Hold My HandThe next day they toured around the place and when he had to leave her to go to the hotel, he arranged for her to have a spa treatment so she wouldn’t be bored. Seohyun refused to let him waste so much money on her but he was adamant. He told her she should be ready tonight when he’ll demand some payback. Blushing, Seohyun agreed to accept whatever he planned and went along. The spa treat left her feeling refreshed when Yonghwa returned hours later. He kissed her lips and grinned feeling how soft her skin was against his.
“I take it you had fun?” he teased and Seohyun nodded.
“I’m glad Hyun-ah. Now let’s go down the restaurant and grab something to eat before we have our own fun,” he winked at her as he led her out the room. Seohyun grinned back at how playful her lover was and kissed him on the lips when they were alone in the hallway. She could feel Yonghwa’s hands caressing her skin as she clung to him and kissed him deeper. They pulled away when a few chattering guests passed by them. Though they were hidden in a dark corner, Seohyun still blushed as she was the one who initiated the rendezvous.
“Stop worrying and let’s eat,” he kissed her once more before pulling away and walking towards the restaurant. When they got there, Seohyun allowed him to order for her as she didn’t really recognize the things in the menu much. Yonghwa didn’t mind and ordered what he thought she’d liked and they talked about their day as they waited for the food to arrive. Yonghwa was admiring how beautiful the woman before him was and was about to say something cheesy when a feminine voice rang out over the secluded area, making him wince and Seohyun to jump out in surprise.
“Yong Oppa! I didn’t know you’d be here!” a woman popped out of nowhere and Yonghwa glanced to see Park Shin Hye standing before their table with a huge smile on her face. He muttered an appropriate expletive under his breath knowing it was his mother’s meddling again.
He rose to greet her and brushed a polite kiss on her cheek when she presented it to him and tried to extricate his hand from hers when she grabbed on to it.
“I’m here on business Shin Hye-ah,” he smiled back at her as they were childhood friends and it was only polite to make small talk. “The question is, what are you doing here?”
Her laughter tinkled out like fine china, “Oh this is just one of my favorite getaway spots. The food is really good and the staff are so friendly and accommodating.”
She turned to Seohyun who was eyeing the pair warily.
“Who is this Oppa?” she asked as she pointed at Seohyun who was starting to grip the table napkin hard.
Like hell Shin Hye didn’t know who Seohyun was and the lies that she just happened to be where they were now. He’d lay odds that Shin Hye had never been here in her life. She was shockingly transparent and yet didn’t give a damn. That could only mean she was here to cause trouble and it was his mother who’d sent her here. His mother’s name was written all over this and though he wanted to strangle Shin Hye for interrupting them, it was his fault for not telling Irene to keep this trip a secret from his family. Well it was too late for it now when it was clear that Shin Hye being here was no coincidence at all.
“Shin Hye, meet Seo Joo Hyun. Hyun-ah, this is Park Shin Hye, an old acquaintance of mine.”
Shin Hye’s smile was dazzling and she playfully fluttered her fingers on his arm, “Oh dear Oppa. Surely I rate higher than an acquaintance.”
Seohyun’s eyes narrowed at the remark and its implications. Yonghwa decided politeness was overrated and was do
