We took a taxi to the airport, and the both of us sat on a bench right outside my check-in area after we finished all the procedures.

He leaned against my shoulder, the sweet fragrance of my shampoo on his hair reminding me of yet one more thing I would be missing.

Playing with my ring, he took it off my finger and inspected it.

"Hm?"

"Just wanted to see if my name is still there." Minwoo shrugged. "...maybe we should have gotten rings with names on the outside."

"You said that was tacky."

"...yeah, I regret it." Minwoo said quietly, and I let my arm bring him closer, squeezing him.

"Minwoo." He looked up towards me, eyes fluttering close as I kissed him. He clutched onto my shirt and didn't mind if he left creases on it, fighting my tongue for dominance so desperately. I pulled away slowly, staring straight into his eyes. "...I will miss you."

He nodded wordlessly, face turned away.

We sat in silence for some more until my time was up. I stood up abruptly, and he hurriedly grabbed onto my wrist as if I would disappear.

Minwoo started trembling as we walked towards the staff who would check my passport, and I didn't know what I should do to stop his tears.

"Tell me if you don't like the food there." He sobbed, pressing his face against my shoulder. "I'll send you boxes of ramen."

"I will."

"Tell me if you get bullied there." He pressed closer. "I'll send some knives."

"Minwoo."

"Tell me everything that happens." He hooked his pinky with mine to seal the promise, and I nodded in reply. "I'll miss you."

He pulled away hesitantly, then tackling me once more.

"You big fat idiot!" He screeched, grip around my body so tight. "Tell me you love me."

"But I do."

"I'll keep you here if you don't spell it out for me."

"Minwoo, I love you." I smiled gently, his hair as he buried his face deeper into my chest.

He pulled away shakily, still unsatisfied with everything. I reached for my pocket and asked for his hand.

"What?" Minwoo sulkily asked, but gave me his hand anyway.

Slipping what I had in my other hand into his, I leaned down for a quick kiss and left him.

Any second longer and I wouldn't be able to guarantee I would catch my flight.

"You big fat jerk, I love you too!" He yelled, waving my keys in the air with a tear-stained face, wearing a finally assured smile. "Have a safe flight! You're not allowed to die until you come back!"
