Free My Heart“Ugh.” Aeri brought her hand to the pain to feel blood.
“Aeri!” Dongwoo rushed to her side.
Sunggyu had accidently shot his sister in the arm.
“Don’t touch her! This is all your fault!” Sunggyu pounced at Dongwoo.
Through the pain Aeri heard Sunggyu and Dongwoo scream at each other.
Their hands were at each other’s neck and they fought closer and closer to the balcony.
“Oppa!” Aeri screamed when she heard the panel break off.
Both Sunggyu and Dongwoo were hanging on to the platform of the balcony; their lives at risk.
“Aeri, help your brother. Don’t worry about me.” Dongwoo ordered her.
He was stronger than Sunggyu.
He's been through more dangerous situations than this.
“Oppa! Take my hand.”
“Ugh!” Aeri muffled her voice to hide her pain.
“Hold on and don’t let go!”
“Oppa! I’m sorry.” Aeri cried.
“I – I know. Li…listen to me…never trust anyone unless you truly know them.” He struggled to hang on.
“And…and don’t be so naïve. You’ll only get hurt. I…I can’t hold on much longer.” His fingers started to slip.
“Oppa, don’t let go! Don’t leave me. You’re the only family I have left. Please. You promised you’d take care of me forever. Don’t leave me like mom and dad did.” Aeri pulled tighter as blood seeped down her arm.
“I’m sorry.” And he let go.
“Oppa!”’ She screamed.
“Ugh!” Dongwoo yelped catching Sunggyu’s arm.
