“Aeri!!” L hovered over her and stared down at her pale face.

“Doctor!” Woohyun ran out the door.

“My…my head hurts.” Aeri fluttered her eyes.

“Miss, do you know where you are?” The doctor asked as he examined her eyes.

“Hos – hospital?”

“Do you know why you’re here?”

“N…no?”

“Do you remember what happened?”

“N…no?”

“Can you tell me anything about yourself?”

“I…I…my name is…Kim Aeri... but I don’t remember anything else. Why can’t remember anything?” She panicked searching for a familiar face.

“It’s okay. Take your time. Do you recognize any of these people here?” He pointed at L, Woohyun and Sungyeol.

Aeri examined them carefully only to draw a blank.

“I’m sorry. I don’t know them. Am I supposed to?”

“It’s me Woohyun oppa.”

“And me Sungyeol oppa.”

“Wait...I think I remember him.” Aeri pointed to L.

“You do?”

“You're L oppa, my brother.”

The smile on their faces immediately disappeared with the latter part.

“No, I’m you brother’s best friend. Aeri do you really not remember anything?”

“No...Where’s my brother then? And my parents.”

“Your parents…?” They hesitated and exchanged looks.

“Sunggyu hyung? He’s…” Woohyun muttered.

“I’m Kim Sunggyu by the way and this is my younger sister Kim Aeri.”  His voice echoed in her head.

“Ah.” Aeri cried in pain clenching onto her head.
