Free My Heart“Let’s go sing now!” Soonmi linked Aeri’s arm as they left the restaurant.
“No! We’re doing the assignment.” Hoya pulled Aeri away.
“Come on! We have three weeks to work on it.”
“Yea. I’ll play today and work hard later!” Aeri waved him goodbye.
“No.”
“Then you come too!”
Hoya shook his head and followed.
He didn’t know why but he just did.

“It’s already 9? I gotta get going before my parents have a fit!” Minhee gasped.
“Me too!” Soonmi added.
“We’ll see you Monday Aeri! Bye Hoya.”
“Bye! Get home well!” Aeri waved.
“So did you have fun today?”
“No.”
But Aeri knew it was only a lie.
“I’m glad you had fun.” She laughed skipping ahead of him.
He shook his head and followed her lead.
“Here’s my bus stop. I’ll see you tomorrow,”
Instead of leaving, he stood there waiting for the bus with her.
“Do you take this bus too?”
Hoya shrugged and looked up at the night sky.
“You know, it’d be nice if you answered my questions.” Aeri walked to the edge of the sidewalk and looked to see if the bus was coming.
“Then I won’t feel like I’m talking to myself all the time.” She turned around but her foot slipped off the edge and she fell backwards, out onto the busy street.
Hoya caught her, pulling her into his arms.
Her head came in contact with his chest and she could hear his heart racing
