Hoya pulled away and ran his hands down her arms until they reached hers.

Aeri could feel her heart racing in her chest.

Her ears and cheeks reddened.

She was lost in his eyes.

With one of his hands he intertwined it with hers and with the other hand he grabbed a pair of her shoes.

“Hey! Where are you two going?” L yelled when he heard the door close.

By the time L got out the door, he saw the elevator doors close.

A million thoughts ran through Aeri’s mind as they continued to walk.

But the silence was killing her.

She stole glances of Hoya hoping that he would start a conversation but he didn’t.

As they approached the bench, Hoya sat down and so did Aeri, since he still had a hold of her hand.

“You know…” He finally said something.

“Hmm?” Aeri turned to look at him.

“This is the first time I’ve confessed to a girl…and…well…I don’t really know how I did.” He kicked the rocks by his feet.

For the first time Hoya felt nervous.

“I think it was pretty creative.”

“Really?” Hoya’s eyes lit up.
