubbing nervously against each other.
Minwoo does have a really odd habit when he lies.

He tried to insist to wash the dishes for me and I didn't bother to argue. I packed my bed while he did, and then we both headed to the door to leave.
Once we were outside, Minwoo wore his shoes while I slipped into mine, hand reaching to lock the door at the same time. Although my feet were in my shoes, I frowned when the key refused to fit into the keyhole.
But that wasn't my concern right now.
A pair of arms wrapped themselves slowly around my waist, half-cautious and half-desperate from the back.
I couldn't move.
I couldn't breathe.
He pressed his face against my shoulder, and I waited.
A tremor.
Almost unnoticeable.
And it shook.
And grew so violent.
Minwoo cried against me, hasty breathing and sniffling noises allowing me to picture his current state.
"I missed you." He choked, tightening his hold around me.
