Monday morning when Hoya entered the classroom, he found a banana milk on his desk.

Friday Night

“Bye. I’ll see you Monday.” Aeri waved as they got off the bus.

Before arriving at her apartment, Aeri felt pairs of legs following her closely behind.

“Hey! Pretty girl, where are you going?” One called.

“We just want to talk. We’re your sunbaes at school.” Another added.

“And we even live in the same neighbourhood.” The first chuckled.

Aeri held onto the straps of her backpack and sped up.

The faster she walked, the faster they followed.

“Please go away.” Aeri thought playing with the bracelet on her wrist.

Their footsteps grew closer.

Suddenly someone grabbed her when she turned the second corner.

“AH!” She screamed but he quickly covered with his other hand.

“Shh!” Hoya stared into her frightened eyes.

She relaxed when she recognized him.

Hoya pushed her to the wall and put one hand against the wall to block her face.

He leaned in until their noses touched.

Any small movement would have resulted in a kiss.

“I swear I saw her turn!” They took a glance at Hoya and quickly looked away.

“She couldn’t have gone far. Come on!”

When the boys were out of sight, Hoya grabbed her hand and walked Aeri home, and not a word was said.

He smiled at the note, poked the straw into the lid and went back to staring out the window with his headphones on.

“Sorry!” Aeri apologized as she bumped into someone dropping all her books.

“Watch it! Oh, it’s the new girl.” Yena rolled her eyes.

“Her name is Aeri.” Hyunsik helped Aeri with the books.

Aeri reached for the last one only to have Yena step on it.

The harder Aeri tugged the harder her step.  

“Oh sorry, is my foot on your book? I didn’t even noticed.” She
