“I want that one.” Aeri pointed to the canned coffee in the vending machine.

“No.” Hoya shook his head.

“Why not? You got one.” Aeri pouted.

“Well, I’m not in a hospital gown am I?”

“Not fair!”

“Drink this instead. It’s full of vitamins.” He handed her a bottle of grape juice.

Aeri gave in and sat down with the juice.

“Can I have one sip? Just one.” Aeri asked after Hoya took his first sip.

He shook his head.

"Please?" She leaned in close to his face so that she was able to smell in caffeine.

Hoya took his index finger pushed her away by the forehead.

“Fine…and you still haven’t told me how you found out I was here”

Hoya shrugged.

“It makes no sense. You couldn’t have known I was here…no one would have contacted you.”

Hoya let out a small chuckle.

“Why are you laughing...Are you a stalker?” Aeri gasped.

“If I am, I’m pretty good huh?” Hoya teased.

“Creepy.” Aeri shivered.

“Does this hurt?” He took Aeri’s hand that was connected to the IV drip.

“It did.”

“It did?” Hoya raised an eyebrow.

“So it doesn’t hurt anymore?” Hoya asked.

“Nope.” Aeri shook her head.

“OW! It hurts! Ah!” Aeri cried once he let go of her hand.

“Why? What’s wrong?” Hoya panicked, reaching for her hand again to examine it.

“Hehe. Now it doesn’t hurt.” Aeri giggled.

Then Hoya realized that Aeri was just playing with him.

“Ehhh, you scared me!” He gave her an angry look.

Aeri stuck out her tongue and turned away, still fiddling with Hoya’s fingers which were intertwined with her.

“You know…” Aeri started to say as she looked down at the ground.

“Hm?”

“You were right.”

“I was?”

Aeri nodded.

“I thought about what you said and you’re right. The past is the past and I shouldn’t try to relive it. I was so caught up in remembering my past that I overlooked what was in front of me. Someone better. Someone that has been in front of my eyes all along.” Aeri smiled.

Hoya didn’t know what to say.

His ears turned red and Aeri could feel his hands begin to sweat.

Aeri let out a chuckle before she reached up and planted a kiss on Hoya’s lip.

When Aeri pulled away Hoya stared at her with wide eyes.

“From today on, be mine.” Aeri winked.

“I’ve always been yours.” Hoya corrected her before reaching in for another kiss.

“Doctor! Her heart rate is dropping significantly.” The nurse informed the doctor.

Sian woke up and turned to the commotion.

Doctors and nurses surrounded Aeri’s bed.

“Aeri!” Sian got up and yelled her name.

“What’s happening?” He panicked.

“TELL ME!” He screamed but no one paid attention to him.

Then he saw his father and assistant standing outside the room.

His father’s eyes were on Aeri.

“It can’t be…” Sian shook his head.

“Clear.” The doctor said as he pressed the defibrillator against Aeri’s chest.
