I am going to throw a party for my brother tonight. He will be arriving later so I plan to invite his team mates. I made a list and started grocery shopping. Onew was so busy today due to practice and lately we have been a little distant with each other after that night. It seemed so awkward after that

I called my best friend

“Hey, where are you?”

“home”

“let’s go grocery shopping”

On my way to the grocery store, I bumped into Onew’s team without him. I keep looking but he is not there. Then one of his teammates, a face I have seen before approached me.

“Hey,” I can’t remember his name

“Hi, You’re Onew’s teammates right?”

“Yeah, Jeongmin by the way. And you’re Choi Minho’s sister right?”

“Yes” I smiled. To be honest he is kind of cute

“Looking for Onew?”

“Where is he?”

“Coach let him stay and have another round of practice. The man has been distracted. Grocery shopping?”

“For my brother’s welcome home party. You can come if you want”

“Sure! We’ll be there”

He wink at me and I smiled and got out of there as quickly as I can. Inside the grocery store, Joy has already placed some ingredients on the basket

The party started even though Minho is not yet here. There are a lot of people inside the house already drinking and playing games. Some girls in my class are chatting with the baseball team and other teams. Who the hell are these people? Words really do fly in here.

Onew is still not home by the way and I am here waiting for my brother’s team bus to arrive. I checked my phone if there are messages from Onew but there was none. Then someone sat beside me. It was Jeongmin from earlier

“Hey, Nice party”

“Thanks!” I noticed some of his teammates are looking at us. What’s their problem this time? Annoying jocks!

“uhm,  I was just wondering if you’re seeing someone right now?”

“Me?” I laughed “No, I actually don’t”

“so my friends dared me to get your number and ask you in a date, will you?”

Then my brother’s bus is here. I ran into him and gave him a big hug

“hey, forehead!”

“I miss you” I hugged him again. He kissed my temple and played with my hair

“You threw me a party”

“yeah, go enjoy inside”

“where’s joy?”

“with her new boyfriend”
