Lacey couldn't help but grin as she walked towards the master bedroom, carrying the two boxes of pepperoni stuffed crust pizza in her hands. Sure the bottom parts of the box was oily and steaming hot, but she didn't mind. All she wanted to do was gobble all of its contents.
As she got closer to the door, something caught her eye. Face paling, she ran towards it.
There was a note.
They're so dead.
Lacey knew automatically who 'they' were. The witch was talking about Lay and Luhan, who were right behind this door. Balancing the two boxes in one hand, she tried to open the door with the other.
Rattle, rattle, rattle.
"Oh ," she cursed. She banged her fist on the door, "Luhan! Lay, what's going on?!" The stupid door wouldn't budge, the doorknob would no longer twist. She banged against the door a second time, "HEY!"
Luhan and Lay sprinted towards the door. "Lacey!" Luhan screamed.
Lay was rattling the doorknob. "It's stuck!"
"Let me deal with this..." Luhan growled angrily, staring deeply at the doorknob. Lay stood waiting impatiently for the telekinetic to work his magic, but for a couple of seconds nothing happened. Turning back to face the ceiling, he let out a small gasp.
"Luhan, you better hurry up—!"
The sound of Lacey's screaming cut him off. Luhan's concentration was cut short by the ear-shattering shriek. Eyes widening in horror, he slammed the side of his body against the door. It didn't even budge. "LACEY!"
Lay started to kick the door with his dominant foot, but nothing could make the door move even the slightest bit. Sending a quick glance behind him, he saw that the blood was now floating downwards.
"Luhan!"
"What?!" The baby-faced man hissed at younger man. When he saw what exactly Lay was staring at, he paled inconsiderably. "Oh ..."
Back with Lacey, she wasn't having much of a good time either. The sound of liquid dripping caught her attention. No longer slamming her fist on the door, she turned around to face the peculiar sound.
She gasped, stepping back, but only hitting the back of her head against the door. The boxes of pizza fell from her hands, falling to the floor and (to her relief) not spilling out its contents.
There was blood splattering the ceiling of the hallway. It sloshed down like a waterfall, but it's movements were slow. Too slow to be normal. Gulping audibly, she watched with scared brown eyes as the blood pooled on a certain spot on the floor. It started to form into something, she didn't know what exactly, but she feared that the blood was solidifying, shaping itself into a person. Lacey hoped that her imagination was just getting into her head, that the horror movies she had watched were just getting to her.
Turning back to face the door, she started to furiously attack it, punching it, kicking it, slamming her body against it.
"LUHAN! LAY!" She shrieked again, desperately beating the door.
"LACEY!" She heard their muffled voices cry out in unison.
", , !" Luhan let out a flurry of cuss words as he sent another glance behind it. The blood was spinning around, twisting itself, forming two thick ropes that looked like the bottom half of a person's legs.
BANG!
"LUHAN! LAY!" They heard her scream their names again. It sounded more terrified then the last time. There was definitely something going on on the other side of the door.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
"Lacey, just run!" Lay yelled out. "Get out of the house and run far!"
Her reply came almost instantly, "NO!" It came out as a strangled cry.
What the hell is going on? Luhan wondered.
"Iseul, you're straining yourself." A woman clad in black said in a warning tone. The woman she was talking to never looked away from the large crystal ball placed on the table in front of her.
Iseul's face was blank, but on the inside she was filled with pure satisfaction as she watched the ongoing horror the three inhabitants of the house experience. The two men, Lay and Luhan, were panicking, worrying over the pathetic human girl instead or worrying about the creature gaining closer to them.
As for the girl, the wickedly red haired human, she wasn't faring so well. She was in a much worse position then they were. The bloody creature was already complete, its limbs perfectly intact and taking shape of a minotaur.
Iseul listened on as she screamed bloody murder as the bloody figure huffed, ready to trample the puny human. On the other side, the minotaur had just finished forming. The two males had stopped screaming and stared in horror as the monster got ready to attack them.
Both bulls headed straight for their targets.
"Iseul, stop. Now."
Iseul let out a deep breath that she didn't know she was holding in. Feeling all her energy disappear, her bones felt heavy, and her lungs were tired out. The illusions instantly disappeared.
Out of desperation, Lay jingled the doorknob once again. Much to his surprise, it actually moved. He swung the door opened and he and Luhan tumbled out of the room. He felt something collide on the other side as he opened it, but ignored it.
"Ah..." Lacey groaned, squeezing herself from the gap between the wall and the door. Rubbing both her forehead and the back of her head, she saw Luhan and Lay sprawled on th
