ONEW’S POV

We made it back to their home at around eight in the evening. The lights were on, meaning Ming is already inside. Both of us had a great time. We laughed until we cried. For the longest time, I laughed so hard that I forgot all the baggage I am carrying. She was my happy pill, my ball of sunshine, my source of light. She had always been like this to me since we were kids. Yeap, Minho was the boy best friend that I have but sometimes, Sara’s comfort is just different than Minho’s. It is warmer and I feel like I can actually open things up to her. I remember when we were kids

“hey,” she said as she sat beside me in my room

“why are you here?”

“I heard you got scolded”

“I always get scolded for no reason. It ”

She just suddenly hugged me and whispered comforting words in my ears. That day I felt someone really did care about me. She was always there for me, she always cries for me...with me.

“Thank you for today” she smiled

“Call me like you used to when we were kids”

She was smiling but more like hesitating. I want to hear it again. I want to feel that feeling again. After so many years I felt like I have been all alone and I don’t know how to heal my heart. I was never this kind of guy. The type to just have and leave the door the next day or while she is sleeping in bed. I am not the type who made out to random girls without any attachments. Not the type of guy who smokes and drinks until passing out. But you must understand that everything just didn’t happen without any reason.  Everyone should keep this in mind, if someone hurt you or did something to you, always remember and consider that you might have done something to provoke it or triggered it, that even though you are the ones who got hurt, you have also done something to them too, even more hurtful that they ended up hurting you. EVERYONE IS GUILTY OF SOMETHING

“Say it Sara,”

“Thank you for today my Onew”

I want to change. I want to have someone to drive me to change. I laughed. I always laughed when she says that and that smile on her face makes it even better

“Do you want to come inside?”

“I need to fix things in my place. I’ll text Ming later”

“He’s probably playing video games. If you wanna come inside”

“Are you going to miss me that much?”

“No.”

“Next time”

“Okay then, Good Night!”

“Night forehead!”

I waved while I waited for her to go inside and when the door was shut close, I started to walk.
